Hi. About a year ago, we passed the highway sign for 700 Credit Repair on my way to a Dr. Appointment. On our way back, we stopped in, totally unannounced, wondering what we would find. To our delight, we found an office full of folks hard at work. We were able to meet with Hal Weaver, who explained their services to us in depth. Trust me, I had many tough questions for him to answer and, when he didn't have the answer, he would put me in touch with someone who could help me. We decided to go with their home purchase program, and started the process. When we began this journey, both of our credit scores were in the mid 500's. Product of bad divorces. Our goal was to have a home within a year of signing up. During the first 6 months of our journey, our scores improved to the mid 600's. After our program ended, we hadn't found a house yet, so we went on a 6 month maintenance plan to further improve our scores in order to be better mortgage candidates. I paid a lot for the program were they guarantee you to bring your credit score up to qualify to buy a home and they told me its guaranteed that if after they finish the first 6 months its wasn't up enough to qualify to buy a home they would do an additional 6 months for free but it wasn't true. After my first 6 months were up my score wasn't high enough and when I called them to discuss the additional 6 months they would not return my call. A month past after I constantly called them and left messages and finally gave up and came to the conclusion that I was lied to. Me and my fianceé went to them looking for someone to help us to built our credit for us to get our dream home since we are tired to paid for someone else. We explained them the situation we have and their agent Vincent Morris told us that don't worry we are here to help to fix your credit to get your score up and they were expert to clean bankruptcy and clean anything bad on your report . They guarantee us that our credit we will reach up to 700.. They ask us to get into the program for 6 months and we paid around $2,400 including a website that we supposed to check our credit every month. Also they ask you to apply to a club of jewelry to get your credit score up that only went up a few points. After our 6 month when the time was almost up our credit wasn't up at all. We went to their office looking for answer to our questions and always give us excuses and supposed that they were going to help, and as today nothing at all. Please be cautious!! This company was suppose to get our credit scores up to at least 700, it was in our guarantee. To begin we had them look at our credit report to see they could help us with the few items that we had not been able to clear ourselves. Our sales lady took it to someone above her to look at it. She came back with the 700 score guarantee as they were so sure they could accomplish what we wanted. About 3 months into our 6 month agreement, we were contacting them as nothing was happening with responses to their letters to creditors. We had a very hard time communicating with our contact which happens when that person no longer works there and no one bothers to answer emails or return calls. When we reached a processor, we were told not to worry the process would work. We then went to the lady who sold us on program. By this time we were nearly our 6 month commitment. She gave us to another counselor who went a totally different direction on recommendations than we had been told since the beginning. Regardless, we did what she asked. Our guarantee time of 6 months comes to an end so we try to reach owner. We are strung along by his assistant as he puts her in middle and won't speak with us. I would not recommend this credit repair company to anyone. When your 700 credit score is not reached, this is when it gets tricky. I have been waiting months for Billy to contact me and he has not. It is unprofessional to not answer calls and pass messages to me by someone else. He is the manager and that's who I wanted to talk with me. I would not recommend this company to anyone. If I could give less stars than one I would do it. This company is nothing but a rip off and a scam. I was referred to this company by a friend (who is no longer my friend after this). I was unfortunate enough to end up talking to Vince. He couldn't explain the programs to me and didn't seem very knowledgeable about the process. I enrolled hoping for the best. They certainly had no problem taking my money quickly but after months I haven't heard from anyone about anything! After many phone calls to them I was told they're running months behind on everything......but they're not running behind on taking my money every month that's for sure!! The owners are only out for the money and will tell you anything to get it. Their focus seems to be on cashing in on your bad situation. I've heard stories about Billy and how badly he treats his employees. He can't keep anybody there because he rips them all off. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!! I did this program on the referral on someone working with Palm Harbor. I was told that I was Guaranteed to be able to get a home loan when the process was complete. The program was to last 6 months up to a year depending on how much work was to be done but that if I was unable to get into a home at the end, my money would be refunded. THEY LIED! First, they forget to point out that the small print says if a collection agency puts something new on your credit report during the 6-12 months, the guarantee is forfeit. My problem came when something from 5 yrs ago that was on one of my reports suddenly showed up on another. They said this was NEW, not to my way of thinking if it was already on 1 report at the start. They did do another "round" to try and get it corrected but then told me I was on my own after I had spent over 1 grand. I would not recommend these services to anyone EVER! read more
