We don't live close to the Krispy Kreme in Union City, but we happily make the drive because of Armaan. We could easily go to a closer location, but the customer service he provides is truly unmatched. Every time we visit, he greets us with a genuine smile, is incredibly kind and attentive, and always makes us feel welcome. The thing that stands out the most is that he remembers us, even if we haven't been in for a few weeks. That personal touch means so much and is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. It's rare to find someone who consistently provides such outstanding customer service. Armaan has turned a simple trip for donuts into something we genuinely look forward to. Came in at 6pm on a Tuesday. Line was relatively long. They only had 1 person working the inside line. The same ONE person was taking orders, packing the donuts, manning the register, AND putting together the pick up orders...what upsetted us was she kept helping those that were picking up first. Many of the people that were picking up walked right to the register without waiting. When it was our turn, she kept attending to the pick up orders (at least 3 parties walked up straight to the register while everyone else waited in line). We finally got our donuts, 20 minutes later. Extremely disappointing experience at this location. I previously had a Valentine's Day order that was a mess, so I contacted corporate. A very kind supervisor called me back, apologized, and offered a complimentary box of donuts to make it right. He left a coupon at the store for me to pick up. When I went in to redeem it, the manager (Lady) called him to confirm. After confirming it was approved, she said loud enough for me to hear "You didn't have to do that. All you had to do was apologize. They don't need a free box unless they bought more than three dozen." Located in Union Landing. I came in to take a treat back to the hotel for us. I liked the large window to the factory which you could see the donuts individually made. That was pretty neat. This place is THE WORST. I took my kid to buy some of the Pokemon donuts they had available. When we entered there were only two people in line but none of the workers helped us (3 in the front, 3 in the back). They were just standing around talking to each other and avoiding the customers in line. It wasn't until someone, possibly the manager, came in that they started to do anything. The only person doing any work was the person supporting the drive-thru, which was great for folks in the drive-thru but bad for people inside as most of the Pokemon donuts were bought up while we were waiting. My kid noticed a tray of Pokemon donuts that were available by the drive-thru and when I asked if I could buy some of them the cashier had a look on her face like she no idea what I was asking about. I was in the area today, and wanted something sweet. I decided to pay Krispy Kreme a visit. Walked it and it was only one family ahead of me. When it was my turn to order the guy I don't know if he was the manager or not but he was rude and rushing me. Why I don't know because it wasn't busy and it was again one family in-front of me. I wanted to try the key lime pie doughnut but wanted to know what filling was in it? I wanted to try another one as well the coconut doughnut. So when I was asked what can I get you? I ordered the key lime and before I could say anything else the guy was like is that it? I said I would like the one on top it was bigger than the other ones and I felt it was worth my bucks. I was told those were only for display he can only grab from the bottom rack. I never heard of that before and I have gotten doughnuts from the top rack before. He just kept saying is that it like damn it give me a second to keep looking. It was supposed to be two separate transactions but we paid as one. We actually wanted to get a box to go and order single doughnuts for us. After our interaction with him we were like forget it grab what we are rushed to get and leave. My family stopped in for dessert after celebrating my mom's birthday dinner at Texas Roadhouse. This store is honestly disgusting. I came with my 2 year old niece and just ordered a cup of ice and 2 glazed donuts. The problem was t even the donuts itself it was the cup of ice. As I got to the bottom of the cup of ice, after I finished MAJORITY there was a clump of HAIR at the bottom of the cup with lint in it. The shift lead Micheal was rude and didn't have any compassion towards the situation and just try to offer me more food which I did not want. He didn't want me to speak to his boss which was also a red flag, when he took the cup for me, and when I saw he wasn't going to be compassionate, I asked for it back and he lied to me and said he threw it away. When he saw me getting upset. He finally went and got the cup off the back counter. He gave my mom a doughnut, but he used the same hand that he was twirling his finger around in my cup that had the clump of hair in it, and when I picked her up a doughnut off the conveyor belt. We don't have Krispy Kreme near home so when we traveled to CA to visit family, I insisted on bringing some back home with us. We were leaving the following day so we dropped by the Union Crossing location to pick up a dozen variety. When we pulled up we noticed the Hot Now sign was on. We didn't plan on getting any original glazed but they did give us a couple to enjoy while we waited for our variety order (took a bit; we imagine less staff during later hours). Oh my gosh, I realize it had been almost a decade since we had a fresh hot one and can I just say wow? It was so melt in your mouth gooey goodness. If we had more space, we would've taken a dozen of those too lol. We drove away with 3 chocolate sprinkle ones for the granddaughter, 3 raspberry and 3 lemon filled for my jelly-filled loving husband, and 3 custard for me. We froze them in our hotel freezer overnight so they could make the flight back. When we got home, hubs heated some up for us all to enjoy. Since becoming disabled, hubs has had to handle all the cooking, reheating, etc and he's gotten really creative with it all. To reheat the donuts, he turns the ninja air fryer on to preheat then turns it off so the donuts can slowly come to a warm temp. It makes them taste just like the Hot Now ones!! This would work in any oven or air fryer just as well. I'm trying to savor them but we doubt they'll last the week o.O read more

Well good morning I went to get some Krispy Kreme items for my daughter and myself. I've drove up to the window absolutely no one there. So I'm like wow good day good day is going to go so quickly. I visited yesterday afternoon very excited to see the "Hot Donuts" light on and immediately went to the drive thru. My first frustration was that the order box was out of order and I was to drive to the pick up window to order. So I met Rosemarie at the window and since I drove so far already I decided to get a dozen. I had to have 6 of their glazed (they're the best when hot) and asked for an apple fritter to find out they're out. Then asked for a cinnamon roll. They're out of that too. So I asked ok maybe you should just tell me which donuts you're out of because I'm striking out in getting the ones I want. She says ok just those two. So I ask to see a menu which isn't fully available to see as it was at the speaker box. She gives me a card with very small writing and I ask for a few others. So far this visit I drove 30 plus minutes for isn't going well and I rarely get to visit because of the distance. So I pay $32 and change and thinking I'll probably eat one in the car on the drive home but after she hands me the box she quickly walked away. I right away notice the box isn't warm. So my donuts aren't hot and fresh like the sign says. I called a few times trying to get her attention wanting to ask her why my donuts aren't hot. She says oh we're making donuts but you'd have to wait 20 minutes. Would you like to wait 20 minutes? I said no. I came here because you have you're light on saying their hot. I suggested maybe they should turn off the light because your donuts aren't hot. She says her manager won't allow that. The manager says because they're only open 5-7 (ok that didn't sound right and maybe I misunderstood their hours) but that they are instructed to have it on the whole time. So I asked her managers name and found out his name is Steve. So as long as Steve is managing this location you gotta ask if the donuts are really hot even when the light is on.
