During my visit, Gale performed a Japanese Reiki session so recklessly that it caused actual injury. What was meant to be a gentle, healing energy practice turned into a painful and upsetting experience that left me physically hurt. I went in for relaxation and left injured. It was clear during the session that Gale lacked the basic competence to be performing this kind of bodywork. As if that weren't enough, Gale's daughter Chloe--who also appears to work at or around the spa--engaged in deeply unprofessional conduct with my husband. She made inappropriate comments such as "I want white babies" and created an extremely uncomfortable environment for him through her coercive and boundary-crossing behavior. No client should have to navigate unwanted advances or pressure while trying to relax and receive services. To make matters worse, the overall environment felt completely unprofessional. A spa should be a place of trust and safety; this was the opposite. Body and Healthcare & Spa should be ashamed to associate their brand with people who run such an unsafe and inappropriate operation. Do not trust these individuals with your safety. Go somewhere that actually respects client well-being and knows how to maintain basic professional boundaries.
