This coffee shop is a hidden gem. They have great tasting lattes. A variety of flavors and pastries too. It's a bit small inside but there's a big patio in the front to enjoy your drink. Staff is friendly. Plenty of parking. Located near an industrial area.

    The croissant and pistachio coffee!

Amazing place! I cannot believe how I ended up here. Abigail recommended me to go. Good thing! The beans are made in house with the bakery!! Loved the Pistachio honey coffee drink!

When I was shopping in Santee, California, I wanted to try a different and unique coffee spot, so I stopped by Coffee & Talk. It is hidden away in a small business district and has something special, their own roasting ware-house connected to the shop, which means the coffee is incredibly fresh. The aromas floating through the air is so delicious of the freshly-roasted coffee! As soon as I walked in, I found the place cute and cozy. The décor included both real and fake greenery, a cute bookshelf, and pages from books hanging along the wall with lights intertwined, giving the place a warm and creative atmosphere. It's a comfortable spot where you can relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. I ordered a coffee called the "Aloha" latte which was amazing. It reminded me of being on a tropical island with the bold sweet and tropical flavor notes to the coffee . It had Coconut and Macadamia flavors in it . The coffee was absolutely delicious, and they also offer pastries. I ordered the almond croissant, which was both SO tasty and satisfying. They have tea also hot or cold. The beans and tea is for sale too which is a great offering! I WANTED to add they have a rewards program . When you sign up with your phone number and email address, you earn points every visit. After ten points (ten visits) you get five dollars off. If you're heading to Santee and looking for a unique, relaxing, and comfortable place with mellow music playing in the background, to grab delicious and the freshest coffee, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. I also want to mention that the service was friendly and professional, which made the experience even better. This is my favorite coffee shop!

What an unexpected treat when you pull into the business park! This cute coffee shop is a little secluded but has such warm vibe. There's a patio space before you enter the coffee shop and the design inside is welcoming. They have bookshelves with books going up to the ceiling and a glass window to see where they roast their coffee. The barista who took my order was friendly and gave me a recommendation. I ordered an iced honey cinnamon latte and loved it! It had the perfect amount of sweetness and espresso flavor.

Not the best picture of their bookcase-- trust me I am aware, but I just had to showcase it. This place is super cute inside. Honestly, I had low expectations going in and they blew it out the park. Ash got their pistachio latte and I got their horchata latte-- super creamy, flavorful but still a present coffee taste.

Nice inside. Trendy and simple. Not much seating inside but a nice shaded patio outside. We ordered a cappuccino- my wife said it was great. I ordered a pour over. Coffee taste is weak. Watery, almost like tea. Service was okay. They were nice. My wife's coffee came out fairly quickly but my pour over took some time. Had 4 drinks and an açaí bowl come out before my coffee.

I came here by a friend's recommendation. I'd never heard of it, and I love a new coffee place, so I was excited to try it! Firstly: it is in the industrial business area so there are lots of big trucks and semis. One actually blocked me in my parking space for a couple of minutes-I was waiting for my coffee at the time, but just be mindful that could be an issue if you're pressed for time. Anywayyyyy, when I walked in, the two baristas were talking and I wasn't greeted, fine whatever, I was looking at the menu trying to figure out what sounded good anyway. After about a minute, I walked up to the counter and was ready to order. The girls were still talking and I wasn't acknowledged at all. I felt like I had to almost fake cough or something until one finally made eye contact with me and motioned to the other to take my order. I finally ordered, and of course I left a tip as i always do. And don't get me wrong, I looooove chisme as much as the next girly pop, but like just a note moving forward: please acknowledge the customers. You guys can continue talking, but I shouldn't have to wait until you have a breath in your conversation. I only mention this because the same. Exact. Thing. Happened to the next person who walked in. That in store experience aside---- the coffee was very good! And the cups are cute and reusable!

Such a cute cafe!!! Loved the mini library they have and the pink espresso machine! Got an Iced Honey Lavender Latte with oat and it was really good! Service was great too, friendly baristas!

I got the pistachio honey latte and it was delicious! Pricing is very reasonable! Parking is easy. Decent amount of outdoor seating. I'll definitely be back!

We LOVE this coffee shop in Santee. It's by far the best tasting coffee in East County. The staff is extremely friendly and quick. Not to mention they are talented artists! My husband opts for the horchata latte 1/2 sweet and I typically get the honey pistachio or honey lavender latter 1/2 sweet. Super creamy and doesn't taste burnt. I did opt for a rose latte last time and it was utterly disgusting. I won't be revisiting that flavor. We will be back on the weekends when we venture out for coffee.

Great experience at this charming coffee shop located in a secluded industrial area of Santee. The patio with that wondrous tree is an added bonus of charm and character. Decoration is very cute, all that fake library going to the ceiling is fun, as well as some other items in the shop. I like the name "Coffee and talk" and not coffee and camp here! amazing blend of some people working, but also families with small children and people alone and eccentric like me that like to add a touch of florals to the composition. Even though Santee is not a town I usually go, I will make sure I will stop by again when around!

Went this morning with the whole family. Very cute place! They accidentally got my order wrong, I hate to ask for a fix but I did and they were so sweet about it. Both coffees I ended up with were amazing!

Cute coffee shop. Staff are very friendly. Although the drinks we ordered were half sweet, the drinks were still a tad too sweet for me. They were still good drinks.

I stopped by the Santee Trader Joe's about an hour before closing. Normally, I do my grocery…read moreshopping on Fridays, but because of the holiday, I decided to wait. I was worried the shelves would be picked over, but I'm so glad I did! It was Monday, and everything was fully stocked with all of my personal favorites and as always the store well organized . One thing I've noticed is that every Trader Joe's has its own unique selection of products. Some locations seem to carry items that others don't, which I'm guessing has a lot to do with the size of the store. But one thing that remains consistent at every Trader Joe's I've visited is the people. I honestly don't think I've ever encountered a rude or disgruntled employee. The staff is always welcoming, genuinely friendly, and more than willing to help. They don't just point you in the right direction--they actually take the time to have real conversations with their customers. That personal touch makes every shopping trip feel enjoyable. I've discovered so many new products simply because a crew member recommended them or shared one of their personal favorites. It's one of the reasons I always leave with something new to try. And somehow, I learn something new every visit. Tonight, I learned about Trader Joe's rotation system. The crew members switch roles throughout the day--one hour they may be working the registers, the next they're collecting shopping carts, stocking shelves, organizing frozen foods, or helping in another area of the store. I think it's a brilliant system. It keeps the workflow balanced, gives employees variety, and, in my opinion, probably helps maintain such positive morale. The crew member who helped me tonight told me he genuinely enjoys coming to work and that his smile isn't forced--he truly enjoys serving people. When an employee sincerely says they enjoy serving customers, it makes you realize Trader Joe's must be doing something right. If you're ever in Santee, I highly recommend stopping by this location. Truthfully, I've had great experiences at just about every Trader Joe's I've visited. My only "complaint" has nothing to do with the store itself--it's those locations that share tiny parking lots with other busy businesses! If you've shopped at one of those, you know exactly what I mean. As always... you can thank me later.

I heard they were a very good meat market, but I was even more excited when I learned that they also have restaurant inside the store. I am such a food whore. At any rate, for breakfast, I ordered the "Huevos a la Mexicana" with a side a corn tortillas. The Mexican scramble came with chopped serrano peppers, onions, and tomatoes, not to mention a side of beans and rice for $13.49 plus tax. The scramble also comes topped with a couple of slices of Mexican Panels Cheese. I did like that! The eggs were well scrambled with all the ingredients and well seasoned. They definitely did not hold back on any of the ingredients, especially the fresh hot peppers. As a results, the scrambled a good heat, just the way my father would of liked it. I liked it, too. Both the rice and beans were very good. The beans were fantastic and the rice was well prepared and cooked to the right texture, but they could of used a little more seasoning. I used the locally made corn tortillas to make breakfast tacos with the scramble and the tasty hot sauce they offered. Every body was super friendly at this hybrid meat market and eatery. Did I mention they have a meat counter here, too? It's a cool little hidden gem in El Cajon.
