Jubitz Truck Stop is wildly entertaining! I can't believe I've never been here, given that I've lived in Portland most of my adult life! This north Portland commercial complex has something for everyone, and I highly suggest stopping by to check it out. First and foremost, this is a truck stop with all of the ammenities one would expect to find in such a place. There is a convenience store, laundry facilities, showers and overnight accomodations. But this truck stop takes things to the next level. Visitors will also find a movie theater, an oil bar with seating a great customer service, a massage parlor with a wide variety of modalities and services offered, a large family-style eatery, as well as a lounge and entertainment space that hosts well-known musical acts touring the country. Jubitz has been around for a very long time, in various iterations, and it seems to only get better with age. The overall scope of this place is remarkable. The restaurant is massive, the lounge is as well, and the big names that perform here are pretty impressive! Went and saw a movie with my wife. Clean and nice. I was also able to buy a breakfast sandwich and watch the movie. Totally worth it.

Normally I would give jubitz a good review except the security that likes to drive around and his van the older gentleman and only him likes to harass me every single time that I come to this truck stop every single time without fail. I would very much appreciate if he would not talk to me or come near me when I come to this establishment because I am a paying customer and I spend a lot of money here if he comes up to me again I will call the authorities. read more

I am very grateful for this truck stop; it is a favorite whenever we are in the area. This location offers a wide variety of convenient amenities! There is a large parking area with designated spaces, and bobtail parking is also available. One building houses a store, showers, and a deli. Across the parking lot are a hotel, restaurant, bar and lounge, laundromat, post office, market, movie theater, and more. A repair shop is conveniently located across the street. Everything is well-maintained, organized, and clean. Security personnel diligently patrol the parking areas and buildings. The staff we encountered were pleasant. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant and lounge. We received excellent service as well. read more

It's food is good but options in Portland are plentiful. For OTR drivers it's fantastic. Honestly I'm not sure how a bill for 2 people ended up being $100. The beef stew tasted like the beef came out of a can of dog food. The pork chops my mother had ordered were complete gristle. She kept taking another bite thinking it was just that piece or just that one pork chop but it ended up being both of them all the way through complete gristle. The sides were better than the main dishes to be honest. The gravy was pretty spicy so that was kinda weird as well. Our server was super nice but maybe it's the layout of the place or something it felt like I hardly saw her. Girl at the counter at the inn was pretty snarky about my situation (needing to sleep in the car for costs). Plus, there is no parking overnight for normal vehicles when every other truck stop in oregon welcomes all kinds of tired drivers---truck or normal vehicles. They don't even make you pay typically, this is the only place that not only wouldn't take my money, but was rude about it as well! Kind of strange IMO. read more

Most employees are great and friendly. The ones that stand out are: Zach at the pumps always has a smile and it's ready to assist you. He is always very friendly, polite and respectful. It shows he enjoys his work and is making Jubitz look it's best. Germaine on the other hand has his moments. Sometimes he is polite and respectful. However most of the time he is not. I have told him several times not to call me sir and provided him my name. He recently was rude to my friend on 3/15/2025 around 00:00 am. My friend did not have his bike lock and there were several suspicious people outside. He attempted to let security know, who was in their van. The window was partially down. However my friend was sound asleep and was unable to wake him. He a telling at him and knocking on the window. My friend then went in to let Germaine know. However Germaine was very assertive and stated that security was not asleep and was on the radio. He then told my friend that my friend was not from here and that he was. He stated that there was never trouble at Jubitz, especially while he was working. Security... There are are good ones, the okay ones and those that I wonder why they are working at Jubitz. Even more, why are they even working or certified in the security field. There was one security guard that was more assertive of getting a person's name and identification then was willing to help him up off the ice. Let it be known I was the one that had requested security for the elderly gentleman. I had seen the gentleman slip on the ice and was unable to get up. Me myself am handicap and could not help the gentleman up. And it should be known that I was a Firefighter, Medic and Police Officer for 20 years. Helping a person is more important than finding out who they are. Ths is especially true if the medical situation could result in a more serious matter or even worse...death. Don't let this review keep you from visiting Jubitz for your first time or even multiple times. I am still going and supporting them. I just document the very good employees and the bad ones; so that others are aware of them. This is not my first review. Lots of parking for a tired over-the-road driver in an area with few good options. Diner, and bar and grill both have very good food and staff that are professional and friendly. I'm guessing that local folks come here quite a bit for live music and food. Fuel and DEF lanes easy in and out. Store has all the essentials; service bays onsite and Blue Beacon adjacent. Passing through with a touring band we pulled our tour bus into this truck stop to grab 5 showers and fuel. On arriving we were informed that "only cdl drivers were allowed to pay to use their showers". For a place that makes their money off of people who work on the road they sure seem to have bizarre business practices. I'll happily just drive to a pilot or flying J instead of sending any of my busses to this place. read more

Food isn't great, and it's priced too high. Employees are hit and miss but mostly miss. Slow service, sometimes very rude for no reason, and there is a lot of theft there. My burger tonight in the Jake Brake Deli was better and cheaper than the Pondo burger in the bar last night. There is a trucker lounge up stairs with several large leather comfortable chairs, the showers are downstairs and are clean. Some even have a bathtub in them, which is nice when you've been on the road for a while. Across the way is the hotel and theatre that's shows older movies. All in all this is a pretty nice property to stop at. However everything here is more expensive. Bernie's boot repair has fixed several pair of my shoes and boots, Cosmos barber shop is awesome, he can do a hell of a job on a beard! 24 hour laundry. I'm sure I'm missing something.... read more

Seriously disappointing! I come to Portland often and usually always eat here at least once,well never again! The food is usually ok with a fair price! Apparently that's gone the way of the Dodo! Had a club sandwich ($16.00!), a house salad and two soft drinks,after tip $36.60!. They have doubled their prices since my last visit! The service was slow! Took my order,eventually got drinks and then awhile later finally received food then the bill,was never asked if we needed anything else! Decent truck stop nice if you just need a place to sleep I guess, very overpriced a BLT for 9.50 no drink no fries the gas station sandwiches were like 7 bucks for small sandwich. The "Fresh Deli" had the meat not covered and the veggies uncovered and everything looked old. Gotta watch out for the homeless around here too. Bathrooms not bad. Best truck stop around!!! Has everything!!! My favorite is the Ponderosa lounge. They have live music all the time, great food, and line dancing lessons. We stay in the hotel all the time, make sure to get the newer part of the hotel. The staff is so nice. Movie theater, dog wash, truck wash, lots of spots, and even a boot repair. I brought my Lanes in on a Friday night and he resoled them in a jiffy for $60 right before he closed. They have a great restaurant where kids under a certain age eat free, and they stay open late for a good hearty meal. Last night I got a veggie omelette and let my husband have the pancakes that came with it and they were huge!!!! All great things to say about this awesome, wonderful place for truckers and locals!! read more

I have ibs (irritable bowl syndrome) and use the bathroom mind you there is two stalls one in which is empty the entire time I was in the bathroom. After about 4 or 5 min after I'm desperately trying to get the pain in my stomach to go away and relieve myself the employees came in turned the light off said I was in the bathroom too long. I said I'm using the bathroom and they said other ppl need to use it and your making it so they can't. THERE IS TWO STALLS IM ONLY USING ONE!! so I'm rushed out halfway done trying to clean up what bit mess you got to come out. Needless to say I still have shit on my self and couldn't even wash my hands!!GROSS!!! I've always liked Jubitz. As a driver and a N Portland resident it's been a standby when needed. However now they've gone to fleecing customers. multiple times I've come in bought items including sodas like 2 for 3.33 or similar. The last 3 times they've been rung up at full price and cost me time and frustration as each cashier clumsily tried to fix it. I've also had other drivers tell me the same thing has happened to them in the Travel center by the truck fuel islands. We work hard for our pay and even though it is only a buck here and buck there it adds up and the fact that management has not fixed the issue tells me they don't care. read more

We were given a shower key this morning that did not have the number written clearly on it. We did not get a receipt, as we assumed the cashier taking our truck keys would be enough. We thought the key said 4 at first, but it wouldn't open that shower, so we tried 11, which DID WORK. Chris took his shower, and as soon as I got in the shower, security was pounding on our door demanding we come out because 1. That shower hasn't been in service 'for a long time' and 2. ACCUSED US OF NOT PAYING quite adamantly. Please tell me, how the hell would we have even gotten a shower key and two sets of towels otherwise? What, did they think we hopped the counter, stole the key and towels, and LEFT OUR GOD DAMN TRUCK KEYS HANGING UP BEHIND THE FUCKING COUNTER?!?! Absolutely ridiculous!! Skip this place. You need a home equity line to eat here. For a $25 burger one would expect it to be out of this world. It's not! Cajun Pasta $24.50 only had 6 shrimp. For $24.50 I expect my plate to be swimming in frozen shrimp. Not only is this place trying to get even for Covid they are screwing the loyal truck drivers that frequent this place. Apparently Jubitz holds truck drivers ( their unfortunate captive customer base ) in disdain. Jubitz sees truck drivers as fat hogs they can stick their proverbial knives in. Denny's while not cheap either is considerably less expensive and the food is of better quality. Parking at 0300 is a loss here. None available, even reserved is full. 0530-0700 there is usually a mass exodus though. The restrooms are clean, cashiers pleasant. They have many of the usual amenities available for sale. Specialty cold coffees ( NITRO) are on tap. They also have hot espresso style coffees available. They do have a grill in the back, and they offer a variety of items for breakfast and lunch. Many of these items unfortunately; are deep-fried. They do have showers, although they are said to be timed. Some say they are clean, others complain that they have to take their towels to the front after their showers. Free showers, I may understand, but if you are paying for a service, then they would be lacking. They do have a Drivers Lounge upstairs; a very long set of stairs, if you have an injury. 0500-2200 Hours. read more
