Parking is a little tight but there is a shopping square next to it to utilize. The front desk person takes your payment before your session. They take credit card or cash. BEST decision ever! When I arrived, I was carrying A LOT of stress and muscle tension. My neck, shoulders, and back were extremely stiff, tight, and painful. I explained everything to Cindy and requested medium pressure, and let me tell you, this woman is absolutely gifted with her hands! ‍ She gave me one of the BEST massages I have ever received. She did a complete full body massage, including my feet, and really focused on the areas where I was carrying the most tension. She used hot oil and placed heating pads on my neck and lower back, and OMG, it felt AMAZING! ‍ I get massages pretty frequently and I love trying different massage therapists and different places, so I definitely know when I receive an exceptional massage. By far, Cindy has been one of the BEST massage therapists I have ever had. I work in a demanding field and I am also managing my mother's continuity of care along with multiple responsibilities and projects, so sometimes I become extremely overwhelmed. Here's what went right and wrong: Pros: -They were able to squeeze me in immediately. -Pricing is fair/decent. -Facility is clean and accepts credit card. Cons: -They never asked me what kind of massage I wanted, and there is definitely a huge language barrier. I told her I wanted deep tissue, with as much pressure as she could possibly do, and to spend the entire time on my back and shoulders. What I got instead was a 1 hour Swedish style full body massage. Because she didn't do the full hour on my shoulder like I specifically requested, my shoulder feels a little better but not completely... -There was a lack of instructions, likely due to the language issue. Most massage places will ask you once you walk into the room where you feel pain, then, they will tell you what level to undress to, where to leave your things, etc. That was not my experience. She literally walked me into the room, and then, closed the sliding door and gave me zero instructions. -There wasn't great privacy. I don't really care, but every other massage place I have been to is very careful not to expose your breasts or have the door open while you are not fully clothed. Again, that was not my experience here. Instead of a sheet to cover my body on the massage table, they gave me a body sized towel that really only covered my butt if I put it horizontally. Then, she came in as I was getting dressed, and I was in my bra, and she went to get me water with the door open. Overall, it was a good massage, and if I was in a pinch, I would return, but I'm honestly pretty surprised this place has all 5 star reviews, most of which are super recent, given I know others would be much more bothered by my experience than I was.
