I visited the store this week to buy a $3 promotion advertised as a chips, grill item, and drink. When I arrived, the only "chip" available was pork rinds, and there were no other chip options. Because I don't eat pork, I couldn't take the deal. A man who said he was the manager -- but refused to give his name -- was rude and told me I should have checked the store's inventory before trying to buy the promotion. He then snatched the fountain drink from my hand. I'm left wondering whether I was treated this way because of my ethnicity or because he assumed I was from the shelter across the street. I'm a proud resident and homeowner in Douglaston, and no one should be treated like that. Customers shouldn't be expected to police store inventory; I came for what was advertised. read more

What kind of 7/11 refuses to let you use the bathroom? Apparently they might be able to refuse most customers but they wouldn't even look at me so how would they know? If I was in there with a medical note I could have sued. So rude. I hope someone does. read more

When I showed a reward to the cashier, he remarked to get the reward, I need to go get the Heineken bottle. He then lied and said the 7-11 network was down. I found out later they don't have such bottles so he wasted my time. Instead of being rude and unhappy, he should just retire at his age. read more

The available parking space makes this 7-11 one of the most convenient in the neighborhood. The facility is always maintained in a very clean and sanitary manner. The coffee is always fresh and the store is very well stocked. Edward is always pleasant with the customers. read more

Surprised no one has recently written a review of this establishment and I'm fairly sure they're under new management because its the total opposite of what everyone else has reviewed. This is definitely one of the friendliest 7/11. This location is well stocked. Employees are always very positive with pleasant attitude. What more could you ask from a convenience store. read more

Have enjoyed a coffee cake coffee from this store for over a year Monday thru Friday. 2.06 a cup - thats 520.00 a year!! Doesn't count the extras I often buy. Today the manager John charges me more for a thermal refill then regular refill. 2.60 Says my thermal double insulated cup holds more. Where's the common sense. It's a double wall insulated cup - this means it holds less then the same size refillable with a single wall. No worries John there's a 7-Eleven on every corner. Actually the next store I went to they only charge 1.40. Said hi, and thanked me for my business. You lost a loyal customer John and I save by taking my money somewhere else. read more

To everyone who uses 7 -11 Today is June 1,2024 at 10:40. I came in in a horrible mood, I'm tired,I have been moving for the past 5 days, I just lost my sister-in-law in March and I'm devastated. I came in for a cup of coffee and it had been on for more than an hour which meant it was burnt I stated to the young lady who was there whose name is SADEF IS AMAZING,SWEET AND ALWAYS READY TO SEVER THE PUBLIC. SHE MADE MY DAY. not only to turn around my sadness and make a fresh pot of coffee but to assist me with the cash app problem I was having to put money on my cash app I am blown away by her service. Whoever owns this 7-Eleven has a fabulous employee all she did was smile through all of my chaos and made me feel like I was the most important person. No matter what she said it's okay I'll help you it's okay don't worry it's okay if you don't know if you are ever out on a Saturday on West more Meyer and you want to come to 7-Eleven please do and please look her up she has long black hair she's beautiful eyes she's very sweet and I can't believe how much she's changed my day. I've gone to this 7 Eleven a number of times. Very convenient to the Cross Island Parkway. Not the biggggggest selection of candy, but it'll do the trick. I always find it a bit pricey--$2.29 for 2 candy bars. Maybe I'm just living in the past, but I find that kind of high though in NYC, Duane Reade charges $1.29. But Long Island? Can be kind of scary at night as I always picture something horrible happening and the bad guys screeching off for an easy get away. Today I waited to pay as the cashier was engaged in a conversation with a customer who had paid, about scanning licenses to ensure customers purchasing certain items were the right age. Be alert to the so-called "deals" at this location. There was a $3 deal for your choice of 3 (mix or match) taquitos or 1/8 lb. hot dogs. I chose 3 of the hot dogs and purchased a large coffee for $1 (on promo). I was expecting to pay $4 plus tax. Instead, the total came out to $7.39! When I mentioned it to the clerk, he initially said yes to 1/8 lb. hot dogs but then mutters (rudely!) that it only applied to taquitos. Meanwhile the sign CLEARLY includes hot dogs. Now I know its JUST hot dogs but it's the principle. If a customer brings it to an employee's attention, it's the employee's obligation to at least check the price. I've been to this location many times before, but it has been heading downhill over the past few years. Terrible just stopped in with my husband. I'm dressed in NYC Transit uniform my husband in construction clothes Korean or Chinese clerk gives us our food fine. Next I pay for food play lottery and my husband asks for bathroom clerk responds "We don't have a public bathroom " I give him the Eagle eye about to return my whole purchase lottery an all an he immediately pull out a dungeon key. Seriously no public bathroom and you have a the dungeon key attached to the stick. The worst 7 11 I have ever shopped in, sales people behind counter are nasty and don't expect them to cash a lottery ticket if you win!!! They have no problem selling you a ticket, but refuse to cash a ticket, even if it's a small amount. Not fair and we won't tolerate this in our town.... V read more

This place used to be awesome, but about a year ago some of the workers changed and it went downhill fast. Used to go out of my way to stop here for coffee on my way to work because the employees were so friendly and kept the place so clean. I passed it last week and stopped in for iced coffee, my usual. When i got to work i took a sip and some thing was stuck in my straw. Looked like a wad of paper towels or cardboard had somehow entered the iced coffee boxes they use and ended up in my straw. Obviously, i was disgusted and will now go out of my way to *avoid* the place. read more

If you're looking for a late-night munchies quick fix, this is just your neighborhood 7-11. Not sure what else you'd expect-- nothing special, everything as expected. Easy parking, no frills, get your hot dog and soda and be on your way. No complaints here. read more

This one is okay but not as good as the one in Forest Hills or the one near Times Square. The cashier ranges from ambivalent to apathetic. The coffee bar is decent if you're interested in quantity over quality, but the baked goods are always stale, even when they're "fresh off the truck"(I think they just rotate them from location to location). What really bugs me is that patrons swerve into the parking lot at high speeds and the lot in front is really cramped. This makes it difficult for pedestrians and those on scooters/wheelchairs to enter. There is also no place to chain my bike except the dumpster and they won't let you bring in your bike or even lean it against the door. Until I can find an affordable Slurpee machine on an auction site I will keep coming here though. read more
