    Mung Bean Milk Tea
    Briana N.

Friendly and quick service, but I think your experience here really depends on the drink you get, especially because the menu isn't as diverse as other places may be. I thought the Japanese matcha green tea was delicious! The matcha green tea flavor really comes through without being overshadowed by sweetness. Yet it's sweet enough to really compliment it. The Vietnamese coffee was really pleasant and tasted authentic enough to me. (Not that I'm any type of expert, but I've been tricked many times by places claiming to serve Vietnamese coffee, but then not even using condensed milk or anything.) The strawberry hibiscus was good, the hibiscus flavor was pretty strong. But the mung bean milk tea was just ok. It's an intriguing flavor to have on the menu for sure, which probably encourages people to order and try. And while the flavor is very mung bean, the sweetness is so strong that it becomes a little sickly. Maybe ask for a lower sweetness level if you're still interested in trying it.

Pros: - I like the the flavor of house coffee - friendly staff - order will get ready pretty quick - been having 7 leaves since 2011 when I lived in Orange County, California. Cons: - no wifi, so you can't really come and do work here like some other coffee spots. - sometimes my house coffee barely have any whip cream..

Sweet employees and clean establishment with cute designs. And the drinks were great!

So good! One of the most refreshing drinks I've had and the customer service was amazing!

The service was amazing and fast with an amazing drink. It was so refreshing and not too sweet.

You can't go wrong with their Vietnamese coffee! I've ordered it several times through Uber Eats and the quality and taste are superb. It always gives me the instant boost of energy to get me through my work from home days.

Love the green Thai tea here. Be sure to adjust the sugar level down though because it comes too sweet by default.

There was a bit of a line but it went reasonably quickly. Upon entry, you grab a tray and tongs, then make your way down the line of self-serve enclosed glass cases with shelves of fresh good. We chose a savory breakfast sandwich, an Almond Croissant and another sweet pastry. In line, the offered to heat our sandwich which we allowed. Then we ordered coffees, paid and sat down. A few minutes later, we walked back up to collect our coffees. The breakfast sandwich was tasty, though the ham and cheese in the center of the sandwich was untouched by the heating process. Next time, we'll ask for a longer heating cycle. The pastries were good. Not as good as made that morning in Paris, but better than most places we've been in the US. We also took some dessert pastries home for later that same night. My wife's was sort of ho-hum but mine was fabulous. I had what I guess would be a cro-nut?? Sort of like a doughnut that was made in layers of pastry, then cut out with a donut cutter. It had a filling in the center and had a sugary coating. SO GOOD! We'll be back to Paris Baguette and we'll try other items and for sure, we'll ask for our heated items to be heated a bit longer.

I decided on a bagel with cream cheese and asked the barista for a coffee recommendation. She said her favorite was the Salty Goat so I went with that. I said yes. The danish was brought to my table nice and warm and it was delish. The coffee, which I ordered hot, was also delicious. About 15 minutes later the barista brought me a perfectly toasted bagel with cream cheese and said the owner said it was on the house. I think he ran out to purchase some cream cheese just for us! While the customer service is adequate, the prices are affordable, and the space is bright and clean, so what's the issue? The food. There's no doubt the places is quite authentic and has the old-school charm of an establishment that's been around forever, despite only opening a little more than a decade ago. Seating options are limited as the setup is meant for in an out action. It doesn't stop locals from coming in, especially since the parking lot is almost never full. (#1) Like many Vietnamese bakeries, they offer numerous pastries and desserts, along with cold drinks, and ready-made items for takeout. Despite the banh mi bread being freshly baked, the banh mi seems overly average. Their thit nuong isn't all that sweet and the spread is limited. I've had mildly better results with their dac biet, but the paté is lacking, the pickled veg is abundant, but the meat cuts are slim. Smart people know not to shoot for any milk tea or boba, but instead shoot for nuoc mia (sugar cane juice) or a caphe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee). The former is heavily powder based, which is expected since this is not a dedicated boba spot. Service will also vary and to no one's surprise, speaking Vietnamese will go a long way. I wouldn't rule out a feature return, but I have a feeling the next time I'll stick to drinks only. ___________ (#1) With the exception of big events.
