They're all blissfully the same. You can find bulk nuts and supplements and fancy chips and interesting food items around every corner. I love Fresh Thyme because they have a lot of the things I'm looking for but can't find elsewhere. They are very good at stocking the fancy items and the things that are hard to find. I was able to get in and out of this grocery store very quickly, thanks to the self-check-out lanes that are available. But there are also real, live people at the checkout lanes to help, as well.

The country music playing which was a little off-theme but it wasn't too loud and you can easily have a conversation across a table. Service was very attentive and food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. Food: For appetizers we got the vegetable pakora and vegetable samosas which were solid. There were 8 pakora per order so super easy to share and 3 samosas which are massive so you can easily split these in half if needed. For those wondering, "momos" are essentially the Tibetan/mongolian version of chinese dumplings which subsequently spread southwest to Nepal. We got the traditional Nepali, Chilli Yak, Chilli Chicken, and Chicken C versions which essentially covered the steamed, fried, and soup style preparations of dumplings. All of them were honestly delicious and different enough from one another we didn't feel like we duplicated flavors. The favorite was the Chilli chicken on if you have to pick just one to try. The traditional nepali thali is a dinner set that comes out on a bronze plate, I got mine with lamb curry which was very tender and not too gamey tasting at all. The basmati rice was fluffy and it comes with daal soup, cauliflower, a fermented pickle relish, and one of those syrup soaked balls (gulab jamun). It is quite filling so come hungry if you order this. The chow mein here is unique. It is NOT like Cantonese chow mein which uses a soy + oyster sauce base but instead the Nepalese version adds ketchup and chili sauce so it actually tastes like a hybrid between the chinese dish and spaghetti. It is actually quite tasty and worth a try if you're a fan of either dish. The naan here comes out a little bit oily but otherwise is fluffy and tasty, did not regret ordering it. Overall this place justifies it's 5 star rating. The flavors are punchy and delicious, the portions are massive, and the prices very reasonable especially the inflation nowadays. Would strongly encourage any to go out of their way to give this place a try.

This is where you find out how rude and accusatory bad staff can be. He started by saying this was a long time ago, he asked if I he'd left them out in the car over night, if i had waited a long time to use them. The answer was no i had a picture take the next day after the label date from the day before. He then told me that I needed to take them as he did not want any rotten meat. So he took the first for poorly trimmed replacement and packaged them up as I was put them in my cold bag he said I need to take the other one with me. I dont know his name but he was a tallest guy in the back. As I left I told the people upfront (again nice people) that after 10 years of buying here I would not be back. We really like the place and want to support local place but bad employees or maybe he was an owner but either this is how you end up with another empty building in a small town.

I ordered the Kao Moo Sam Chan--- grilled marinated pork belly over jasmine rice. The pork belly, cut into thin strips, was tender and mildly sweet. It was delicious, and was accompanied by some sliced baby cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, plus a container of spicy & sour dipping sauce. The owner gave me a heads up on the sauce's heat level, so I used it sparingly and it was a perfect add-on for the pork. Super friendly and helpful owners. Don't sleep on Kanok-- go there!
