Ambiance is number one. They've got the whole Japanese/Asian theme going on within the store. When you go to order, you'll order upfront via the tablet! So don't expect a human to come out and take your order. Boba was a little bit overpriced for what you get unless you include the ambiance into your experience.

Very nice ambiance for studying or just relaxing. Quick service, and the dumplings I had were good! I definitely recommend checking this place out.

I've been here several times. Cute decor, plenty of tea coffee options and snacks, they're always adding new drinks to their menu. You can customize your order via an iPad up front.

Super cute shop! The tea was pretty good, the wait was decently quick , however the price was a bit high for me. It could've been my fault for getting extras though...

I've been here a few different times, and I am underwhelmed each time. The interior is cozy, aesthetically pleasing, and great for playing games and hanging with a group of friends. Unfortunately, that's where the positive part of this review ends. The drinks I've had are decent, but there are definitely better tea and coffee drink options within a 5-minute driving distance from here. Not every drink has to be a shining star, but for how much I paid I was expecting better. Prior to the newest wave of inflation, one drink was already approaching $8. On a recent trip with a friend, a SMALL milk tea was more than $8 and she said it was good but not $8 good. Every time I have been here, the drinks take an unusually long time to be ready even if I'm the only person there. It's frustrating to wait and then be served a mediocre beverage. On a side note, this is not a good place to study. In short, 1102 is a skip. Maybe I'll try it again a looong time from now in the hopes things change. If you're looking for a Cooper Street spot for better drinks and a place to hang out like 1102, I think Feng Cha, Sharetea, and Royal Tea are all better nearby options.

I would like to start this review talking about how MID this place is. Mid meaning, average nothing special. our order was totaled almost $17.5 for one large drink and one small drink. the prices for the drinks are no where to be found, thus when we were told our total we were shocked. We understand that inflation has caused many prices to rise but 17 dollars for 2 drinks, thag is insane and unacceptable. At least warn the customers by putting the price of the drinks up so we know how much we are paying a the jasmine potted plant milk tea was your typical jasmine milk tea with oreo crumbs and sea salt foam. 3/5 the matcha honey blend was very questionable. it had a weird mint taste when there should not have been a mint taste at all (honey & matcha... where is the mint...) It was a big disappointment and is a deserved 0/5 if the drinks themself weren't enough to drive you away from this place, the staff they decided to place at the front was questionable. i understand that everyone speaks differently, but please hire a cashier that will speak loudly and clearly that people can understand. a quiet person who makes no eye contact that looks like they don't even wanna be there is not the type of person you should hire. Along side their unfriendly demeanor, when we asked about the menu items and what they were, the cashier told us he has no clue what was in the drinks. HOW IS THAT ALLOWED? I don't think it's the cashier's fault, but rather management's fault for not training their employees enough and just throwing them wherever needed. the aesthetics of this shop were very nice, though the looks of the place can not hide how badly trained staff was, the horrendous prices & odd tasting drinks. TLDR: Expensive boba that was not worth the prices Also employees need to be pick more carefully & more trained so they know the menu

Not bad. I had the milk tea with tapioca. The milk tea wasn't anything special, but the tapioca was pretty good. The interior is filled with small potted plants, and there are a couple of tables that are similar to what you'd find in a tatami room: Cushions to sit on the floor with. Drinks are on the expensive side too. I bought basic drink in the smallest size, but it almost cost $5. I am going to stick with Tea Scoop, where you can watch the workers brewing tea in front of you. But all their advertisements about new drinks and such are chock full of typos. Hell, I even found a typo on their menu. While customers aren't looking to be picky with spelling, it's still a bad look when you can't spell properly.

My go-to boba shop in Arlington when I'm not craving ding tea or feng cha. I always order the dark roast oolong milk tea! If you're a fan favorite of oolong tea, this is the place to try. We use to go here for their gas station milk tea but I believe they discontinued it which is such a bummer because it was great for groups to try new flavors without ordering a full drink. They also have super cute insta worthy decor inside!

Despite what everyone says, this place is amazing and a very aesthetic place! Although it takes a little to get your order, it tastes very good! The drinks are SO GOOD, I love their milk tea!! Service was very good, sweet people.

I've had better boba. I wanted to visit because it looked so cute and the drink pictures online looked really yummy. Make sure to yell your order because their music volume is set to 100 and the cashier messed up one of our orders. I got Black milk Tea with Boba. It tasted like choclate milk. The boba was cooked fine. And the tea was still hot that my drink was warm and the ice melted so fast. My sister got Jasmine MT with Lychee Pop She wanted Lychee Jelly not the popping bubbles, hence the loud music. The tea portion was good, not bad. The popping jelly was weird... Not sure if I'll be coming back.

Everyone is friendly and happy to give suggestions if you can not make up your mind. They have lots of flavors to choose from. The atmosphere is lovely and cozy. Can't wait to be back!

This was the one bubble tea place I was able to get ahold of to find out they were open on Christmas. This was our first time and it exceeded every expectation. They have the cutest set up, booth seating with pillows, lots of plants/trees, the decor was overall very cute! We can appreciate the tea drinks but we prefer the sweet smoothies and blended drinks. We ordered chocolate cookies with boba, non dairy strawberry smoothie with lychee and chicken dumplings. Both drinks were delicious! The chocolate cookie was the perfect amount of sweet, very chocolatey and the boba was soft. My daughter is obsessed with strawberry and it didn't disappoint. My boyfriend said the dumplings were delicious! Very crisp and good quality. Anthony, who took our order, was very patient and kind knowing that it was our first time there. You have the option to order on a kiosk but with our daughters milk allergy I always prefer to order at the counter so there's no mixup. It was a bit of a drive from our place but that doesn't mean we won't visit again! I would highly recommend this tea shop to anyone.

    Yogurt Strawberry Mango Smoothie

Got the Yogurt Strawberry Mango French Smoothie with the mini mochi topping. The drink was okay, the yogurt taste definitely overpowered the taste of the fruits, so I wasn't too thrilled. Been here a couple of times and I've tried some of their other drinks as well, wasn't a huge fan of them either.

So when a cup accidentally breaks when putting the straw in and we happen to be minorities not from your culture, how much is that fee? Guessing it's not free replacements like you only give to certain people that experienced the same thing right?

Whoa race card right away. Why don't you message the owner about your grievance. And odds are the owner took your order as they're there often.

Are the drinks made with real tea or powders?

This place looks so cute! I have an allergy to dairy milk. Are there alternatives to cow's milk, such as coconut or almond?

I think they have almond milk as a substitute for our boba loving lactose intolerant friends!

Hi all!! I want to try this place but don't really know what to try. Any recommendations? I wanna try something that goes good with Flan =)

Hi Peter. Thank you so much for your interest in trying our drink. Flan actually goes well with all milk tea. The 2 best sold items are tiramisu oolong with flan (it is sweet) and green thai with flan. Thanks again for your question. Hope this helps… Read more

He quoted us 15 minutes but after half an hour, somebody came out and said that something happened and that they are working on the egg waffle for us. They did not say well what's going on. No problem, we were just scrolling on our phones and just chilling but after 45 minutes, we thought that this was very unusual and went up to the counter to see what was going on. Basically, their freezer exploded, and all the ice cream was melting. So, I don't understand why they would not tell us the truth and say that they could not give us the ice cream and refund us or at least tell us the truth. I don't know what their endgame was or if they were just very young and so nervous that they could not tell us when we are pretty chill. But, there's no solution for something like this for a catastrophic machine issue. There's no way to fix this Icecream problem since all the ice cream melted, but they decided not to tell us anything at all in hopes that what? We would forget call? That the machine will spontaneously work again and refreeze the ice cream within a specific amount of time so they could scoop the ice cream again and give us a waffle? I was just baffled because it's been almost an hour for us to get a simple waffle with a scoop of ice cream. In the end, the workers had to get the manager because they were unable to figure out some kind of solution amongst themselves for a simple problem. I figure this is because they were all young or management likes to micromanage everything, and they were afraid to make an executive decision themselves. They offered us the melted ice cream so we could dip our waffle in though lol. At the end, the solution was that we got a plain egg waffle without any of the fruits in it and no ice cream, a strawberry banana smoothie which was actually really freaking good, and a calamari stick that we asked for. Despite the almost hour long wait, the ambience in this place was nice, the kids were nice, even though they were quite nervous, the drinks were good and to be honest, we weren't really caring too much. I hope that next time when there is a catastrophic issue with the machines and things cannot be fixed within a reasonable time that you would tell the customer that they cannot fulfill the order and to offer a refund or some solution within 10 to 15 minutes instead of 45. Still a 4/5 bc that strawberry banana smoothie was bomb, and the machine breaking wasn't anyone's fault.
