I have been coming here lately for their iced tea for my Boozy AKA Spiked home made Arnold Palmers. They always have a stock of the teas, sodas, and other bubblies. Now since social distancing, theres marked on the ground, the workers wear mask with face proactive gear and they have plastic dividers. Good for them as essential workers to help them safe. The staffs still friendly so don't get offended if they put your cash on the counter and quick to hand you some coins. They are taking all the precautions with this pandemic. Oh and it you want a Big Gulp, they have ya covered but they will serve you. FYI there's no longer a public bathroom but they got gas and water for your gallons to be refilled. read more

I have been stopping by this 7-Eleven for some time now, mostly for nick knacks and lotto tickets. Every time I've been in, the employees have been polite and expedient. They normally have two register going, smartly so given it is a busy store on a busy street. They always have plenty of ice and have one of those Red Boxes outside that I have yet to use, they also have gas pumps and a filtered water machine. Good service, they have what I need, makes me a happy camper...so of course I am a fan. read more

7-Eleven - Convenience Stores Near Me - La Mesa, California

One of the older looking 7-11's, this particular store is a little smaller than most. They have fuel pumps but no diesel. There is a Glacier filtered water vending machine, Redbox DVD automated rental vending machine, ATM, bagged ice and Lotto. Of course a soft drink machine and coffee are on the list. Ameria -Gas propane cylinder exchange. This 7-11 has the Amazon lockers. You have your package(s) securely delivered to this location and use a password to gain access to your package. I experienced a somewhat friendly staff the morning I visited. The store is easy to access but safely pulling out of the property can be a challenge if you plan on going north on Avocado; very dangerous for slow accelerating vehicles. Go south and turn around and come back on Avocado to be safe. I am rating this location a solid 4 stars and not any higher do to its location hazards when exiting the property and the staff not being so friendly otherwise everything else is spot on for what you expect for a 7-11. read more

Couldn't get the reciept from the outside machine so I had to walk in, I didn't have a mask on me and the lady explained it to me sharply that I need a mask. I live a cross the street so I drove home and picked up my mask. Drove back to the 7/11 store and while I was waiting for the lady to print my gas receipt, a customer walked into the store with NO mask asking for a drink from the fountain machine and she tottaly served him. I asked her, why she served him without a mask? And the woman answered: don't raise your voice on me. It's not your bussiness. read more

Be careful!! Card scamming going on at the pumps on Avocado 7/11! I had $400 cash stolen due to a card swiper installed on the pump closest to the street. I eventually got rembursed 6 months later 0 from my bank. I only go to 2 gas stations so when I was contacted by fraud prevention that they were able to stop an additional $2,000 charge, I went back to both gas stations to check. The 7/11 on avocado has 4 pumps and I checked all 4 and only one had been tampered with, and of course it was the one I used. I did go in and tell the 2 staff there that there is a card swiper on one of the pumps and they didn't really know what to say. I went out and took pictures of all the pumps and then they came it and started looking at them. Very upsetting!! read more

Zero deceptive practices. Few will feel any sympathy for my situation. It's like a fat guy that eats all his meals at a fast food restaurant then sues because he's overweight. I don't smoke, I thought I'd buy a couple of packs for a special person in my world (it's Christmas). I stop in at 7/11 @ 10049 Campo Road in Casa de Oro located the brand noted they were $12.65 +/- a dime plus tax. I questioned the high price, last time I was aware of cigarette prices they were $8. The cashier said it was a new tax that just went into effect (I don't know I don't smoke) I bought the explanation and purchased the cigarettes. I was curious (a bit late) and stopped at a liquor store to check their prices $9.45 plus tax (I bought 2). I returned to the 7/11 attempted to return the cigarettes and was denied my request. I was informed store policy....etc and come back and see the manager (Cathy maybe Kathy) tomorrow. I contend this is just low life deceptive practice. read more

This is an amazing 7-11 they mostly have everything expect, sometimes they do not have buns for their hotdogs and depending on the worker some are super friendly while other are not so friendly! Overall, the people here are nice and the cleanness is amazing ! read more

Almost everytime I walk in here the employees are super friendly and kind, I even tend to put gas from here every now and then, the lot is huge so plenty of parking for cars, mostly go in to grab an ice coffee and some beef Jerky, complains would be that the ice coffee machines are out at times which is annoying, and that the Slurpee area could be cleaned a little more, overall a good place for gas and snacks read more

The employees here really make the Experience worth it. So yeah, it's just a quick convenience store, but the staff makes it worth mentioning. Very quick check out process, HOWEVER. .....DO NOT get gas here as the pumps have been tampered with on THREE different occasions and credit card information has been highjacked, per local news stations. read more

I just came in and got French vanilla iced coffee the cup was a quarter full and then the machine ran out so I politely asked the worker to go Check for some more in the back the worker didn't even look in the back and said were out without hesitation I don't understand why the workers are lazy to check there was no one there I don't recommend going to that 7-11 read more

Beware! My credit card got skimmed at this 7-11 on 1/20/18. Fraudulent charges out of Canoga Park, CA at an Exxon Mobil the next day.

I follow the Next Door App and they still have problems of fraudulent charges to lots of people. Be cautious.
