This 7-11 no longer accepts the 7-11 app. The clerk is rude and stated there are signs all over, however the only signs posted say Big Gulp $1.99. That is a far cry from a posting to the public. They were rude after I told them you should put up clear signs that state they no longer accept the app and what size Big Gulp. I will NEVER go back to this 7-11, and plenty of other 7-11 stores to choose from. This one is far from a convenience. read more

Sometimes, I stop here early on the morning, on my way to the dry cleaners. The remarks others have made about this 7-Eleven's rude staff are spot on, but since I'm there early, I'm probably no charmer myself, and I'm there for coffee, not friendship, so as long as no one is spitting in my cup or telling me to go eff myself, their mood doesn't matter to me. Plus which, as any fisherman will tell you, 7-Eleven coffee is the best pre-dawn, no-waiting, inexpensive cup of coffee you can buy. read more

This 7-11 on the corner of Carlton Hills and Carlton Oaks in Santee has the best, nicest, friendliest clerks you will ever encounter. This 7-11 also has the worst gas pump situation you will ever encounter. The pumps have a terribly awkward entry and exit. They are positioned too close to the parking spots in front of the store. They are mounted too close together and their screens are so sun baked they are almost impossible to read. I would suggest that you go to this 7-11 for your coffee, Slurpee and snacks. Buyer Beware! Gas pump fraud charges of $125 on my bank account when attempting to fuel up around 7am on this Tuesday morning. Had to call my bank and get new cards issued. I will NEVER shop or attempt fueling up at this 7-Eleven location again. read more

I went there earlier to redeem my free drink and the guy who always works with this woman said The size ice coffee I got isn't in their system so I asked if I can just get a smaller sized ice coffee and redeem it because i don't have any money on me and he stared acting like a jerk and kept trying to take the cup from me and was saying it's already in the cup and that it's a waste of money they're not gonna waste the money Then he finally called the manager and the manager Was nice enough to ring it up as the size iced coffee that would redeem my free cup. read more

The morning crew here is awesome. I come in on occasion after I drop off the kids at school. I witness them giving free coffee to military, veterans, police and always asking folks about there morning. Good on you 711 crew, go to the cooler, grab one of those cold beers, head to the back where "employees only" are allowed, raise that beer and yell "Merica!". I rarely leave a bad review but I've given this place 3 up to bats and they've struck out all 3 times. The owner has the worst customer service I've witnessed in a long while. The employees aren't bad. This last time the owner proceeded to argue with me over grabbing a $20 bill out of my wallet. (Unless it's an employee I'm pretty sure however it isn't) Saying I slammed it too hard? WTH? 1- It's during Covid and I merely tossed my $20 on to the counter. The newest 7-11 in Santee, It's also the only place you can get gas on the right hand side of the road heading West on Mast towards the 52. Prices were great. $3.87 for regular unleaded. Every other gas station on Mast is at least $4.04 or more. It's new, clean and brightly lit. I feel that I will be getting gas here a lot.....and that's without even trying the chili cheese taquitos...wacka wacka! read more

After just moving back to the area, my wife went to go get us some sandwiches and chips late at night at about midnight with her cousin. We'd had a long day already and she was a dollar short for her purchase on her card (she gets paid tomorrow afternoon.) Her cousin was waiting in the car and lent her her card. The employee working, Liz, stated that they can't split the payment onto two cards for the transaction. However, she didn't even attempt to make two separate transactions. Instead, she threw one of the bag of chips off to the side and acted snotty to get her out of the store. She was trying to do something nice for me since we went to see my Uncle today dying of lung cancer because I was down in the dumps today. Anyway, she was clearly and understandably upset, so I tried to rectify the situation by buying one of the sandwiches that she wanted to bring home. (My account was drained to $6 until I get paid again in a few days, moving is expensive.) The employee looked me in the eyes and said, "hey look yours went through..." and it bothered me, you never insult a customer especially to other customers. That's my wife, trying to feed me since I was taking care of feeding our baby. I remember her from her previous location off of Mission Gorge. She had some issues there as well. Your best bet is to take the time to travel the extra block in either direction and just avoid this location altogether. The USA Gasoline has always treated me well.but is currently hard to get to due to construction and the new 7 eleven on Mast Blvd seems to hold its employees to a higher standard with exceptional customer service. I used to be a regular customer every day for 5 years got my coffee and tacos in the morning before work! But in the past 2 month they just missed everything up I go in no hazelnut coffee I go in I order 3 tacos and they either give me 2 or they give me the tacos colder than ice cream! And today they just did it and I well never go back! Theirs a reason they invented gloves so u don't use ur hand touching people's food and 1 giving me cold ass tacos and when I paid for 3 and they gave me 2 so I just walked outside and threw thier tacos in trash and left!! It was 80 degrees and the walk was less than perfect as the children didn't have their "walking feet" on today. Our kids were hot and tired but that didn't phase the rude guy behind the counter. He didn't say hello, in fact, he ignored us as he had a shipment being delivered and we were in his way so he spoke to us in a tone as if we annoyed him. I politely said " Hi! We have 12 little ones here today for Slurpees!" His reply was " IT's not until 11:00!" We were an hour early but he wouldn't bend the rules for us. We had to pay for Slurpees today, which really isn't the issue so much as the lack of customer service he possessed. I will be YELPING this location and the not so nice gentleman who was less than helpful as we struggled to find small cups to use if I purchased a large Slurpee to share since I was not prepared to purchase 12 drinks. I asked him repeatedly which cups I should use and all he did was point them out. In addition, small kid cups cost 25 cents each. He wouldn't give them to us. I asked if they had cups to buy in bulk and he snapped at me " I don't know 'mam', you'll have to look!" (he did not know what supplies they have). He was not accommodating AT ALL. I didn't let that get us down...I got Slurpees for everyone. There was no way we were walking back at 11:00. Professionalism is everything to me. An employee is the snapshot of your business, especially if they greet customers at the door. There is no reason to be rude to anyone, especially towards children. I know we can't boycott 7-11 and this location is usually very well operated. I didn't catch his name and they don't answer their phones; ( I'm sure they are busy as ever on 7-11 day ). He was super tall and had light colored hair. This is one of the nicer 7-Elevens but not acceptable that the pumps are never able to give a receipt! 8 out of 10 times I can't get a receipt at the pump and I always fill here. read more

This was my first vist to this location as I was passing by and I must say I was immpressed. I stoped to get gas and being a senior it is difficult to use the pumps sometimes and the attendant must have seen me strugling with gas pump so he came out to help me pump the gas. I don't really write to many reviews but after having a bad experience recently I think it is time to start the reviews. Anyways I was in Santee for business trip and needed to get something to eat and case of water. I did not not care to waste much time in a market as it was late and i just wanted to get back home asap. I passed by this 7 11 stopped by ran in picked up my things and out i went, awesome. I even got my gas topped off so the next morning i was ready for my class. I noticed that there was lots of cleaning going which was cool and the place was well stocked. Worst customer service at any 7-11. Since opening, I haven't been able to pay at the pump, I go inside and tell them and their response is the buttons have a top button and bottom button, "don't press where it says to press"..when I asked the kid how is that a good business practice, he asked "what am I supposed to do about it?" Hey, how about inform your manager and fix the button sign. Came at about 3pm and purchase a slurpee for my niece before I pick her up. Since the PowerBall on Wednesday is at about $1.3 Bn decided to buy a ticket also. My cashier was Steve. As I was paying, I jokingly said "Just the Slurpee and the winning PowerBall ticket so I could fix the Refugee problem in the world." Steve said, dryly " I do not care about those people." I replied, "Well everyone deserves a place to live." Steve: "I still do not care about THOSE people." Me: "Ok then." I left to go pick up my niece. The funny thing is, the owners and most, if not all of the workers are (as I believe them to be) of Middle Eastern descent. Slurpee's are amazing I love them and always have this place i have had only a couple problems And I will give them that its not there fault and its mostly there location I get there is a lot of apartments around and stuff But i have seen some really creepy people in this location that make me feel very uncomfortable there parking lot sucks there is always a jam getting in and out of there but other then that the staff is courteous and the shelves are stocked and i am usually eating candy read more

Do not come here for gas thinking it will be convenient. The pumps do not accept cards even though they have the device set up. When I went in (and this is my second time with this issue at this location) the nice clerk said that it's broken and even though they have tried to fix it, it still won't work. That makes no sense to me. But I said thank you and please tell the owner that I will not be bringing my business here again. read more
