For travelers along I-80 WB. Seriously? You didn't get gas before leaving Salt Lake? And you passed the Tooele exit without gas? Well, you better get it here. Again, if you've got a few minutes, it will be a fun trip into town. For non-travelers. This is as good as place as any to get gas. Not a lot of services here, but you've got the pay at the pump and the easy access, and it's on the west side of town near the turnoff to the Willow Canyons, so spread the love around and get your Sinclair on. Cami who is one of their cashiers, has made this environment very hostile for me to the point that it has caused me mental and somewhat physical distres, she has created such a hostile environment at the location that I received a phone call from police this morning, because she assumed that I was involved in a situation that had nothing to do with me, she used me as a scapegoat, because she originally told her other employees that she didn't want me in there, none of them really cared if I was in there or not because I had done nothing wrong, so she felt that they were favoring me, she has even gone to the lengths of sending the police to my parents' house this morning at 7am over a situation that once again had nothing to do with me, i do not understand why she has such beef with me. When I only come in there to get a drink and just be friendly, she's a very open person and likes to ask a lot of personal questions. I try to avoid her as much as I can. But it just seems that every time she finds a way to put my name in situations where i'm only just a paying customer, i have always respected her but for some reason thinks it's okay to question me as if she was a detective, one night i had stopped in for a couple beers and had with my kids. She just assumed that I was driving and drinking. As I was checking out her only and first question was.Do you think it's okay to drive drunk with your kids,, i had my sixteen year old who was learning to drive at the time driving me to do so. Instead, I was greeted by three employees who appeared far more interested in talking to each other than acknowledging a paying customer. I stood there for several minutes waiting for someone to even ask why I was there. After I finally informed them that I had an order to pick up, they began preparing it and promptly managed to leave out approximately 75% of what I had purchased. More than $50 worth of items were missing. When I asked about the missing products, the manager's response was not an apology, not an explanation, and certainly not accountability. Instead, I was told that "the system" had somehow deleted my order. Oddly enough, the complete order remained visible in my app and was sitting on my phone screen while this explanation was being offered. Even after being shown proof of the order, the manager continued looking for excuses instead of solutions. At no point did anyone take responsibility for the mistake. The entire interaction felt like an exercise in avoiding accountability rather than serving a customer. Mistakes happen in every business. What separates good businesses from bad ones is how they respond when those mistakes occur. This location failed that test completely. Between being ignored, receiving only a fraction of a paid order, and then being given a series of excuses rather than honest customer service, this was one of the most frustrating retail experiences I've had in years. If this experience is representative of the standards being tolerated here, the ownership should spend less time worrying about online orders and more time ensuring employees understand customer service, accountability, and the basic expectation that customers receive the products they paid for.
