    Decafe Pistachio Mocha Latte
    Albert G.

Yemeni Coffee Joint in Fremont that's been here for a several months now and has made a good impression on the community. Open and airy space that's condusive to casual business meetups, studying, and hanging out for a good cup of coffee. They bring your order to your table which a nice plus. I got a Decaf Pistachio Mocha Latte with Oat milk. They have a Dubai Chocolate Latte but it's only served cold. So the cashier said she can make the Decaf Pistachio Mocha Latte hot, that would essentially be the same thing. My daughter got the Iced Banana Matcha Latte. The drinks were presented in an aesthetically pleasing and thoughtful glass and mug. The alt Dubai was good. Came out Hot which I like. And there was a good amount of mocha. The smell of chocolate drew me in but I had to give it a moment to breathe. I took a sip from the kataifi side of the mug and was hoping for a small mouthful of the crunchy bits. I felt it could have had more kataifi sprinkled in and more rich with milk for a $10 drink. It tasted good but each time I took a sip I felt needing just a bit of help hitting the spot. The Matcha was very good. Smooth and creamy, The glass wasn't filled to the rim with ice but topped with a nice foam head. I think there was a bit lacking here also with the matcha experience. I get charging a certain price. But if you are, then be better at what your making and serving than what your charging to keep your customers coming back often. Unfortunately, you won't be my daily cup. Overall, the staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is great, the space is welcoming and clean, the service is spot on. However, you are overcharging. (4X model) Thank you Moka.

I stopped by with my sister to try a mix of drinks and food. Mango matcha unfortunately lacked any real matcha flavor. The drink was delicious, but just wished the matcha flavor came through. The Turkish coffee had a very strong, unpleasantly bitter and burnt taste. I did notice the cardamom flavor, but the burnt bitter taste was overpowering. The Sana'ani coffee was was a lighter, mild, and more drinkable compared to the Turkish coffee. The cardamom flavor came through really nicely. I liked this drink. For food, the chicken shawarma was actually good. I really liked it, though the bread was a bit soggy and didn't seem evenly heated as some bites I took were cold. We also tried the kunefe. I liked the sweetness, but it was served cold and the cheese was rubbery. Overall, it was a mixed experience. Some items were enjoyable, but several of the drinks and desserts didn't meet expectations.

This place is over hyped on Tik Tok. After seeing this place popped up on my fyp I decided to give it a try. Place has plenty of parking, clean, and big location. They offer milk teas, refreshers, blended drinks and desserts. I got a dragon fruit refresher with lemonade and a Biscoff cheesecake. The refresher tasted like vino and I just didn't taste any flavor. As for the dessert it was extremely sweet. Both items i ended up throwing them away. I wouldn't recommend this location.

Yemeni coffee shop in Irvington area open late until 11 with lots of seating, wifi, and good vibes No laptop policy so far and they even have a private meeting room you can reserve They can do their coffees decaf, all beans are Yemeni, and also have seasonal limited time drinks such as the date latte (May) The spices + flavorings of their drinks are pretty neutral and not overpowering if you're not used to, their menu has something for all palates! Their date latte was nice and balanced - subtle sweetness and date flavor complemented well with a creamy foam and some bitterness of the coffee Spinach feta fatayer was good, leaned on the slightly acidic side

Coconut matcha latte, Biscoff latte, chicken schwarma

We came to get a late night cup of coffee and a savory snack at about 8:30. Happy to learn they are open til 11pm. We had iced lattes and asked for 50% sweetness. We ordered a coconut matcha latte and a decaf Biscoff latte. Both were delicious even with the reduced sweetness. We ordered the chicken schwarma warmed up and it was delicious. The cafe has had some updates with new images on the wall and a new floor. There are ample tables and the space is huge. They also had a large screen tv on for soccer. The food display was filled with a lot of delicious desserts but we did not order anything this time. I noticed that they also have free board games available. I appreciate the REAL coffee glasses and food plates (not plastic) and the feel of a "sit down and stay awhile cafe." The service was polite. They gave us plastic utensils (knife and fork) which we did not use.

From the desserts to the drinks - there was nothing enjoyable about the items here. My nephew got the oreo cheesecake and you would've never guessed it was that flavor. It was an overwhelmingly strong cream cheese flavor with a very hard graham cracker crust. I got a decaf Moka latte with oat milk. It said it had hints of cardamom and honey but was extremely watered down. It tasted more like water with a hint of instant coffee powder. While the service was great, and the café had a nice ambiance, it was a complete waste of money.

After a decent visit from Yelp Elite Event last month, I decided to try again with a different menu. I got their iced shaken brown sugar espresso as part of Fremont Restaurant Week special. I couldn't taste the brown sugar and the barista put so much ice I couldn't shake and stir the espresso at all. I also tried their chicken shawarma and remembered to ask them to toast it. It had more lemon zest, pretty much like eating lemon juice chicken pastry. Overall, I ended up spending $21 for two items including tips. Still didn't taste good and more expensive than Qamaria. I'll stick to their Adeni Chai for now. I really liked their atmosphere of this cafe, the morning quietness, including the coat rack next to the single tables. The best time to come is 9 am on weekdays since there is nobody, but two baristas behind the counter.

Moka & Co. opened 5 months ago in this vacated martial arts space. Clean, spacious, & obviously beautifully renovated with Yemeni themes. Offerings: Yemeni coffees, teas, specially latte, matcha latte, espresso bar, refreshers, frozen blends, coffee, pastries, cake slices Not busy noonish time when I approached counter to order a drink featured for Fremont Restaurant Week. Associate said I didn't have to order that one drink, say I could order anything on menu. I insisted since I've never seen the drink offered anywheres. Ordered, pay, came to table in minutes. Sips: Brown sugar shaken espresso (8.50) -surprised it had plenty of ice in it. Top portion was white milk, bottom was brown, probably espresso. -brown sugar barely tasted. Same for espresso. Thought I tasted some cinnamon or other spice. -overall very disappointing. lst time espresso served with ice. No notice given. Overall tasted watery. 3 stars not worthy service: ok. Quality lacking-didn't meet my expectations. Quantity: reasonable

We were looking for a place to hang out after dinner and for a sweet treat and this place popped up as recommended! We loved how it was open late, had drink and dessert options, and had plenty of space for people to hang out. The place was brightly lit, had plenty of seating, and the vibe definitely encouraged socializing as the place had music and large groups talking. There was a variety of seating options and what I'm assuming was little coat racks for guests to bring to the side of their table to place bags or coats. There was even a little bookcase with different board games, both family-friendly and not, ready for use. The bathroom was tucked away and had air freshener as well (no explanation needed). After ordering, workers will bring your food and drinks to your table with a table marker. Everything was beautifully presented. We ordered hot chocolate which wasn't on the menu, but it was very hot and delicious, and worth it for $5 for a large. Staff was friendly and quick, especially when they noticed we hadn't received our drinks with our desserts, and in giving us to-go containers. The cheesecake was soooo good! They even had a little menu board displaying staff favorites. I got a slice of the oreo cheesecake and a slice of the biscoff cheesecake, which I ate about half of each before taking home. In my opinion it was definitely worth the price, which was about $10 or so each. Flavorful, well presented, and filling! Would love to come back if I'm in the area! Do be careful, as parking could get a bit tight here if busy!

Loved my experience at Moka & Co! All the food and drinks tasted great, loved the open aesthetic, and it seems like a great place to get some work done!! The staff was wonderful, we wanted to try the Dubai chocolate coffee in a hot version and the barista customized a drink for us to try it as it usually only comes iced, and it tasted great!! I think they should add it to their menu :) We also tried their Adeni Chai and it was yum! For the food we tried their potato fatayer and the feta pastry with zaatar and they both tasted so good! I was tempted to get another one of the potato fatayers! Definitely a must visit if you're in the area and I hope they have more locations in the future!!

Yemeni coffee places are definitely starting to pop up everywhere now. Glad I tried this place! Ambiance: well-lit with table and booth seating. Tables spaced far enough apart to feel comfortable. Free wifi and also board games. Great place to do work or hang out with friends Service: order at the counter and grab a number. Cashier was friendly and gave great recommendations Food: 1. Turkish coffee: bf ordered. I'm not a big fan of Turkish coffee as it is a bit too bitter for me, but I tried a sip and the one served here has a nice touch of cardamon to balance the bitterness. Also comes in a super cute setup. 2. Moka spice latte: 4/5 customizable sweetness. The flavor reminded me of chai, just slightly watered down. Great taste and I couldn't stop sipping it 3. Pistachio croissant: 5/5 they warm it up for you after ordering. The croissant was nice and crunchy and it was stuffed to the brim with pistachio gooeyness. The pistachio was very distinct and definitely tastes like pistachio 4. Tiramisu milk cake: 4/5 was very moist. I liked it, but the tiramisu flavor was pretty subtle. The little pastry on top was also chewy/soft, whereas I expected it to be crunchy Definitely recommend this place. A contender to Qamaria with the benefit of less crowds

I'm such a fan of this place now! I think they've mastered the flavor profiles of everything they serve. Not only was the adeni chai good, but their flavored lattes, pastries, and even savory food items were all delicious. There are a lot of Yemeni cafes in the bay now, but this was one is in the top tier. I highly recommend the pistachio latte if you like pistachio. What's also cool is they have a Dubai chocolate latte if you enjoy that! The biscoff cheesecake and pistachio milk cake were both soo good. But if you want savory, their wraps are amazing. Can't wait to be back!

The vibe here is lovely - modern interior, plenty of space to settle in, and friendly staff. The pastries are great although the matcha and coffee didn't quite reach the level I was hoping for. Still a solid spot to hang out, especially if you're more there for the ambiance and baked goods.

As someone who has been drinking Vietnamese coffee since I was 12 (Im much older now), I am very picky with my Vietnamese coffee. This place knocked it out of the park with their coffee as well as offering flavors that I never tried other than the original. The phin set I ordered is for dine in only and understandably so. The pandan cream topping was definitely new for me and I would give it the compliment of saying that it wasnt too sweet. Not pictured was the pandan waffle and the two pate chaud I ordered, which I ate before taking the picture, I am sorry. It might be on the pricey side but hoenstly these days, what isnt? Im not complaining, I would come back next time I am around the area. Lastly, I wanted to shout out the workers there on that day. You guys seemed understaffed and getting slammed, but everyone did their job and delivered.

My recommendation is to order your drinks less sweet. It's the perfect level of sweetness. The only tweak I'd make is adding an extra shot of espresso to the coconut coffee. The food, unfortunately, didn't live up to the drinks. I tried a few of the bánh mì sandwiches, and the bread-to-filling ratio was way off. There just wasn't enough filling, and even after ordering extra veggies, it didn't seem like there were actually any extra added. If you're specifically craving a Vietnamese sandwich, I'd recommend driving about a mile up the road to Huong Sandwiches instead. That said, I still want to come back and try more of their food menu because the drinks alone keep bringing me back. The café itself is adorable. I love the modern design and all the greenery throughout the space. It's clean, quiet enough to study or work, and has about 7 small tables, making it ideal for solo visits or small groups of up to four people. I also appreciated the powerful hand dryer in the restroom (it's the little things!) and plenty of parking. Come for the drinks, stay for the atmosphere.
