Not sure how I feel about this place…read more.... There is nowhere to really sit some tables would be nice besides these plastic chairs. You can not self load your card with a debit/credit card, you have to go to the counter. It is a bit too cold for my liking.....maybe turn the heat up?? After all it's currently 30° The machines aren't all that large & look very old. No vending machines.....it would be nice to grab a tea, water, small snack & not have to drag my kids down the walkway in the frigid temps. Dryers are awful & don't dry worth pretty disappointing when you have to go to another place to finish what you can't here..... Oh well onto the next place next weekend....not sure I'll be back here. Also you cant put small nominations onto your card! What if you don't use all the money & have no plans to come back?? Do I just toss the money aside Definitely won't be back......update your machines pronto

He also engaged me in conversation and showed me a feature on his machines that allows customers to eliminate coins and dollar bills by using an app and loading funds to it. It's a feature any smart and savvy business owner would employ if they're concerned about coin machine abuse, or if they want to be competitive and cutting edge in their operations. This app is called PayRange and operates through the use of Bluetooth on your smartphone. You physically start the machine but after that it's all technology. You are given an elapsed time showing how many minutes remain before the wash cycle finishes. It will show you which machines are being used, and using the laundromat at certain times warrants special savings determined in the app. And the best part, I had PayRange at the apartment building I just spent the last 7 years in. This app is on my phone with an account that is still active. This place is clean and a lot larger inside than it looks on the outside. There are soda and snack machines for your use, and a neat little cafe area with restaurant-style benchs and a couple of full-size arcade machines. The machines were pretty fast. I think 24 minutes for the wash cycle, and 8 minutes for the drying. Washing varies in cost from $3.50 upward and dryers cost .25 cents per cycle. Oh, and the dryers are very hot. Depending on the thickness of your textiles and the volume in the tub you're not going to be feeding these dryers with many quarters, which makes this very economical! It was a pleasure to visit this place and get something done that I had procrastinated for so long to do. And needless to say it served as redemption from the laundromat visit that preceeded it. It is bright, clean, quiet, and staffed. They do have several sizes of machines ranging in price from $3.75 to 11.00 wash. (11 is like a Ferris wheel!) drying is .75 per 13 minutes. Dryers are hot and 13-20 mins is good to go even for towels. Carts are readily available. Clean floor if you drop something. Everyone has access to folding area. Bathrooms are clean but need a swipe from an attendant. Vending machines available and reasonably priced. Tv is on low if you're interested, background music is low. Chickens play area. Several walls of washers and dryers. I got 10 loads done in 2 hours! Spendy ok, but have you ever hand washed 10 loads... let's weigh the options here. Detergent is available, bleach, oxi clean, and even laundry bags... all for a small price. Also have drop off service. It is credit card or add dollars to a swipe. My cc didn't like the 10+ authorizations. Definitely a non creepy, bright light, reasonably busy on a Saturday laundromat. Would recommend.

I was lured by the pictures and reviews. But I am a laundromat veteran of late. You walk in…read morethrough the automatic doors and immediately you are hit with a commode smell. I don't know if the doors are next to a bathroom or if the rugs have been soaked with the scent of Chicago's Montrose park public bathrooms, but it smells. The plusses are the ample parking. You're not going to have any issues finding a nice roomy spot, the lot is yuge. Another plus are the machines and dryers are on the new-ish side. Not too much dryer gunk (chewing gum-like material stuck to the dryer drum). There are a lot of machines, so even if crowded, things can move fast. The reason for the 2 stars are thus: the place is not clean. The floors always have trash. It's not a tidy place. This might be due to the staff who do their best to pretend not to ignore you. They're too busy doing the drop off service that they don't sweep up or help customers. The other bad thing is the DIABOLICAL LAUNDRY CARD. This is a card that you load up with money to use the machines. You have to permanently lose time off your life, TIME that you will never get back, trying to get the card to read on the machine readers. It is extremely oppressive and is designed to make you question the meaning of your life. This laundromat is the equivalent of the egg salad at a gas station. You're hungry and you think you'll be ok. The only reason why I've been here 3 times is because the card has a balance. I refuse to leave a cent to this place, even if the scent it gives me is unpleasant.
