I haven't been to Portland for awhile, so I didn't get the memo that Oregon passed a law earlier this year that allows me to pump my own gas. It took me several minutes to figure that out, after I pulled in with my rental car, and waited for an attendant that never came. Even so, the 7-11 gas station remains the most convenient fueling stop for me just before returning the car and flying home. The per-gallon price remains competitive for this area. read more

Worst 7-11 ever. The cashier pocketed $200 that a friend was depositing into their cashapp acct and denied the money was ever there. The next day the same cashier accused my friend of stealing "chocolate," no name, just chocolate. Then asked me to go through her bag. I refused. I gave him $11 to shut him up, he pocketed that too. Tonight he told me that the parking space I was in was reserved for employees. BS. Then why wasn't his car parked in one of the three spaces? read more

Stopped in for gas and did not get service. Nobody came to the pump. I am disabled and can't pump my own gas. After waiting 5-10 minutes my wife had to get out and pump it. I went in earlier tonight after a day of work. It was late at night. I was still in the correct hours for purchasing items like alcohol and lottery tickets. The worker told me as I had the items at the register that I could not purchase alcohol nor lottery tickets (the ones that scratch). He said it was too late. It sounded like he must have been referring to laws. He still sold some items but he told me that those ones were not typically allowed that late. I know the laws in the state I was in. It was not legally too late. It was before 2:30 in the morning. Oregon allows alcohol sales for carryout that is consumed off the property between 6:00 in the morning and 2:30 in the morning. Maybe this store stopped selling early for reasons he did not say but I knew he could not have told me everything because it did not make sense. I also had difficulty understanding him. He had a very noticeable accent. I went down the road immediately to a different 7-Eleven and was able to purchase everything I was looking for. Every time I go to this location I also see people outside the door with signs that ask for money or they directly ask. I also got gasoline here. Someone was shouting stuff with some of it being bad language. I do not like seeing this consistently. I do not think I will visit this location soon. read more

This owner is a rude idiot, that's surely driving this broken gross place and Presumably himself towards bankruptcy. I haven't ever seen such a toxic 7 eleven. No wonder the actual owner is working graveyards... I'll start from the beginning... i walk-in. This place is a mess. the hotdogs were shriveled burnt rocks, the store was unorganized, and messy with days old stock still not put away. i was here to get smokes, and refill my water cup with fresh ice and water but the whole fountain drink area was filthy... a thick sticky smelly glaze gunk all over the area. and the ice was coming out off-white, almost a beige color, so i said f*** that! and decided to keep perusing for something that wouldn't poison me. I noticed the clerk was MIA, I had been in this store for 10 minutes alone until finally (what I later found out was the owner) came out from somewhere in the back, looking disheveled. He stood with his arms crossed at the end of the isle I was in. Out of nowhere he starts yelling.confused I pull my headphones off asking if he is talking to me. He makes loud grunting indecipherable noises while waving his arms and 0ointing at me. From what I can gather I think hes saying I've been in the store too long and I'm just dumbfounded by the whole interaction. Maybe he thinks I stole something? He grabs the two items out of my hands and I tell him I haven't stolen anything and don't have any reason to treat me this way. I ask if he's the owner and he says yes and keeps calling me names. I just tell him that all I want is some smokes and then I'll happily leave forever and never come back. He starts yelling at me, "NO SMOKES NO SMOKES!" Like I don't deserve them Or something. I again say that he has no reason to be yelling at me. I even show him all my pockets in a feeble attempt to maybe calm him down. he pauses for a second realizing That I haven't stolen anything but says that I "WENT AROUND THE STORE TOO MUCH. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? NO SMOKES. NO SMOKES" HE then tells me to leave and I happily oblige. I'm still confused about the whole interaction. On my way out I tell him his place is disgusting and that he is in fact a delusional asshole.dude is bonkers. I ended up not purchasing anything and instead had this awful strange interaction. what an idiot. The place is filled with food poisoning and the owner is a confused asshat. No wonder he's alone working the graveyard. What a miserable guy yuck. Worst weirdest 711 I'll never go back to. read more

Today is the last time I shop here. All 7-11s should stop advertising they sell hot deli foods, because like this store that use to be okay, today either the cases are empty, have old items or one dried out stick of chicken nuggets. My recommendations are Jack's for fried chicken, Safeway's delis or the two Popeye's chicken locations on MLK. read more

The close proximity to Thrifty car rental is what brought us here as they have a gas station. Prices weren't Costco-cheap but it was less than paying Thrifty to fill it up. EXPERIENCE: It's pretty funny, actually. As I pulled up to the pumps, I noticed a sign that said "full service". Not wanting to pay more per gallon for gas, have my windows washed and fluids checked, I quickly drove into the next lane before the attendant could come to my window. WTF? This lane also said "full service". The gas station attendant kept following me around, the poor guy! My spouse said "He's is going to think you're crazy!" I said that I didn't care because I'm not paying more for gas than I have to. Not wanting to be late, I succumbed to having my gas pumped by someone. As I rolled down my window, I'm trying to think what we said back in the 80's when we had gas attendants in Hawaii. "Fill her up?" Yeah, that's it! I handed the guy my credit card and it comes back covered in oily/greasy fingerprints, yuck. My shiny new white titanium Apple Card had blemishes on it! Aside from that annoyance, the pump was out of paper so I had to go inside to get a receipt as I was warned by Thrifty to present a fuel receipt or be spanked. The store itself was like any other 7Eleven though minus all the good bento lunches we have in Hawaii. FACT: After coming home and telling my harrowing story to a friend who visits Portland a lot, turns out it's a state law that an attendant pumps your gas. Who'd of thought!? In stopping to put a couple of dollars of gas in a rented truck that I was returning to Home Depot, the "Fueling Technician" (Mike), refused to help me, saying that it was against regulations (That they can/ will only sell people gas if they're filling up). Even though he wasn't capable of selling me gas, he left the nozzle in my tank. I asked to speak with the manager (Mike claimed that his manager's name was "Jay"). After being left to his vices, Mike finally got his "Manager", whose name turned out to be Desaine. Immediately upon pointing out what I needed, and why I couldn't walk into the store (I am physically disabled, and have trouble walking).The manager began Verbally attacking me, calling me derogatory names, and literally saying that I was using my disability to get what I want. His behavior began spreading toward other customers that saw what he was doing to me, and began defending me. He was yelling at everyone to "Leave, get out of here". He was verbally abusive to me for no justifiable reason. AWFUL PLACE!! Neither of these people should represent any business! read more

Most of pumps didn't work or cone blocked. But that is okay that may base on short staffed. The CSR has a funky attitude and he gave me a lecture me with his childhood English stories. And the strange thing the pump stopped really quick and he explained we have fast pump! This gas station was a bit old and 90% pumps was old and didn't work; it didn't seem they will invest on high technology gas pump. I honestly never thought I would be writing this kind of a review about a gas station, a convenience store or really anything else on this level. This place has amazed me numerous times though. I have purchased gas here on several occasions and found it to be the cheapest anywhere nearby which is impressive since this area does not have very many options. Also, their employees are quite amazing! Every single person (and I have worked with many) has been very friendly and really gone above and beyond what they needed to do to help me. First of all, $2.57/gallon. Yeah. Unheard of in California. Secondly, closest gas station to the airport. Thirdly, $2.57/gallon. We pulled up, was the only vehicle there, was assisted by an attendant who swapped with his buddy, and were outta there in five minutes. Staff looked slightly sketch, but was friendly and efficient - also, at least they are working! Recommended stop to fill up a rental before heading to the airport. Peace out PDX. read more

Honestly I come here often, since I live in Vancouver we pay taxes so a short drive across the bridge is worth it. The people that work here are ALWAYS friendly and a few know me by face! Hey 7-11 now offers iced coffee in a BIG GULP FOR .99 ! Yes that's right! Oh and you can specialize it ANYWAY YOU WANT! Say what?!?! I don't know about most of you, but I need my coffee, and Starbucks is getting RIDICULOUS, having to pay for every little thing! Most 7-11 have similar flavors, hey it's coffee! And to be able to do it up your way with out racking up the price, good enough for me.. .99 verse $5 think of the money you save! Gas is also fairly cheap here! Right next to the airport, oh and YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUMP YOUR OWN GAS!! Great for those rainy days we in the Pacific NorthWest know so well! 7-Eleven - Today only FREE SMALL SLURPEE!! - Gas Stations Near Me - Portland, Oregon

Well they have a wide selection of items to eat etc. But the bathroom was quite dirty and the parking lot had alot of liter.

While I think Oregon's law about having an attendant pump your gas is a bit ridiculous in modern times but OK in my book if they need to provide more jobs, this was one case where I really feel like it should be repealed. I was on the way to the airport to drop off my rental car, and of course gas is the dead last stop before returning the car. I'm already running a quite late due to traffic I didn't anticipate, so I want to get in and out and on my way. The station was pretty busy, so I looked around and hoped there was an attendant nearby. Nope, nowhere to be seen initially. After about 5 minutes (which I spent getting all of my stuff together so I could drop the car and run) the only attendant (for a 12 to 16 pump operation this was totally inadequate) comes over and i have my credit card and everything ready for him, but he dismisses me and goes to another customer, which frustrated me a little. Meanwhile, someone else comes up to the gas station, and knowingly breaks the law by starting to pump his own gas. The attendant didn't notice it right away, so I'm debating about doing the same thing, but finally, rather than assist me, the attendant bangs on the pump and he and the other customer get into a fight (in front of the customers family), with the other customer dropping all sort of colorful language that would likely cause my review to not display on Yelp. The manager comes over and, rather than be professional, she cusses him out too. The attendant, now free to help me, takes my card, and, after mangling my zip code a few times (language barrier + shouting/match = incapable of understanding) and making me incredibly frustrated with Oregon's law, I'm finally gassing up. The manager and the other guy are still going at it, and finally the customer is told he's no longer welcome, with the manager getting in her last swear and the customer peeling out of the parking lot. Right after that the pump clicks and I'md one. And I wait for about 5 more minutes. Finally, another attendant pops up out of nowhere, apologizes, and I'm able to get the nozzle out of my tank and on my way. All in all, 15 minutes at a gas station that would have been 5 if I had been able to pump my own gas and not deal with the shouting match. I don't know if I'll be in Portland again any time soon, but I'll probably go to the Costco down the road for gas. read more

OK, here is where to get gas if returning a rental car - it looks all new, the price was GREAT at $2.39 and this was a nice big gas station. I loved it was next to Home Depot - I had time to kill before my airport pickup, and that and Michaels crafts store right there. Very convenient to the airport! I will be back. read more

The female cashier that was working on 8/26/2020 at approx 8:45 am was absolutely rude and she is a thief! Had I not needed to catch a flight I would have called the police. Now I have heard about the "national coin shortage" but never have I ever been refused my change! She literally said I am not giving you change because we have a shortage. I told her that o wanted my change and she said flat out NO. I said, you are not going to steal from me and still, no change. I wish I would have had her ring up one more thing and I would have walked out paying her $4 for $4.95 in merchandise stating that I do not have change. I'm pretty sure they will honor stealing my change but will not supply change if I am short. I am calling 7-11 today to complain and I am reaching out to the federal trade commission as well. I come to this station a lot first because it was close to work and second because I've never had a bad experience. I stopped in on 3/31/19 for gas and went in to buy a couple of items. The two men working weren't ones I recognized, but both were very friendly to me and the woman in front. One of the men, unfortunately I didn't think to ask his name, offered up his own $1 bill so I wouldn't have to break a $20. There was no reason for it, I had the funds, it was simply a good natured individual being kind. I don't know if he's a day manager or an employee, but the guy takes pride in his work and takes absolute care of his customers. Female attendant at the pump was pleasant and efficient. Supervisor inside the store needs a review of customer service. Suggested her re-merchandise an item, as there was a special price, but had other items on the same rack, she felt the need to put it back on the customer, and their supposed fault. When I mentioned the customer should always be right, she disagreed!! I have managed convenience store in my past. If she had said "we will change it" I would never had posted this! This is a quick, easy, and convenient location near the PDX airport. They have several pumps and a convenience store. The gas prices are middle of the road and the gas attendant was friendly. It was a perfect option to fill up my rental car. read more

This store is a joke. My brother works at Home Depot next door and we stopped in for gas at 3am, only signs posted were "FULL SERVICE" and we waited 5 min for someone to come out, there were two guy employees inside with absolutely no customers around. My brother went inside, and asked for someone to help with gas and the guy behind the counter just said, "Pump it yourself." They were just standing around eating chips. I ended up just leaving and went elsewhere. The service was terrible and this store doesn't deserve my money. read more

Super convenient location if you need to fill your tank before returning rental car. Everything else was an exit or two further away. What an AWFUL experience I just had and I will NEVER go back. I would rather push my car across the bridge than go here. I was told because I wasn't filling up I had to pay inside. Went in and paid, came out and waited for attendant since OR laws prohibit customers to pump their own gas. He came over and told me I already got my gas. He had me start my car which still showed low fuel light and no gas to which he responded he needed to check my fuel sensor because I already got my gas. He then wanted to run my card at the pump. I showed him the receipt showing I paid inside and it was for that pump. I asked him directly "are you telling me you put gas in this vehicle?" To which he said, "yes Ma'am I did." I always use this chain and have never had a problem. At this location there are two specific young men who are terrible. One is a gas attendant outside who is always swearing and acting very unprofessional, talking about how much he dislikes his job. The other one is a male who works inside as a cashier who told me today that he used to live in Washington but moved to Portland because he didn't like "the old farts and the gays." I just tried getting a car wash here with my Ford Escape. The car wash broke down halfway through the wash leaving my truck covered with soap bubbles, so I had to unload my kids and go inside to get the manager to fix it. She bangs on the machine a couple times and gets a new code (it looks like this happens a lot). Half way through the second, wash it breaks down again. I have to unload my kids again to go inside. I said, "It didn't work again, I need to get a refund." She told me that the second code was my refund and that she wouldn't refund my $8 for the car wash that didn't work. What? It still didn't work. When I said there's no way that I'm going to pay for a car wash that didn't work and that my truck is covered with soap bubbles, she literally started yelling at me across the store in front of 4 other customers and my kids. This is the manager of the whole store. Extremely unprofessional behavior. Definitely avoid this place. read more
