The staff is welcoming and treats you like family. The selection of high quality meats is wide. We love the smoked pork chops, specialty boxed burgers, breakfast sausage, chicken, Faroe Island Salmon and every now and then, we treat ourselves to a steak. The gourmet mushrooms are delicious as well. And I generally pick up some candy to spoil the grandkids. They also carry cheeses, a few deli meats, wines, craft beers, vegetables and gourmet pastas and pickles. You can get just about everything the you need for a nice dinner. The store is upscale and spotless. There is one small table if you want to sit and eat some cheese or have them make a sandwich. After I ordered, there was a large group of people, so I guess I got in at a good time! I loved my last bundle and I'm sure this one's going to be equally as good. The prices May be going up a little bit shortly, but right now they're honoring the prices that are listed on the boards. Their hours are limited (only opened Thursday - Saturday). Morgan was clerking when I stopped by today and described where the meats are sourced. All the meats come from This Old Farm north of Lebanon except for the chicken which comes from an Amish farm on the border of Indiana and Ohio. The meat arrives fresh and the final processing happens at the shop. In the shop, they carry most cuts of beef, pork, lamb and chicken. They are known for their specialty sausages which come with natural casings. Meats can be purchased fresh or frozen. They also offer special bulk packages (for freezing.) they also carry a limited amount of locally sourced sauces and rubs in the shop. Prices are really reasonable for freshly sourced products. I stocked up! Morgan said that they have a rewards program that you can sign-up for and gives you future discounts based on purchases.
