There is free Wi-Fi. There is a change machine, a supply vending machine (dryer sheets, detergent, etc.), a pop machine, and a snack machine. The chairs in the waiting area are pretty uncomfortable, but there is a TV to watch and the climate control is good, not too hot, not too cold, with lots of ceiling fans. I found the machines to be fast and reasonably priced. My clothes came out very clean. It's currently $2 per load to wash and $0.25 for 10 minutes in the dryer. The owners/management are very friendly. You can tell that they truly care. The place would be perfect, if they would replace the horribly worn out blue plastic chairs in the waiting area. read more

Owner is very rude and condescending. Machines are the fancy new kind that don't use enough water to wash the clothes - except when laundry king had the same model numbers the machines weren't set so bad, so it's intentional, EW. Six dollars for the full cycle on the smallest machine, 6 mins per 25 cents on dry. Pick anywhere else BEFORE you're conned out of your money. read more

Decided to give Kingsport a try while in town this time. Pros: the cheapest cost per load washers and dryers you'll find just about anywhere. Free Wi-Fi so you can soak in the summer internet rays while your clothes spin around and around! Cons: no bathroom. Aka, don't hydrate before coming here. I drink 100oz+ a day and was shocked to find out there was no bathroom when I arrived and needed to go! (Badly) Seriously, not having a public bathroom is a huge ding for me, this shouldn't even be a question. I had to get creative in the alley behind a dumpster. Not cool, not cool. Cons: no paper money / bill changer: luckily the folks at the "Good Foot Spa" next door were kind enough to change a $20 bill for me. Otherwise I would have been rocking $17 in quarters needlessly and would have ended up jinglin' through town like Santa! Again, this is pretty inexcusable for a laundromat. Cons: the non gargantuan sized regular $2 machines looked at least 30 years old and are likely not getting clothes super clean and are most certainly energy INefficient rated. Although they did have slightly larger and newer $2.75 machines, 2 out the 6 were labeled as out of service. I would imagine at peak times customers may be forced to use the smaller ones from the dark ages. Cons: they were "out" of fabric softener sheets. Since I forgot mine my under armor workout shirts will be all clingy this week. No bueno! Cons: the parking lot is entirely in complete disrepair with potholes everywhere. I just had my oil pan cover replaced because of a parking lot pothole - so this alone will actually keep me out of this shopping center entirely in the future. I certainly won't return. Since there's nobody that seems to be at the location you're probably SOL if you feed in money and don't get your wash or dry. So there's that too. Recommendations to owners: 1) install bathroom for customer use 2) install bill changer for customer use 3) ensure you're stocked with supplies like fabric softener sheets. 4) consider upgrading equipment 5) put pressure on the property management company of the strip mall to fix the parking lot. Pro Tip - they DO have Wi-Fi but if you don't look closely for the signs next to the clothes folding stations you won't know what network to look for as the wireless network isn't labeled clearly for the business. They also have a pretty complex numeric password which is kinda annoying. This is the best and most accurate review on Yelp of this place. Granted I'm slightly biased because I'm me. But seriously, I poured my heart and soul into this review, posted numerous photos with price points of the different machines, too. I hate living in a condo and using the community washing machine/dryer. It's never available when you need it and there's always someone who leaves their clothes for hours. It's the reason why I ended up making a trip to the laundromat at Kingsport Coin Laundry. The sign says it all, LAUNDRY. Kingsport is straight forward with plenty of washers and dryers from regular to mega loads. They range from newer shiny machines to others that are probably older than me. I appreciated that it wasn't crowded and there were two flat screen TVs. Here's a pro tip: once your laundry is done, split your laundry into different dryers. For the same cost, you can have your clothes dry in half the time. It's $.25 cents for every 10 minutes so you can get one load done in 20 minutes by separating it them into smaller loads. It's a better ratio from clothes to heat. Your welcome. Maybe if it was cleaner, had WiFi available, cable TV, and some random good looking people, then I think it would be five star worthy. Otherwise, Kingsport serves its purpose. read more

Beware before coming here. The prices for the washers are ridiculously high. I came here hoping to wash some laundry not get scammed into giving away all of my change. I'm not sure why people are raving about new machines. There are only 6 new machines. I always did laundry at laundry king which has over 50 washers. They are cheaper and my clothes come out cleaner here. I pay 25 dollars each time I do laundry start to finish at laundry king. I paid over 40 here. The coin exchanger sucks. Despite putting in a fresh crisp new bill I had to beg the machine to give me quarters. Never again. read more

This is my very first review I do on Yelp. I felt like I had to leave a review after my experience in Kingsport coin laundry. I recently moved to Schaumburg and was looking for a laundry mat close to me, I decided to give Kingsport a try. The laundry mat is always clean. I have gone at different times and this laundry mat is always kept tidy and clean. The hours are perfect for me, I usually go in the morning, but they are open from 5am-11pm. The prices are reasonable and the tv is a plus, the remote control is accesible so you are able to change the channels. They also have a drop off service, but I have not tried it yet. You know how sometimes you go into a business and when it meets all your needs such as, cleanliness, machine accommodation, lighting, machines fully stocked with detergent, snacks, and drinks? Well, this place is always a clean, comfortable environment. No loitering and dirty machines. I had the fortunate opportunity to meet the owner Tony, and he was one of the kindest sincere business owners I've met in a long time. He extended his hand to shake mine! That doesn't happen too often anymore. I'm old school and that's how you welcome and show appreciation to your patrons. He said he's the new owner! They don't even deserve half a star. Were very rude when we got there at 6:15 to dry clothes after we called to see if they were open. The male owner answered the phone and said they were open til 7. When we pulled up the female owner I'm assuming ran out waving her arms saying they were closed when there were other people in there putting clothes into the dryers. Wouldn't allow me to dry 3 loads of laundry. Will not go back and will be sure to get the word out about the way I was treated. read more

Simply stated, this place was clean, relatively affordable, and owners responded quickly when called about empty coin machine. There was a variety of different washers so that anyone can find the right washer and price for their needs.
