I'm honestly so upset writing this right now so bear with me. I called ahead of time to book my husband a massage for Father's Day. This is his second Father's Day ever and I wanted to make it special! We booked for the regular full body. When he went in, they were VERY rude to him and treated him very off putting and barely wanted to acknowledge him. He said two other people had come in separately while he was there and they were treated different and with kindness. My husband has tattoos everywhere so once in a while we get treated differently which is always ironic to me since we are very financially comfortable and any place we get good service gets a big tip. Nobody should be judged based on some tattoos, and it hurt his feelings on a day that was supposed to be special. I will never be coming back and letting everyone know how he was treated. If you are on the edge of booking with this place, I 10/10 recommend! This place is a hole in the wall but very clean and professional with amazing prices. I got the general massage with Jason for a steal of $55 for 60 minutes. Jason checked in to make sure pressure was good - he was great at reading my body language to go more firm vs softer. All the bad reviews on here might be people who aren't used to Asian massage spas. When I call, and someone answers in broken English, "You want massage?" I know it'll be great. They're not gonna bother with asking about problem areas - they're not even worried about their Dora the Explorer bed skirt - they're just focused on giving you an incredible massage, and this place delivers. I did a 60-min deep tissue massage (includes hot stones, shaitsu, Thai step back + Thai knelt back) for $65. Mandy was really firm, used a lot of her forearm and elbow strength - if you like a "hurts in a good way" deep deep tissue massage. She was very nice when I asked for lighter pressure in sensitive areas - but went back to firm pressure when moving on (which I love. Sometimes when you ask for lighter pressure in one are, they keep it light, which is not what I want). This massage included a face and head massage, which I'm used to - but a new thing was a stomach massage which was different (I'll probably ask to skip next time to focus on muscle areas). I called to schedule an appointment this afternoon and they took me in right away. It's kind of hard to find. The location itself is small but very clean. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. My experience with this massage place has been amazing! I've been here 3 times now it's a great spot for a reasonable price. The staff has always been welcoming and they keep their area clean. The first time my husband and I got the couples massage, then I went it on my own since I had severe back pain and just pain in general, I left like a brand new person, my body felt so relaxed. The third time went in with my aunt and it was also a great experience! Everyone has different opinions but to be a place where it's close by and good pricing I'd say 5/5 :) also I've tried several massage places not too many but enough to say this is the only place that's catered to my specific liking in massage styles thus far. I needed a deep tissue massage..They didn't ask if a male was okay and rushed me into the room. He immediately started touching my butt without asking my problem areas- not one lick of English. Anyway, he did not know what he was doing, this was the farthest thing from a deep tissue massage. Multiple times he covered my eyes with a towel and left the room to help other customers. The owner has 2 locations, I visit the location at 5433 and the other is 4935 el cajon boulevard, linda in the past was the massage therapist I've seen, this time lily was able to see me, she like linda is very professional and listens to what is the stressed and sore areas.
