I have been trading with this Chevron station for many years. There are so many great aspects of…read morethis business to mention; friendly staff, touchless car wash, large Extra Mile Store selection, opened 24 hours. I recently went in to purchase (wing and a prayer) lottery tickets like I occasionally do. Since they are a Placer County business and it is my regular place, I always go there so that when I win (someday) the business will benefit as well! It had been a long week and a long work day and I was not paying my usual, careful, OCD self attention. I purchased, left money and walked out. I was in my car getting ready to leave when the manager, Charity, came out and approached me. Jacob (who was very nice) was assisting me inside and Charity had come over to assist him. When I left I walked out without change (a decent amount). Together Charity (along with Jacob) ensured I got that sorted before I left. I want to commend both Charity & Jacob who are already friendly, polite and helpful. They are also, clearly, honest as the day is long. This was one of those moments in life which helped reinforce the goodness of people. President Ronald Reagan said, "I know in my heart that man is good, and that what is right will always eventually triumph, and there is purpose and worth to each and every life." This location has everything you need like any other one, but the bathroom is nice, the snacks have unique treats from different cultures, and there's a milkshake machine, coffee, slushee, all in one corner. I've been frequently walking to and from my house, and always come by as a regular from 2021, so I like that it's always clean and organized each and every time I come by. This location features a touchless car wash, which offers the unlimited car wash subscription on their PM app. There's an ATM inside too if you so need for handy situations. I adore the lime green branding color and the stylish signs they have inside, it feels really cozy and straightforward. The workers are also lovely each time too, as I like making small talk. They help spot me and my sister when we were counting our pennies, and I really appreciated that. They have a loyalty program too but I have yet to use it - Hopefully soon! Thank you, Power Market! I am always at this 7/11 picking up my clients smokes. The person I am used to seeing here the most is Sonny. Everyone who works here will greet you as you walk in, but Sonny is the one I talk with the most. He will ask me how my day is going and how work is. He always has a smile on his face and seems ready to help with whatever is needed. This store stays pretty clean and if there is an accidental spill, which usually happens near the slurpee machines, they mop it up quickly. The other day, Sonny sold me on some spicy Buffalo chicken wings. There were 10 of them and were good size. I believe it was $8+tax for those 10 wings. You can use your phone number if you are part of the loyalty club... I have chosen not to use the loyalty program anymore because of another location (Sunset & Taylor in Rocklin), but using the loyalty program gets you points to earn free items towards future purchases. These were mostly the drums, although I am a fan of the flats. After I payed, he put them into a sturdy box.. I mention the box because when I got into the car, I didn't have to worry about the Buffalo wings sauce seeping through and getting on the passenger seat. When I got to my clients, I took my first bite of the only flat in there... and they were hot, juicy, and pretty delicious. I would compare them to the Tyson brand you can buy at grocery stores. "i don't even know where we're going...yeah...sure...i guess." so then we get there. i park the car in a gas stall. boom. i hop out. bam. i go press myself against her window. she asks me what i'm doing. "aren't you excited?!?!?" "i still don't know where we're going." she thinks we're just gassing up for a road trip or something. nope. boom "honey we're visiting the exxon station from my bucket list!!!" vera leans into the car door and covers her face with her hand which i'm guessing is because she was crying with joy because dude. it was pretty emotional being there in the flesh for the first time. then vera sighed something like, "how did i wind up marrying her..." to herself and that was nice i thought because i guess that means i really did a good job surprising her. then i saw they offered coffee for customers who pay over $20 and like dude that's dope as frick so i gassed up the car and got coffee. bam. i surprised vera with it. we parked after gassing up because we just wanted to enjoy the place. the atmosphere was super dope. the staff are a total cool kids club. i definitely want to go back but not too often because like disneyland if you go too often the magic might go away. exxon off douglas is dope as frick and definitely worth putting on your destination bucket list. Only upon taking her up on it did she acknowledge she wasn't willing to do it. We found another station that filled our tanks for $3.10 per gallon. To add insult to injury she told us the only other place to get propane was miles away in Douglas. We might be from out of town, but higher IQ than you. Less than 2 miles away found friendly service and great pricing.

After waiting about five minutes, he finally came outside, took one look at the tank, threw his hand up dismissively, and said he couldn't do it--then just walked away without explaining why. I followed him back inside to ask what the issue was, and he said the tank was too small and his equipment had too much pressure. That might be a valid reason, but the way he handled it was extremely rude and dismissive. No explanation up front, no professionalism, just a lousy attitude. I won't be coming back
