Terrible time management and customer service. Employees leave the register with a line down the aisle to scan items around the store for inventory while everyone on their lunch breaks watch. They have on multiple occasions rang up food had me pay only for them to tell me it isn't ready yet but wait 30 seconds. Expect to wait upwards of 5 min. I went in to buy a 12 pack of beer on a Friday night. I had drinked two beers before going to the store; so I was not drunk at all. I paid with a hundred dollar bill. And the employee handed me back some bills but no coins back. I could see the register mark I had a few cents back. So I asked the cashier for my receipt. To which he made a angry face and said something in his language. After checking the receipt, I noticed I was missing $13.48, to which I demanded him my money back and he mugged me so much and started yelling at me in his language. Been going to this, 7-Eleven off and on for years.. when I was younger, it was the hangout spot.. nothing has changed about this place ever, I think. Always coming here for snacks, drinks, lotto and scratcher's.. yesterday I've bought their coffee for the 1st time (surprised, got my 1st coffee their.. yea me too) haha. Going to be upfront: THIS IS A BIASED REVIEW but I felt the need to post anyway. Probably the worst 7-Eleven store I've ever been to globally - and I love them everywhere I go in the world! I really had to pee (while on a long drive) and the restroom at the gas station next door was out of service. I asked the 7-Eleven employee if I could use their restroom as I couldn't hold it anymore (when assuming the gas station next door would have it). He said "no" pretty bluntly. I offered to buy a drink and he still said "no" pretty bluntly. I asked a few more times with different variation of offers. I've never had a place say no after you offer to buy something. Popular, But Poorly Run I'm not surprised by all the negative reviews. I went here yesterday afternoon, and walked out pissed. I also felt slightly ripped off. There were 2 cashiers. One of them was friendly and helpful. He worked hard and went out of his way to assist customers. Cool. The other cashier was not so cool. (4:30am) & i'm also barely in this city, at all, so this was the first time I came to this 7-Eleven. The guy there was kind of rude to me. Fine, he didn't want to say good morning. I was very disturbed by an interaction I witnessed this morning while in this 7-Eleven. A paramedic came out of an ambulance, entered the store explaining she just came off of a call and needed to use the restroom. She has another non-emergent call to get to and just needed to run in really quick. She was professional, in uniform obviously with the ambulance company, Paramedics Plus if I recall. The person behind the counter was very rude and dismissive. She was not allowed to use the restroom and provided with zero explanation. Even if it's a general rule to not have the public use the restroom, a public service person should have access in certain circumstances. If the clerk had needed 911 I am sure she would have been allowed to go anywhere in the store. It's disappointing to see such disregard for the very people who come to serve us when we call 911. read more

I just spent $20 of my hard earned cash at this place only to have the man yell at me to pay immediately when i went back to get a $1 water but decided to look at the items that were by the register. I must be a glutton for punishment. We came back here hoping that the same guy was there. I wanted to thumb my nose at him because 7eleven (the company not this store) was kind enough to send us free slurpee vouchers for the entire family. After filling our slurpee cups all six of us went in line and a different guy this time was behind the counter. He scanned all of our drinks and and was quick to ask for the dollar amount. We gave him the vouchers. After what seemed like five minutes of interrogation and inspecting the vouchers, we explained to him that this is how we got the vouchers in the first place. He scanned the vouchers and we were on our way. OMG... how unfriendly can you be. I think I'm going to write another complaint to the home office. At this rate I will have a year's worth of free vouchers. I am a regular customer at the Seven Eleven on Alvarado-Niles in Union City. I usually buy all my gas and some goods. Tonight at 9:40pm I purchased a fruit container from the Seven Eleven. Melon and cantolope that is cut and in a sealed plastic container. I noticed it was leaking and there was a small opening on the lead but the plastic seal was not broken. I smelled the fruit and it smelled sour. I brought it back right away to get a refund and let the cashier know the problem. He closed it and told me that it was not opened when he scanned it and that I am a liar. He argued with me until I demanded a refund. He told me that I took it home and opened it. I believe his attitude and the words he used were inappropriate. He is doing a disservice to Seven Eleven Customers and because of this I will never go to this Seven Eleven again. I hope you strongly consider taking action on this matter. He argued and called me names over $3.35 when I usually spend a lot more every week on gas and products. Don't go here!
