Crisp, refreshing, and just on the edge of that nitro bitterness, with the help of the vanilla syrup. The perfect coffee for a blazing hot day. For a coffee shop breakfast item, the big bang burrito was huge! Filled with eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, tater tots, and cheese. The crema sauce served with it was amazing and had a nice spicy kick. They have multiple tables inside, along with a couch in a smaller lounge corner. There are a few tables outside and some concrete stadium seating, but when it's 100+ degrees outside, ain't nobody got time for that! I love everything about this place and the few times I've met the owners, they've always been super friendly and engaging.

We mentioned it. They remade the order. The second delivery was even more visionary: a box of plain hot water. Not weak Pike Place. Not a light roast. Hot water. A masterclass in commitment to the bit. A coworker returned the box in person. Staff replaced it, and they did so with the serene, unbothered energy of people who had just invented a new beverage category and were not about to apologize for it. No concern. No apology. Just quiet confidence that two consecutive failures on black coffee was, apparently, the intended customer journey. Third time we are told it is actually coffee. We are choosing to believe. They have mugs but you have to ask (we were the only ones with mugs at the tables) and you can't take the mugs into the bookstore.
