She couldn't provide a working number and the form said to talk to the store manager...... Was able to track down the corporate info and left about a dozen messages to try to get someone to address the claim over the past 3 months. No callbacks and would always go to voicemail. Think twice about using their car wash as any damage will be ignored.....

On our last trip to San Jose, we were having trouble with the air pressure sensors in one of our tires. We needed air, and we needed it right now! Dear Hubby went in to get change for the machine. He came out very disgruntled, because the woman in the store was flat rude to him. Apparently, the machine was working, which is something that can happen. Being rude about how you give this information to a customer is something that shouldn't ever happen. Hello - customer service, anyone? DH was still grumbling about it several miles later as we tried a couple other stations that also had non-working air machines. At least they had signs posted to that effect. He was feeling offended at the way he'd been treated, so the feeling lingered. It's not likely that we'll be paying for gas at this location again.

I know this because my last transaction was at this gas station, and immediately after, I started seeing fraudulent charges on my account. Even though the gas prices are always good, I strongly urge everyone to check the card readers for skimming devices before inserting your card. Certificate is $115 (pass or fail they get your money No matter what, no retest like smog for free), so he tells me I need a glaze on my headlights for $150, and brake flush $150 because the dip stick shows it needs a flush. I know how dip stick testers work, it always says discard after x number of minutes. So I tell him that is not a valid read because it's over the acceptable readable time, read the bottle. He says "no worries, I will retest for you" he retests it for me and it clearly shows it's fine no brake flush needed. I tell him "see". He said to me "who has the license?! Whatever I say goes" lol. Got me there you criminal. Just like his response to Karen's post. He charges just enough to not make it worth going to another shop and lose out on the non Refundable inspection fee. I get you have to make a buck, but this guy is the very definition of "scam likely". Move along if you can.
