I chose this location simply due to proximity and an emergency situation with a cracked molar however it is now the only establishment I would frequent. I myself work in an industry where pricing can be subjective and can change throughout the process due to additional findings; I get it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My ex husband/ policy holder had questions that I was trying to resolve for him by including him in the emails to speed up the process, but they kept dropping him from the email despite me speciffaclly telling them not to and why. As a previous medical administrative proffesional for UTHSC and current Cybersecurity profess I believe that to be carelss and potential HIPPA violation. Also slowing the process down. Appointment took 10 minutes and no sutures that was not told to me until they were wheeling her out. I just had three molars surgically removed and sutures and you can clearly see the difference between the two. She bled through gauze with in minutes. Blood was on the floor, doen her face, down her shirt. It did not feel like care was taken, rather how many people thet can get in and out for money. $2500 for them to rip out four molars in 10 minuted and send her on her way. Her medications were sent to the wrong pharmacy. I called back to requsst the meds to be sent to the correcr Walgreens, twice. That never happened. I ended up rushing to the wrong Walgreens on a Friday evening in rush hour trafdic to get her meds befoee they closed. I also asked for a doctor's note, did not get it until this morning with the March dates. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When i expressed my concerns for the accumalation of mistakes, she said she would pass it along. Scammers... Came here with my boyfriend because they were having a special- two cleanings and exams for $100. They told us that I had three cavities that needed to be filled and my boyfriend had six cavities that needed to be filled and one that needed a crown. They quoted us around $3500 for the both of us. We ended up going to a more reputable family dentist for a second opinion and they told us I had NO cavities and that my boyfriend only had one minor cavity. My husband and I both went to have cleanings done at the same time, but they were very unorganized, doing a small part of my xray, then blood pressure, then his initial xray, then they tried to do my full xrays, but had a hard time (my mouth is small). [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm also hard of hearing, but as many times as i mentioned this, the tech continued to talk to me through her mask, was not friendly at all, and after 20 minutes of unsuccessful xrays, I said to stop so we can get the cleaning in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, she told me that wasn't allowed, the dentist came in and simply said they have to do the xrays to know what kind of cleaning I needed, and refused to do my cleaning without it. I came in for severe wisdom tooth pain. Was seen promptly. And told to wait on a referral for a oral surgeon for who knows how many days. I have conditions that limit what I can take for pain relief and was told to use salt water flushes and wait on a referral. Let me start this review by saying that I am one of the only people in the world who enjoys going to the dentist. There is no better feeling than clean teeth! Because of covid and because of a few moves the past few years, by the time I was able to make my first appointment at 7 to 7, it had been a few years since I had a cleaning. And for someone who had a dentist tell her she was getting TOO many cleanings, it was a long heartbreaking hiatus. Thankfully, there was no judgment, just a journey to better teeth! At this point, I've been going to this 7 to 7 location for about a year. When I had my first appointment back then, I didn't have dental insurance. I still don't and at the price they charge for a year of cleanings, I am hesitant to get dental insurance because I'm pretty the 7 to 7 over the counter price is less expensive over all. The staff has always been absolutely fantastic, friendly, and accommodating. And it feels like they truly care about the health of your teeth, and by extension, your overall health. The whole office feels clean and sanitary. And of course, you leave with a new toothbrush I know it can be a pain in the butt for some people, but try to make appointments as early in the day as possible. That's when I've had the best luck being seen quickly. I know I'm biased about going to the dentist in general, but I do think that 7 to 7 is a good dentist that I enjoy coming back to! read more

I had high hopes for this place as I use to go to 7to7 dental but at a different location. Figured it'd be the same treatment, boy was I wrong. I went in for a check up, staff was friendly, seemed like everyone was knowledgeable. I get quoted for fillings as I had some cavities, more than I could imagine but they're the experts. I get the procedure done and go on my way, which was about $900 by the way, with insurance, for maybe about 6 cavities... I'm realizing this probably should've been the first red flag. Fast forward to maybe a week or two later and I am experiencing even more and worse pain than I was before WITH the "cavities" originally, which didn't seem right at all considering they had just taken care of all of them. I go back in to get them looked at, "Dentist" (I don't remember her name) explains the pain I am feeling is because they got too close to my nerve but did this to avoid me a root canal... I say, "okay well this hurts, I can't really eat let alone drink any cold beverages. What can you do considering y'all continued the procedure with this being known?" She says, "well, it was a risk that comes with the procedure so there is nothing we can do aside from doing a root canal" Second red flag for me, I ask just how much this will cost thinking maybe nothing as much considering it's a mistake they made. They come back with a price tag of $2400.00 for a single root canal... with insurance. I confirmed that was with insurance as well and they said yes and then told me if I didn't like the price to try again next year. That maybe my insurance will cover more. wow. It became clear to me right then and there that this establishment cared for nothing more than their profits and definitely not for the patient. Then they wonder why I never rescheduled my cleaning through them. I encourage you to find another place that will treat you better than this place. Unless you like being viewed as a dollar sign walking through the door then by all means come to this place. Just remember, all services are as is and if they screw your teeth up, it's your fault! :) read more

**Update** her root canal FAILED. She had to be seen by an Endodontist, where they had to go in and put medication deep within her gums to get rid of the infection in her jaw. Maybe, if the dentist paid attention to my daughter's mouth instead of my husband, she wouldn't be having the procedure(s) done all over again. Very distasteful. read more

I went here last year for a cleaning and was told I had a few cavities. They then proceeded to tell me I was going to need a payment plan for the THIRTEEN CAVITIES! I feel like I have pretty good brushing habits and hygiene so i told them I would get a second opinion. My new dentist said I had zero cavities. I don't know if all the dentists here are crooks but the lady I saw was trying to rip me off. You don't go from 13 to 0 cavities in six months without dental work. Be aware. The sad part of this review is that I really like these people, however, this was not a fun visit. I went for a Crown and ended up having a horrible experience. Dr. Shehab is normally really good, however, he didn't get me numbed up correctly and I was in excrutiating pain during the procedure. He stopped and gave me another injection and then things went fine. I also had a cleaning scheduled, so I was there for 2.5 hours! Afterwards, they fitted me with a temporary crown...which promptly fell off. They reaffixed it and I went home and at 7:30 pm it fell off again. I called but everyone had left by then. I got up early the next morning and went in about 7:15 AM...had to wait an hour, but they put the temporary crown back in and so far it has stayed put. Like I said in the beginning...I really like these people...just wish the quality of the work would equal their high prices. read more

This office overcharged me for a root canal. My insurance has contacted this office and verified they overcharged me. This dentist is in network with my insurance and my insurance told them they need to reimburse me as they overcharged me nearly $700!!!! When I call and ask for the reimbursement I was told they will decide if they owe me anything. They wanted an "EOB" form from my insurance and so with them both on the line o gave my insurance the dentist office fax number and my insurance sent the form at that very second. First I didn't have dental but they still charged me a cost for the "free" exam. Then I got dental but they said they were cheaper so I canceled my insurance to go with theirs. The original cost was really fair - about $1500 for 2 cavities, an to fix 2 crowns. I was about to do that when a family member got sick and those funds necessitated going to him. Everyone at this office is super friendly! I get anxiety going to the dentist but they made this a wonderful experience. Brenda was my hygienist and she did a fantastic job! I've had lots of cleanings in my life but never anything so gentle and thorough. I used to like going to the dentist, never had a fear of getting fillings but this dental office has changed that. I have been seen by Dr Shehab who started this mess and now Dr. kassim. All I needed was three fillings and I have now been seen 6 times and have a pending 7th appt. They do not listen to you and try to blame the mistakes of their dentist on you. I feel discriminated as I have tattoos and I feel the way they look down on people and do not listen to what they are needing. I will be filing a formal complaint through Texas state board of dental examiners and hopefully something is done. Once this is fixed I'll never be back to a 7-7 again. Please don't go here. Scheduled a small filling that was needed. After being there for an hour and a half. They took one x-ray then wrote up a dental plan for three other "healthy teeth" (that they don't have x-rays for) and sent my husband on his way with a quote for $5,200... they agreed the tooth needed a filling, but tried telling my husband he would need full dentures across the front for it to look right. The filling is on the backside of the tooth. I am a licensed, registered dental assistant, and I can for one tell you all of this is bullshit and they are just trying to get as much money as they can from insurances. This place is a scam and a joke... I'm curious how much they're going to bill my insurance for today's visit. I also find it very rude how we were scheduled for a procedure yet only saw the doctor for 45 seconds. Went to 7 to 7 Dental this morning at 7:00 a.m. for a Root Canal and was pleasantly surprised to see the office was already open before 7:00. Went right in and was set up for the procedure. Dr. Shehab was very pleasant and explained the procedure and what he was doing through the procedure. They let me take a break to run to the rest room and then it went quickly after that. The office staff was so nice and helpful. They made sure we are all protected during this crazy virus time. Xrays went smoothly and the dentist dr murray, she is the tooth fairy queen. I went and got 4 extractions and the numbing was so easy n i was out in less then an hour n half. I felt nothing at all. Im home and relaxing . This business is a scam. My husband and I tried out this new dentist August 14, 2019 for a basic dental cleaning and panoramic imaging to help support our community and new businesses. They told him since he is a new patient there is no charge or copay to us. They did a basic cleaning and imaging on 8/14/2019 and tried to scam him to due tooth colored filling to teeth (3,4,5,), preventive restoration (2,3,4,5), preventive restoration teeth (12, 13,14, 15), tooth colored filling (12,13), preventive restoration teeth (30,31) with an estimated total $890.10 . We were scared and worried, so we went to Advanced dental associates, phone (210) 655-2753 for a second opinion and they told him his teeth was fine and did not need further teeth worked on or restoration at the time. FAST FORWARD a year later, they sent me a bill 8/10/2020 for $431 and sent the bill they just mailed out to me to collections. I have all documented proof. They also, charge my BCBS federal insurance plan $200 dollars for the dental cleaning and basic imaging service August 2019. I am a federal employee and it is my duty to disclose this unjustifiable, disturbing, unethical, unprofessional dental service at this pandemic time 8/20/2020. It saddens me how a chain dental facility like this lets their billing department and manager scam people who serve veterans, military families and civilians. Having a Masters degree, I am also a medical professional.
