Just got home after five days in Indian Shores. We've been going there every summer for the last 3 years. For reasons I cannot explain, this was our first time visiting Kenny's Korner. We sat at the "bar" for breakfast and shared the country fried steak and gravy with home fries (and scrambled eggs). It's difficult to mess up a scrambled egg, and they didn't. The home fries were very yummy and crispy (which made the boyfriend super happy). The star of the show was the country fried steak and gravy .... Omg .... So tasty!!! So tasty, in fact, that in spite of many other breakfast options in the area, we chose to go there again the next day. This time we ordered the biscuits and gravy (w scrambled eggs and home fries again) and shared that, as well. That gravy is SO GOOD. We were a little surprised that this entree was only one biscuit (instead of 2, like we're used to), and it didn't have as much gravy as the breakfast from the day before. But it was still super delicious. We could've asked for more gravy, but we didn't, and that's on us. Hopefully we go to the beach again next year. If we do, no question, Kenny's Korner will be one of our stops. In addition to delicious breakfast, the staff was super friendly, which should never be taken for granted. read more

I had such a great experience at Kenny's! Stacy, our server, was incredibly sweet and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down. The food was amazing, my omelette was absolutely delicious, and both my best friend and my boyfriend really enjoyed their meals too. We also got the cutest mimosas, which were such a fun touch. All of their servers are extremely friendly and this place always has fast service. I typically get breakfast but this time I tried the Reuben and it was amazing and the fries were perfect. Home fries were good too...It was busy around 10am, but got less busy about a half hour later....Pro Tip: don't wait outside the door if people are standing there....Go inside and there is a sign-in sheet....Also l, if you're by yourself they have single seating at the bar...That might help you get around any waiting list...It did me. read more

5 stars!!!!! Totally enjoyed this little "KORNER" super cute and vibes all around. Treated myself to some breakfast and it did not disappoint. Ordered the Huddle Bowl and it was excellent. Potatoes were seasoned and not just with salt and pepper. Eggs were cooked to my liking as well done is what I prefer, I asked for light cheese and the sausage gravy on the side instead of on top. The sausage gravy was very good as my concern is usually not cooking the flour taste out of the gravy. But they did their thang! Great brunch today with family. Picked up my niece and this was nearby and selected by her. We were greeted and seated as we arrived. I selected the veggie omelette with the home fried potatoes. My mom had pancakes with eggs and my niece selected a lunch wrap with fries. Great atmosphere while we caught up and enjoyed each other's company (I am in from out of state). I just finished a road trip a weeks back and stopped at all sorts of roadside food shacks and wanted to get back out and find another roadside food joint. I remember coming here with a friend for breakfast several years ago so I thought I would give lunch a try. Hopped in my car (AKA, Fritz) put the top down and made my way up Gulf BLVD. For a Saturday, the traffic was mild and before I knew it I was in Redington Shores and found an open spot on the side of the building. As I entered I could see they had counter seating, when solo I like the counter. Already knew what I wanted, cheeseburger LTO and fries. Now what to drink, also like trying new local brews as well, never had a Reef Donkey APA. American Pale Ale, it was tasty. Waited a bit for my burger, I was no hurry, we were having a heat wave after all. Sipping on my APA and burger and fries arrived, well presented. It came with steak fries, I like those. Burger toppings were fresh, however, after inspecting the burger I could see it was a pre-frozen commercial patty. I was really expecting a smash type burger or at least a hand patty-ed, it was cooked the way I like it though. Fries were great, burger was good and I will have another Reef Donkey at a future stop. I would like to have given it 3.5 but there are no half stars, it just wasn't a four. Couldn't get the commercial patty out of head, not to say it was bad, just expecting more home made. Well what can I say about Kenny's. Went in for breakfast on a Sunday, we got in before the rush. We ordered Pancakes, Big Breakfast, Veggie Omelette 3 coffees and an orange juice almost $60!. The food was really good (except the grits, which were too runny for me) and the service was very good. She did tell us about the $0.50 egg surcharge but when we got the bill, the toast we ordered (that came with our meal btw) was an additional $1! So a little surprised when the bill came but overall a nice spot for breakfast, if you can beat the rush. read more

Recently they've advertised a new Chéf and expanded business hours adding dinner options to their previous breakfast & lunch menu of decades so we decided to stop in and give them a try to see what all the "Fuss" was about. We stopped mid-afternoon for an early dinner with two orders of Taco's. 1 order of Blackened Mahi and 1 of blackened Shrimp, each coming with a side of homemade "Curley" potatoes. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious and the service was friendly & attentive! We enjoyed the meal and reading many local recommendations that we decided to try them for our Thanksgiving Holiday as we were a small group and wanting to alleviate cooking. SO GLAD that we did as our Holiday Feast was absolutely delicious getting 3 orders of Prime Rib with Garlic Mashed and Veggies with a Sweet Potater Soufflé and 1 order of Black Grouper blackened with Wild Rice & Veggies. Everything was great! Loved everything we were given! Their service is definitely above average as they are definitely trying to develop a strong reputation for delicious food with a aesthetically appealing look! Where to start... we went to this place with high hopes for a cute local brunch place on vacation and boy were we disappointed. First of all, the door to the kitchen is wide open allowing you to see all that goes on back there. The avocado toast uses pre-mashed avocado piped out by a bag and the chef had no gloves on when dealing with plating the food, especially with fruit. Every piece of toast was soggy and little did we know that every egg you order had a 50 cent up charge, but the servers will not tell you that ahead of time and that surely adds up in the end! One of my favorite places to dine in FL. Amazing service, breakfast and dinner are 10/10!! Also, handicap accessible! I got the pasta primavera, my mom got the spicy mussel pasta dish and my dad got the make it your way burger. My pasta had fresh veggies cooked to perfection and came out HOT! My mom's pasta was FILLED with mussels and the perfect amount of spicy (our server said she could alter heat if needed). My dad's burger was exactly how he asked, well done and flavorful! Our server quickly got a ramp, held the door open, ensured we entered and exited safely, even supported my mom as we declined the ramp. I've been coming to the beach for years and never tried this place. In my opinion, tastiest breakfast on the beach and probably the most reasonable. Our waitress Lisa was great. Crab cake Benedict was one of the best we have ever had and under $15. Biscuits and gravy was also excellent and gravy was full of chopped up sausage. Home fries are real and cooked just right with a paprika sprinkle that gives them a unique flavor. Busy place, so had to wait to get a table and for the food to come, but worth the wait.
