One of the ladies asked if there was anything I was looking for, and I mentioned this was our first time coming. I asked what their best sellers were, and the ones I can remember were coffee cake, honey white bread, rustic Italian bread, cinnamon swirl, and banana bread. We settled on the cinnamon swirl, and since we were out of jelly, we got the strawberry apple rhubarb jam. The other lady sews wristlet purses and sells them for $5. There are solid colors and prints to choose from. I wish I had taken a picture of them, but we were running errands and on a mission. They are super cute, and I plan on getting one when I return because who wants to carry a purse all the time, especially if only running errands? She even mentioned that if a customer buys the material (I forgot the length/size), she will sew it for them. How awesome is that?! When we arrived home, we could not wait to try it! Situated in a strip mall and operating a very large dining room, the restaurant was very nice. Now you don't come here for the ambiance ... because it is just one large room ... but the food and staff make the trip worth the visit. Quick service from friendly waitstaff, a nice selection of items on the menu, and all-in-all your typical breakfast place. Make sure you are ready when you order, because the food comes out quickly. Interestingly, we never tried the waffles ... we'll have to make a point of trying them on our next visit. Recommended.
