I was a bit short on time, so I chose some empanadas and some pastries to go. I tried the chicken, beef, and ham & cheese, which were all delicious. I got this pastry with a fruit similar to guava, which I devoured as well. The staff was super helpful and very patient with me and my indecisiveness. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. We ordered three drinks: a cappuccino, an iced honey lavender latte, and an iced dirty chai (decaf). First, the drinks were mislabeled -- the honey lavender latte was marked as decaf, but it was actually the dirty chai that was decaf. This led to confusion, but more importantly, the flavors were off. I've enjoyed the hot versions of the dirty chai and honey lavender latte many times before, but these iced versions tasted nothing like what I'm used to from other locations. The cappuccino was okay, and the place itself looked nice. The staff member we interacted with was friendly, which I appreciate. But sadly, the drinks just didn't deliver the same quality or taste I've come to love from Grounds for Coffee.
