There were not many options even open on a Sunday morning in the area of Day Break where we were located. We almost didn't even go in here because, from the street, this location looked closed. The crisp cold temps kept everyone indoors so I am really glad we double checked the front door, because we would have missed out on a hidden gem of a spot! We got there early enough that there was only one person working, which initially wasn't an issue, but as our visit went on, a line formed, and I even put back, on the shelf, an intended purchase of coffee beans because I wanted to visit more than I wanted to stand in a line. I ordered an iced Americano with sugar free Hazelnut and a splash of half and half to drink and a Pesto Grilled Cheese on Sourdough to eat. I knew it would be an easy food item to take any leftovers on the plane. Although the indoor space had enough seats for this particular morning visit, I am not sure how well it seats everyone on a typical morning rush. The outdoor space would be my preferred seating location but only when it is warmer temps so I definitely plan to come back and stay longer. The vibe is super chill, the flavor of the coffee was strong and rich, nothing bitter or burnt and we all found something we loved to both eat and drink. Dogs are definitely welcome too and I can see this coffee house becoming a neighborhood favorite very quickly! I wish I had stuck it out and waited in line as I'd love to make a batch of cold brew coffee from their beans now that I am back home in California! Maybe next time!

From classic lattes, to mocha, to au laits, chai's, herbal teas to even hot cocoa. The best part is they DO carry seasonal flavors and fun flavor combos as well! Just do a walk-in and you'll see what I'm talking about. My husband told me to try this place out as I was in SLC for work, and I stopped by this incredible coffee place on the corner. Be prepared as their drive-thru lines tend to line up for sure, and walking into the interior of the shop requires you cross that drive-thru line (be sure to always look both ways!). The interior was cute, quaint, reminded me of an on-campus coffee shop, but it's far from it. I ordered their seasonal banana macadamia mocha? And had been eyeing their sausage breakfast burrito. *Forgive the lack of pictures this time around, my flight came in earlier that morning and the lack of sleep hit me!* The burrito was served with two different brands of hot sauce for the spicy-connoisseur, and a packet of ketchup. I adored the spiced potatoes they added in, it gave the burrito some heft and great flavoring, and not at all flimsy when you hold it up unlike some other places. Sitting outside by the sidewalk was a nice way to enjoy these comforts and I know why my hubby came to this spot every day!

I ordered a blanco latte, and asked for it to be less sweet -- still too sweet, but the flavor profile was very nice. I also ordered a croissant, a bit over toasted and overpriced. Tasted like a Costco croissant. Don't get me wrong, I like the taste of Costco's croissants, but when I order croissants from cafes and pay a premium for them -- I expect something that tastes a little more... artisan. Would return to try more drinks, but probably will not order a croissant again. They were out of breakfast burritos, but I'd love to try those next time as well!
