The interior is super cute! Totally beautiful! But unfortunately, it's not in a great location. The parking lot and buildings look pretty run-down and old. Honestly, I wouldn't have gone here if I weren't trying to find a new boba place. But I found this one on the (toogoodtogo) app and thought why not? To be honest, I probably wouldn't return because I didn't like the taste of the milk green tea I received. Not only did the flavor seem weird but I ended up going home and brewing more green tea to try to salvage the flavor. Nothing worked to make it taste better. They have a normal adult menu in addition to a kids menu with smaller portions, more kid-approved items, and caffeine free drinks at a lower price. My kids are huge foodies (no surprise) so we opted for the normal menu items for them but any item can be purchased a la carte so if there's something you'd like to pair with your set, just make sure to order ahead of time. Each adult set comes with your selection of three items with some requiring an additional cost. At first, I thought, they don't give much boba. Then I drank it, and am so glad they didn't give me much. It was the mushiest boba ever! Maybe it's the end of the day and it's been sitting there the whole day, but if that's the case, they shouldn't even sell it. As for the sweetness, 60% is fairly accurate as the ice melts. Not much of the difference in terms of atmosphere but it's still a good place to hangout. About the Dalgona Coffee, I like how there's three different textures each are probably ingredients. I also find it important to clarify that I have been to this location previously. On a few occasions, I noticed ants near the napkin area. I chose not to mention it at the time because this is a mom-and-pop business, and I genuinely try to support local businesses rather than publicly criticize them. Unfortunately, this response and how the situation was handled leaves me wishing I had spoken up sooner. What is especially uncomfortable is that, rather than resolving the issue appropriately, the business chose to look up and view my personal social media accounts. Initially came here for a yelp elite event and was impressed by the quality of the tea and small bites so decided to book a tea party in honor of a friend's birthday. Responses were quick and informative, and each guest got to choose items from a savory menu (vegetarian options available) along with 2 hot tea flavors (unlimited refill) for the table to share. There are also assorted desserts displayed for each guest for their own "set," which was really aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. When I had let them know we were celebrating a birthday, they made sure to decorate one of the displays with some birthday decor, a sweet and appreciated touch. We arrived to the tea party and there was plenty of parking still available in the shared but spacious lot next to the shop. There were a couple of other parties going on, but we felt like we had plenty of room and it wasn't too noisy. The food and tea were delicious, and the service was very accommodating as we ended up staying after we had finished eating to chat for a couple hours. Really appreciate the many refills on the tea! And the small bites were delicious. Overall, the tea experience here is pleasant, well-managed, and very affordable for what you get. I picked 2-pandas, in replacement of the 2-girl macarons. When I got to the cafe to pick up, I was informed only 1 panda was good as the others had broken ears, so I took 1 panda, 1 lantern and 6 heart macarons. I was also expecting a nice gift box which did not happen, I attached a picture here of the white big box (big for the macarons) where the macarons were placed. The box was not even firm enough to close properly so I dont know how they define "nice gift box" here. I was talking to one of the owners and she said that they are in the works of a Matcha Thai Tea, which I cannot wait to come back and try it. We reserved high tea at this location and had a very disappointing experience. When we first arrived, we stood around waiting for someone to acknowledge us because the front desk was empty. We later discovered that the employee was sitting outside the café and did not come inside for over five minutes. Once seated, several of our teacups were chipped or broken. We then waited another 15 minutes without any service and had to flag someone down just to get water, which took an additional five minutes. Our pastries arrived about 30 minutes later, but our tea still had not been served. To make matters worse, one of the sandwiches had a bug in it. After bringing it to the staff's attention, it took another 15 minutes for a replacement to arrive, and there was very little apology or urgency shown regarding the situation. When we asked about the tea, we were told it was "steeping," so we waited patiently. Eventually, after we had already finished the savory pastries, we asked again and were then asked what tea we had ordered, even though all of the information was included in our reservation email. This made it seem like the order had been forgotten entirely. Throughout the experience, we constantly had to flag staff down for basic service. It felt as though we were inconveniencing them simply by being there, despite having made a reservation in advance. Every time we inquired about something, the response was simply, "We're busy." Overall, the service was inattentive and disorganized, and the food quality issue only made the experience worse.
