This is my daily 7-Eleven drop in. I get my energy drinks and snacks. The staff is amazing, always in great moods and polite. They are currently upgrading their parking area looks like it will turn out nicely. They do their best too keep up with the homelessness and begging issues. They are still polite and friendly even when they ask them to leave. The owner has even offered to give them food instead of steal. Heart of gold in my opinion. Clean store and friendly workers! It was a nice surprise to see items you don't usually see at other 7-11s.

Stopped by this morning on my way to work for snacks to get me through to lunch. It was about 7:45 a.m. so obviously during the morning rush/commute to work. The older guy with the gray hair was working and after I came in left the counter to go work in an aisle. As I was in a rush I let him know I was ready, and he makes joking comments to at least two other men in the store about being ready, but doesn't move to help me. I look over and he picks up two full pots of coffee and doesn't do anything with them, like he's just figuring out what to do. He says he'll be over to help me when he's done. I didn't have time to wait for whatever he was planning to do first and so left my items on the counter and went to work with no food. I've dealt with three other employees there, two women and a man, and they've all always been very friendly and helpful. This older man was arrogant and rude in ignoring me, a woman, and making comments to other customers about it, which was entirely uncalled for. Their slurpees are great, but I had never tried their pizza. I wasn't planning on ever trying their pizza, but then I found myself drinking alone at 2am. Pizza was just the company I needed. I know pizza from 7/11 isn't the best for me, but it was the most convenient at the time. 7/11 is trying to be as convenient as possible by never closing, but a convenient store can become too convenient. At a certain point 7/11 is doing more harm than good by letting individuals order pizza after 2am. No sober person has ever ordered a pizza from 7/11 after 2am. It would be nice if 7/11 started doing what's best for everyone rather than what's most convenient. I should start doing the same for myself as well. It may be more convenient for me to drink by myself so I don't have to deal with my sober self, but it's not what's best for me. When I do what's convenient in the moment, I tend to do more convenient things in the next moment, like ordering pizza from 7/11 because it's the only place open on doordash. One convenient moment turns into another convenient moment and then I'm just living a life full of convenient moments. It sounds easy, but not meaningful. That being said, 7/11 pizza is actually not that bad, but hopefully I never get it again because that means I'd most likely be drunk by myself, taking the convenient way out. read more

Best workers there, never a bad moment, despite the homeless people there . I do feel bad for the workers, but they never have a bad mood they are always nice towards customers. Been going there since I was in elementary school, nothing has changed it stays original. read more

Ugh I used to go here a lot since it was so close to my house but i dont appreciate false advertisements. The service is blah and the coffee is never hot. It's packed when schools out and late at night here gives me the creeps. So does the tall bald dude working grave yard. A plus: There is a redox kiosk and they are in a great location. read more

This 7-Eleven is my one to go to, for the following reasons: -Way faster than Safeway or anything -Really like helpful staff and other -Adequate parking -Fast service in case of emergency -Delicious Slurpee -Delicious Taquitos -Mouthwatering corn dog -They always thank me and tell me to come again -They have inviting facial expressions -Variety of beverage selection -They always card because I look under 40 -Their smiles contain good memories and my reflection -There is this super hot guy working there Highly recommend it. This was my go to place for slurpees in high school. Now, it's my go to place for the Red Box outside, and accoutrements for a night in inside. The place is clean, well stocked and the employees are always happy to be there, and helpful too. Pro-tip: don't turn your nose up at the apple fritters or other donuts in the case. read more

It's a 7-Eleven. What do you expect? It's run by a nice family. The place is pretty clean. The area is decent. It's the only 24-hour convenience store for 20 miles, if you don't count the 24-hour Safeway and the 24-hour Walmart. read more

As far as 7-Eleven's go, this one is pretty typical. Since this store is the closest to where I live, it's very convenient and of course, open 24/7. The only problems with is store are as follows: 1. Don't always expect the Slurpee machine to be working here. For several years, I have complained about this stores machine to corporate. It always seems to be out, or the Slurpee barrels are too "runny". This is especially the case during the afternoon, or on warm/hot days. 2. This store is not always kept clean, especially after hours and during the night. The staff also tends to want to "handle" your food items during check-out, which I find a bit unsanitary. Aside from that, this 7-Eleven is super-convenient and less than a mile from me, open around the clock. It's even easier to go to than Safeway, which is also open 24/7. read more

Every single time i have visited this location there has been terrible service, especially at night. i have also been short changed numerous times, so tonight i finally told the ridiculous clerk that yes, in fact, i do notice that my change is off. only then he offered my real change but i declined. on top of it he didnt give me a bag when my boyfriend and i had bought a bunch of stuff. i would Never say this, but your better off going to walmart and that says something. read more

One of the best 7-11 EVER...I have been coming to this 7-11 for often and I thought I would yelp about it today. The store is has mostly everything you need such as snacks, beer, coffee and even condoms (i think they have flavored condoms too). The store is owned by a family and they are great people to know. Especially tall buff tan guy. When I first started coming I remember he used to be skinny, Now it looks like he's been hitting the gym harder. Best 7-11 store out there.. In a good location and service is second to none! The owner is a humble man who always greets you with a smile and tries to get to know you, which is refreshing from a convenience store. With their new hot foods program, the need for a quick junk food fix is inevitable! Along with that, slurpees and coffee is always on point at this store! This really is for better and worse a case of "It's 7-Eleven, what do you expect?" Hilariously, someone mentioned back in a review from EIGHT years ago that they had been complaining for several years about the Slurpee machines often being out of order. Well guess what? It's still happening seemingly a decade later! I've noticed it happens most often on Sundays after a hot weekend, so my best guess is that it gets heavy use during the weekend and the thing either runs out of syrup or just gets run down, or something. And, it's almost always the Coke flavor Slurpee that is out of order. This is the only 7-11 in Morgan Hill, so it makes sense that it gets a pretty high amount of foot traffic. Yes, late night here is really weird. Weird people in the parking lot, and weird people in the store. Don't be surprised if some weird strung-out random customer takes ten years to get around to asking if you can give them a ride somewhere. The employees generally don't talk to you, and they're usually on the phone or a Bluetooth headset phone or something, and it often starts to seem like they're talking to you, but they never are. One guy in particular often seems pretty distracted, and one time double charged me and seemed confused about how to issue a refund. So instead I just said I'd go grab another of whatever it was I was charged twice for. It's usually not super clean. Expect sticky floors often. I've never eaten the hot food here, but it usually looks like it's been heat lamp-ed into dry leather. That's usually how you can gauge how hungry you are. If 7-11 pizza starts looking good, you must be very, very hungry. It's about "average" for a 7-11. I've walked into weirder, dirtier, scarier locations in San Jose over the years. read more
