Oleksandra was the main person who treated me and she made me feel very comfortable and never once made me feel bad, and the treatment held as little pain as possible with Electrolysis! Electrolysis is even a great price here compared to other regions. I had to stop going due to moving back to London Ontario, and I'm really going to miss going here. I had an incredibly frustrating and disheartening experience with Skin Vitality in St. Catharines…read more I went in for a consultation March 21 2025 for lip filler and was offered a "zero money down" payment plan through Affirm. What they NEVER mentioned to me was that this plan is non-cancellable. The lady never discussed the refund policy, exchange policy...nothing! I was guided through the Affirm setup on my phone right there sitting in her office before signing any paperwork and then handed a document flipped upside down, told to sign it--no explanation, no transparency. I take responsibility for not reading both sides of the paper, but their approach was clearly designed to rush the process. The entire sale felt very pressured and rush and they left out vital information. Only *15 minutes* (literally!) after leaving the clinic, I called to cancel because I felt overwhelmed and realized I wasn't ready to commit to lip filler. I've never had anything done to my face, and the anxiety hit me hard. At this point, no payment had been processed and no service was rendered. Still, they absolutely refused to cancel the Affirm contract. I've gone back and forth with their patient care team and Sarah Papageorge, and there has been zero empathy or flexibility. They continue to insist that I signed and must pay--even though I reached out immediately. The only option they offered was to use the credit on a different service, which I do not want. I don't feel comfortable having anything else done with a clinic that treats people this way. The fact that they have no refund policy and refuse to work with Affirm to cancel a plan when no services were provided is appalling. This situation is absolutely ridiculous! I filed a BBB complaint and Skin Vitality gave a generic FALSE response saying things about the contract that were not true and stated I was verbally told about the cancellation policies which I was not! It was never mentioned in the consultation! Also, I advised them that I confirmed im pregnant and can not safely have anything done and they have completely ignored that. Never acknowledged it! What type of business refuses to look at a client case by case and make reasonable exceptions? Im in disbelief and appalled. Look on BBB and there are several other complaints about this payment plan and how people are locked into it without any exceptions. They clearly care more about profit than people. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear. Their customer service is cold, dismissive, and completely lacks compassion. Avoid Skin Vitality at all costs.

This will not apply to people who have only ever been to this establishment with no other point of reference. I've been getting LHR done for about 7 years now. I'm in the bi yearly touch up phase. I'm originally from Toronto and I've been to about 3 different places for laser, all of which in possession of the same machine, the alma soprano, whether it's the ice or platinum--so this isn't my first rodeo, I know a lot about this machine. Let's start by saying the new facility is very nice, very clean and I have nothing bad to say about that. It was my first time here and it looked great. The girl who did my laser, also very nice and professional. She was sweet. Do I think she knows what she's doing? God no. I asked for a Brazilian, full buttocks and cleavage area. I walked into my appointment at 130 and left at 145, this includes getting out of and into my clothes as well as paying. I was wondering why on their website they tout being the FASTEST but didn't give it too much heed. I have never in my life gotten laser done that fast, ever. All the technicians that have been doing this for almost a decade to me have gone in and taken their TIME with EACH section. Though she was lovely, the nurse's technique was absolutely atrocious. It was a couple swipes here and a couple swipes there and you're all done. TMI when Ive gotten my Brazilian lasered in the past, the ladies go IN. They are focusing on literally every section and follicle, they move you around in different positions to make sure they get it all, they make sure before putting on the gel that the hair has been shaved properly and everything looks the way it should, and they take their TIME while still going "fast". They KNOW what they're doing. Girl what if I had herpes or something or a cut or I was bleeding? And now you use this machine on others. I was expecting some sort health questionnaire that places usually give out...nothing. At one point she accidentally lasered a spot that didn't have any gel and it HURTTT. The gel was haphazardly removed after and yes, she did give me towels to do it myself but it just felt so... amateur? That's the best way to describe it. I left feeling so angry and disappointed because what a waste of money. There were DEFINITELY spots that were not touched by that machine that should've been. Did I say anything? No. Why would I? It's not her fault, whoever trained her did a horrible job, and with a machine and procedure as sensitive as laser hair removal, I wasn't going to tell her to "do it properly" and "go in for longer" and essentially tell her how to do her job at the risk of getting burned, especially after feeling like she just wasn't good at it to begin with. My experience is my experience and if this works for the people who have been getting it done here, I'm happy for you. But my middle eastern/south Asian brothers and sisters who know what our hair growth can be like...this place ain't it. I live in Niagara now, but I'll 100% make my drive back up to the GTA to get it done there instead. Sorry.
