I got a chance to visit Baum's. The parking lot is large, and there is a drive through too. I hear it is very crowded during the summer. Interesting place. I thought we were going there for ice cream. Little did I know when I arrived that there was much more to it. This is an actual store that sells various food items, meals, ice cream, fruits, veggies, etc. They also serve food not just ice cream, like a bag of burgers. The 3 staff members waiting on us were very happy, smiling, friendly. It seems like a fun place to work. I tried the 2 scoop candy bar sundae with mix ins and hot fudge. I got a peanut butter chocolate flavor and a cherry chocolate chip flavor, along with hot fudge, mix ins were butterfingers and Reeses peanut butter cups. The prices seemed very reasonable for how large the portion is. Definitely a good place to try if you are needing an ice cream fix. Check out my photos. read more

Very rude workers and they forgot our order. The guy at cashier was really rude while I was picking the flavor for my shake, they were not packed at all. Then they skipped our orders like 5 times and we waited for 30min for 1 single burger and 1 single shake. 30min for the worst burger and worst service of my life. Very disappointing experience I had a really bad experience with my order because of an employee named Hugo. Unprofessional staff and arguing infront of customers. My order was messed up, and I didn't get what I actually ordered. I understand mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was frustrating and made the whole experience worse. On top of that, the management was horrible and the customer service was just as bad. The place itself was not clean at all, with spills always happening and not being properly taken care of. To make things worse, the food was served cold and honestly tasted disgusting. I got stuck there! Kaleb and the other workers that I could get the name of, were so gracious by allowing me to call and charge my phone after hours. I'm very disappointed in this store. Within less than a year it went from my favorite place for a quick meal that I raved others about, to a waste of money. Spring and half the summer I went about three times a week. ( I work close by) On the last 10 or more visits The food was not edible. Burgers and chicken sandwichs both so dry and tough I couldn't bite through them. They must have been under a heat lamp at least an hour. Even the fries went from fresh and delicious to tough, seeming reheated. If I ever return to this location I will go inside and eat there. I'll tell them I'm in no rush. No leftovers for me please. Seems smaller from the outside, but when you're inside it's so nice and clean. I want to thank Keshia (sorry if I mess up your name) for her AMAZING service. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I can tell she cares for her job and the customers that was through those doors. Also, in my 23 years, I have never had a burger, and this is probably the best burger from a fast food chain I have ever had. It's not overly greasy, it's the right temperature, and it's not overly sauced. Decent burger at OK price. Last few times I have been in the place is half empty and still takes 15 minutes to get a burger and fries. If you order inside be aware the cashier also handles the icecream, so expect to be behind those orders as well. Too many other options in this area when you need to get back to work. Braun's is underrated. Serious. We have not had a bad burger, fries, shakes etc from this location. The service is with a smile and quick. We ate lunch here today and dined inside instead of our usual drive through. The inside was clean and I actually walked through the grocery store part and realized their ground beef is better quality and less expensive than the big chain grocery store just up the road ! The produce are fresh and looked colorful I actually made sure they were real. lol. We decided the burgers from this Braun's beat out the boutique style over priced hamburger places around us in Richardson. Place is disgusting, tables were all dirty, when you get the ketchup from was disgusting. Where they even make the milk shakes is so gross it's like they never wipe any machines after use. All trash cans overfilled with trash. It made me wonder if they even wash their hands before they handle the food or AT ALL. I have been to this location several times since it opened, hoping for a better experience each time. Last night was my last try. I give it two instead of one star because the ice cream is good -- it's Braums brand. But this facility makes me lose my appetite. The interior is starkly lit, with unappealing decor. Every single table was dirty, leaving us to choose the least filthy option for seating. It was a beautiful warm night and I would have loved to sit outside, but alas, there is no outdoor seating. A trip to the bathroom was disturbing; the counter was covered in cleaning supplies: notably a giant bottle of bleach. The floor was not visibly wet, but it was very sticky. There was a terrible smell as well. An employee exited the stall next to me but was not apparently part of the clean up crew, as she rapidly exited WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. There are just too many other good options for ice cream in town. I will never return. read more

I go to this location VERY often, me and my toddler are OBSESSED with their fries and burgers with their Braums sauce and I go regularly just to buy their bags of ice(we are ice eaters) and theirs is the BEST!! During my time in college I was a self-proclaimed Braum's expert. For about a year I frequented this Braum's multiple times a week (one week I visited six times, my personal record for any restaurant or place other than my own home). With that background I can confidently say that this is my favorite Braum's location, good service and decent food (as long as you adjust expectations and aren't expecting hand crafted, artisan ice cream works of art). $1.50 for a single dip, good to go. Braum's is my value pick for ice cream. And out of all the locations I visited in my college years this Braum's always gave the biggest scoops! (Maybe they recognized me who knows..) I'm a classic strawberry guy but there's other great flavors like pistachio, cookies 'n cream, and birthday cake for the kids. Their seasonal flavors like egg nog or peppermint aren't bad either- although eating a whole portion of peppermint can be overwhelming. Felt like treating myself tonight, and stopped at Braum's for a sweet. I ordered a hot fudge sundae at the window, but the girl who took my order must've heard banana hot fudge sundae (no worries, it happens). I checked my receipt after paying and the girl at the window nicely presented me the sundae...I hated telling her it was the wrong one! She was so sweet, offering to remake it for me after I told her I just wasn't in the mood for bananas! She had me park in a waiting spot and, with a smile on her face, brought me a delicious hot fudge sundae (with not one, not two, but THREE cherries!) in under two minutes! It was delicious. This store is always filthy. I understand it's not a 5 Star restaurant but damn. There is never a clean table. You can literally watch people go from table to table trying to find the "cleanest" one and trust me it's a close race to the bottom. Plus, it is frozen yogurt, so it is less fattening, but it still has a dense and creamy texture. And they were very generous with their scoops! I really wish there was a Braum's in Houston!!!! I seriously can't believe that we don't have this. I always forget how cheap the ice cream is here. Whenever I am in the Dallas area, my friends always mention Braum's and I just can't say no! One single scoop is as cheap as $1.39 (I can't quite remember the exact price) and a double scoop less than $2! I usually get mine in a waffle cone just because having it in a cup just defeats the purpose of getting ice cream at an ice cream place. Ya know? I like how they sell tubs of their own ice cream and of course different flavors. When you walk in, it's half a convenient store that sells just ice cream, cones, and milk, and the other half is the dining area. I have yet to try their savory foods and I'm always meaning to but whenever I'm there, I'm only there for the dessert and it's the ice cream. This is one of the nicest Braum's I have been to. Located at Campbell and Coit(ish), this is a super convenient location that will not disappoint. Braum's has the best ice cream and the best combinations. This store is much bigger than others I have visited and there was seating for large groups. My husband and I came here with another couple around 9PM, just after our small group. The place was packed with high school aged teenagers. This made it very, very loud. We had not eaten dinner, so my hubby and I decided to try the food. He ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries and I ordered the chicken strip basket. Mine came with a side of gravy, a dinner roll and fries. The gravy was luke warm at best and so was the rest of my food. The dinner roll was the best thing about the meal. I visited store #120, in Richardson, Texas, on November 2, 2020, and purchased a milkshake via the drive through. When I got back to my office I discovered that there were particles of some foreign substance in my milkshake. It was disgusting and I ended up throwing it out. Before throwing the milkshake out, I poured it into a bowl to see what was actually in it. There were numerous pieces and chunks of what appeared to be from a cone. There was also a piece of paper or cardboard, like the person making it was scraping ice cream from the sides of the carton. It was gross. Believe it or not, this is not the first time I have found something that didn't belong in a milk shake purchased at this store. Several months ago, I found what appeared to be pieces of walnuts in my milk shake. When I called the store, the person I spoke to had no explanation. He apologized, but didn't even offer to replace the item or offer a refund. I find this to be completely inexcusable and unacceptable. How does this happen? Poor training. Poor customer service. Poor product. Unhealthy and unsafe practices. I will never go there again. read more

It's a good place for dessert but the cashier in the drive through was not very nice it was a very bad Customer service .

If I go inside to order the sandwiches, I have to wait 15-20 minutes to place the order. It takes minimum 30 minutes to get the food even when I was the 2nd customer for the sandwiches. While ice cream section has 3 employees are surging when there are only 3-4 customers. Drive through is very smooth. It seems it started after COVID. If the employee's head count is already at max, maybe, the store needs to start using the customer self order system. In the meantime, I will use drive through only. read more
