I have been visiting this Starbucks location every Saturday and Sunday for the past six months. I have never had an issue with an order and the staff is always very pleasant especially at five in the morning which is not as common as one would think. I am thankful that they are one of the locations that knows how to make a superb undertow. I want to especially thank Scott for always being so upbeat and pleasant to see in the morning and he is always a nice start to my 12 hour shift. read more

I like this location on Cavitt. Its close to home and for the most part the service is exceptionally good. No problem with getting the drink I'm craving. Today, however, the drink of course is as good as always. The exception to the service today was slow in getting to the window and my 6.45 drink turned out to be 8.45. They gave themselves a tip without my entering any amount for the tip. Bad move ladies. Not sure if I want to go through drive thru again or walk in or go to the Starbucks across the street. The workers are nice. It's just always really dirty there's always stuff all over the floors and kind of smells inside and the tables feel gross because the finish has come off so it always feels sticky. Stick to the drive through! read more

My drink was not hot, and not filled all the way to top so it was way too sugary. The bathroom I was in was disgusting. They started cleaning an hour and a half early before they closed. The employee was sweeping around us so i couldn't have a conversation with my friend. I feel it's rude to be sweeping around customers. I will not be coming back to this location. read more

Oh, Starbucks. Despite my aversion to your corporate coffee takeover of seemingly every street corner in the universe, your convenience and reliable wifi keep me coming back. As your locations go, this is one of the nicest, due in part to its location in a spotless suburb. With a few exceptions, I very much liked my experience here. I was looking for a caffeine fix and a place to get some work done before an event later that evening. There aren't a lot of convenient coffee shops in the area and Starbucks was the closest. The "baristas" were friendly, the coffee what you'd expect. There wasn't a lot of room to sit, even with the place mostly empty. This location seems to cater more to the drive-thru customers than anything. This being an upscale suburb I was also surprised to get bugged for change by two homeless men while sitting outside. Unacceptable wait time in drive through. Employee urgency to be attentative to the consumer is non existent. Arrived after thier open time and drive through microphoneorder station not working. Had to pull forward to window where car in front of me sat for at least 5 minutes to recieve a cup of coffee and on small bag with food. I pulled forward and sa t for 2 minutes with no acknowledgment from staff. No other customers just me. I assumed after the 2 minutes with not even a well be with you in a few, but rather a casual attitude of we will be there when we feel like it I left. This used to be a regular stop for convenience and thier consistency for me. Not any more. read more

Have used this Starbucks 3 times in the last 2 weeks and had a rough experience 3/3 times. First time we visited I asked for a decaf caramel frappe. The order taker asked if I wanted decaf espresso or another cream version - fine. But I AM used to other Starbucks not giving me an option and just handling it which I prefer, I didn't realize I even had an option to customize it until this location offered. All it did was confuse me. Once we got to the window I was handed an iced decaf coffee. The girl at the window had me repeat "tall decaf caramel frappe" literally 3 times as if it wasn't registering to her... then asked me to pull around up front to wait for it. Second time my husband went inside because of a long line and they had to remake my drink 3 times... and when he brought my drink out to me he said our two food items weren't ready yet. He was not happy. 3rd time they asked me again about how I wanted my frappe decaf - the drink they handed me was a disgrace. I've never had a more sloppy crappy tasting $5 drink in my life. That's what's pictured here. It was double cupped because whoever poured the espresso spilled it all over the outside of it - the caramel was drizzled all over the lid of it, and it was so separated at the moment they handed it to me that it was shocking. It was essentially a liquid espresso shot on the bottom, and foam the rest of the way up. I also asked for no whip as you can see on the label and it still came with whip. Used to be the best. Last Sunday waited inside for thirty minutes, no exaggeration, for a drink. Ended up getting my money refunded by Starbucks. Tried again today. Ordered a drink and food item. Food item came out immediately. Waited ten more minutes for my iced drink (not blended or anything fancy) and finally asked if they had it. They said no!! Typically, I come to this location as a drive thru customer, but today I decided on a whim to come inside. I'm SO glad I did! After a rough start to my morning, all I wanted was something caffeinated and sugary-- not hard to find at Starbucks. I have a few go-to drinks, however I went with the energy of my chaotic day and ordered a seasonal frapuccino I'd never had nor heard of before. Oops! That was 100% my poor choice and for the first time ever as a Starbucks customer, I discovered a drink that I genuinely did not like. (I won't name the drink because this was just my own opinion and everyone should experiment for themselves, nobody is going to like the same flavors). Anyways, the golden part is what happened next! I felt a little embarrassed about coming back to the counter, but I asked the barista at the register if I could buy a different drink because the one I chose just wasn't my jam. She was so kind about it, she didn't make me feel any type of way about changing my mind, and had the crew on the coffee side make a new drink for me without hesitation. I've worked in customer service & food service before and I know how frustrating it can be for a store to bite the cost of a customer making poor choices/not knowing their own pallet. So I was fully prepared to pay for my re-make, it wasn't even a question for me, I felt it was my responsibility to buy another drink because I wanted to ditch my original choice. However, the awesome cashier insisted that it was okay and that I didn't need to pay for my remake. She was so patient and understanding and said it with a smile!! I come to this location quite frequently and every single time they seem to do amazing. They always have a long line for the drive thru but it never takes more than 10 minutes. Although this isn't the closest Starbucks to my office, it is the closest one with a drive through. They're always swift in delivering the consistent refreshment one would expect from a huge corporate business, which seems to be almost on every corner. This happens to be one of my favorite locations in Roseville as well, which I visit frequently. The baristas are always helpful, friendly and patient. The service has always been great here. They've even been able to accommodate large gift card order requests, while other Starbucks do not... When you need a couple hundred gift cards, standing and waiting around for 45-60 mins, while watching the huge line build up behind you, taking one of the two registers they have available, as they scan each card individually is probably the last thing on everyone's mind of what they see their experience being during a peak coffee rush time. They were able to accommodate, jump start the process, saving me almost half an hour, every time! Aside from that, coffee is as you'd expect it to be, fresh, hot, cold and flavorful, made to order. They do have some seating space inside, which is plentiful, even during a busy time. Consistency is definitely a key to my coffee filled heart, where other locations you have to flip a coin, to see which side it lands on and whether your espresso shots are going to be made right or not, this place has gotten it right every time. read more

I come here pretty often on my lunch break. This Starbucks has a drive-thru. The service is always good here. Avoid coming at noon on a weekday, it's extremely crowded and noisy. I do applaud this location, considering how busy it was and with drive-thru orders they are really quick. I maybe waited five minutes for my grande white mocha. They are also pretty good about getting your order correct. My only complaint about this location is the lack of pretty merchandise. This Starbucks doesn't carry any of the cutesy cups or anything. I often find myself splurging on some sort of pink glittery or flowery tumbler when I go to Starbucks(if they have them). read more

This is the one location that is truly on my way to the office from my home without putting myself out of the path. They are a drive thru service- however I have always used the mobile ordering. The staff is diligent and quick and appear to be friendly. My mobile order has always been ready when I have arrived so I am often times in and out of there quickly. First off, this location gets an extra star for having a drive-thru.. How convenient is that?! 2nd, I am fortunate enough that during work days my super-cool employers pay for me to hit Starbucks to get myself a tasty treat , so I am at the Starbucks at least 4 days a week. There's often not a very long wait but if there is they are super apologetic and will occasionally even throw a free drink your way for the wait. The employees here are always very friendly, and I noticed this location doesn't tend to run out of things like a lot of the other high-traffic Starbuck locations do. The employees here genuinely seem to like their jobs, which shows. I have popped in a time or two to use the restroom, this location has nice upgrades from having been maybe recently remodeled? Bathrooms and sitting area are always very clean. It's not a super big store, but they do a good job. read more

I have been coming to this location for years and literally buy minimum of two coffees a day,sometimes 9 every single day...I am a business owner myself. I always admired the staff at this location, especially Kevin, Nick, and the rest the team you guys are the best ..This is why, I always choose this location over many. But lately it seems like a training facility, especially on the weekends...With a slew of new employees, consistently making my drink wrong....i request minor modifications. very simple request, Such as extra ice... WOW!!! Mainly on the weekends it's always wrong... Keep in mind I am not a Yelper... I choose several places I like to go to and stick with them forever. My reason for a review today, is to let management know, I don't mind that you hire and train new employees.. especially on weekends, I totally get it. But when you hire knew employees that have an aggressive attitude and is very rude to customers especially to customers that come daily, I have a problem. Probably one of the worst Starbucks in the area, parking lot is horrible, the drive-thru line of cars is normally pretty obnoxious, blocking cars in their parking spaces and the roadway. SB chose to close Auburn-Folsom, so now everyone piles into this one apparently - I tried twice, awful. I'm done. Fortunately, I roast my own coffee as well, never cared for Starbucks, tastes rancid compared to fresh. I'll miss their mochas, but just not worth the headache. read more

This location has the weirdest temperature control issues - the AC is blasting in the winter, and now when the summer heat is on the AC doesn't even feel like it has been turned on. Ah - is it possible that they do this on purpose, to encourage the purchase of hot drinks during the winter, and cold drinks during the summer????? Starbucks, I'm on to ya!! Otherwise this place is ok. The large wooden table is never clean so don't put anything on it that you won't want to peel off later, due to the stickiness. Bathrooms are usually clean. It seems like every time I ask for LIGHT ICE, I seem to get extra ice??? So now I'm paying for trenta cup that's halfway filled with ice and low on my refresher. So I get pissed and tell them umm excuse me I asked for light ice not extra ice. If you guys want to avoid me "inconveniencing" you guys when you're busy just make my drink right in the first place. Today 4/29/2018 I ordered peppermint tea the lady with very short hair helped me. I asked her to change the tall cup to grande cause the tall cup was too small for tea. so she dumped the tea bag in grande cup and didn't bother to fill it up with hot water since its grande . I go sit at the table and open the tea was half a cup . I went up to their counter and I asked a gentleman to fill it up with hot water and i looked at the lady with short hair i could have said something she seems like she didn't want to help me to begin with. This Starbucks is in a good location. They have a fast staff and the usual Starbucks drinks and snacks. I am not the type who orders the coffee drinks with latte gobble d goop however. I usually have a simple green tea (which does come way too hot however) or one of the pre made juice drinks. Its a post yoga thing. I see many people come and go from here with huge drinks covered in whipped cream. Just not my thing. I like the healthy small plates they offer now. They seem pretty fresh and just about the right amount after class. I whish they had more outdoor seating and that the parking lot was not so close to the seats, even though there is a rail. It would be nice to have a walk way with some plants or small trees. That is just a wish because I know it would be like moving a mountain to do that. But Starbucks does come in handy and are pretty reliable. read more

This starbucks used to be the death of me, especially going to the drive thru. My orders were always wrong. Sweetened iced tea, on countless accounts I've gotten it unsweetened. 3 times my Iced coffee came with coffee grit. Ewww! I would order iced green tea With LEMONADE, and on too many accounts it came without lemonade. Once it came as a iced green tea latte. Hmmm like really? I ordered that. I don't think so. This place is ridiculous. I go here because it is just down the street from my house, but I will NEVER go here again, and here's why: I went through the drive through yesterday afternoon to get a seasonal item, grande, pumpkin, soy, chai latte. Having previously worked at Starbucks as a lead, I assume it's made exactly like the chai lattes (chai syrup and milk) with a splash of pumpkin flavored syrup. Literally one of the easiest things to make on thier menu. I'd also like to point out that I always state the correct order for writing it down on the cup. Always. When I got to the window, I asked before even taking a sip if it was soy, because I am neurotic about stating my soy needs, and making sure I get said soy, as I am horrifically lactose intolerant. Well, chickie at the window didn't make it with soy. No problem. I'll just wait for another. She hands me my soy beverage, and I am off. When it finally cools down enough, I am nearly home, take a sip, and discover it's just regular chai, and mostly foam. Sweet! I'm so glad I paid extra for a carelessly made, mediocre chai tea with cup half full of foam. Totally worth the 6 bucks. Today, I sent my husband to try again, and he came back with a pumpkin latte. My stomach is killing me after two small sips, so I am assuming it was dairy. Great. Thanks guys. Really. I don't know if you guys are all high or not, but is it REALLY that difficult to put pumpkin syrup, chai syrup, and steamed soy milk in a cup? What part of pumpkin, SOY, CHAI latte is so hard to understand?! After yesterdays experience, I am a little more pissed than I should be, but the incompetence is astounding. I sent my husband back, and he comes back with the SAME DRINK as before. Pumpkin spice latte. No chai. Who the hell knows if it's soy. It is sitting on my coffee table, growing cold, laughing at my suffering, and no, the irony of that statement is not lost on me. I hate writing bad reviews, buy you guys earned this one. After trying to order an amazingly simple, correctly made drink, FOUR TIMES in less than 24 hours, you need to be called out. Not to mention the whole soy/dairy carelessness, losing my cup in the morning rush multiple times, giving me the wrong food, it's endless. I know you are a newer location, but you have been open for quite a while, and honestly need to get it together. When you screw up so bad, that an easy going, incredibly patient and courteous person like myself, gets THIS pissed off, you guys are NOT winning. This drive-through is clutch. I find myself in it more than I would like because I'm too lazy to get out of my car before and after work. The only issue is it can get backed up sometimes because there are so many other lazy people out there like me who don't want to get out of their cars. It honestly doesn't deter me because I'd rather wait in line in my car then wait in line in the store. The people are always friendly here even though they are working early in the morning or on holidays. So kudos to them and thank you for putting a drive through here. read more
