This was our first stop upon landing in Puerto Rico! My boyfriend wanted to try the rum coffee! We learned that the rum is cooked so the alcohol is actually cooked out, but either way it was delicious! This location is very hip and modern! If I come back to PR, I will come back
We were so excited to try the hype of the coffee pouches. They're so fun and creative and where else can you drink coffee from a pouch?! I love that you can choose your coffee blend. The coffee itself is incredible and their concept is what makes them stand out. Read about them first then go enjoy the awesome beverages.
Excellent coffee with some alcohol infused beans (although alcohol is roasted off if that makes sense). Really cute shop and great sweet customer service. The coffee in a pouch is so cute!
Such a cute coffe shop! It was on my bucket list to visit. All of the drinks were so intriguing! The various flavors included Pina Colada Latte and liquor infused ones as well. I decided to get what their Most Popular drink, the Coquito Latte. All of the drinks come in a resealable bag with a straw. Shortly, after I ordered the line trailed outside. And there was only one person working, taking orders and making the drinks. He was so patient with all of the customers! Although the line was out the door, he still gave them time to decide, gave recommendations, and spoke kindly. We waited about 10-15 minutes for our drinks, understandably so. The interior was so cute!! I love the lighting, very warm and cozy. They had lots of indoor seating and an outdoor patio. Inside near the neon sign, they had cute swings and a bar table with a window. Great place for cute pictures or just to people watch while sipping on a cup of joe! The coffee was so refreshing! Very strong coffee flavor, good balance of milk. And the Coquito syrup was very sweet!! It tasted like a kick of dessert in my coffee. The only thing I didn't like was the constant separation. The syrup wouldn't mix with the coffee at all- We kept shaking the bag and mixed it with our straw, but it'd still end up at the bottom of the bag. But other than that, super yummy!! Will be back to try different flavors!! MUST TRY IN PR!
The horchata latte was flavorful and really good, however it was the most expensive latte I've ever purchased at $11. Not sure why I was charged so much either and I was not able to see how much the syrup and oat milk cost. Everything there was super expensive though. I got a bag of coffee beans to bring back home and got charged $45. Stickers were $8 and it just all seemed overpriced. The barista and cashier were very friendly and nice. The shop itself is super cute inside and a good place to hang out when they're not totally slammed.
I got the coquito latte with rum & oat milk and it was regular. I was not able to taste the rum flavor since the alcohol is probably all diffused out in the process. There was only one person making the drinks & charging at the register so be prepared to wait a little. The inside was cute.
Ordené una macha latte con hielo con la cajera. Ella y el otro cajero atendiéndome fueron muy amables conmigo. La matcha: no me gusta cuando el polvo matcha ya tiene azúcar mezclado en el porque se pone demasiado dulce. Sabía rico de todos modos. El café está bonito adentro.
I come here every time I'm in Puerto Rico. Their flavors are excellent, and the coffee is smooth. It's a great spot to take pictures with the neon signs and swings. Every time I go, the people are so friendly. I heard it's not a Puerto Rican business, but they do well here.
Coffee is great; service is extremely slow ! Waited 30 plus minutes to just order. There were two people in front, one on cash and one on bar who kept leaving to go to the back for long periods of times . She (xia) wasn't friendly and when we asked her a question she answered and walked off the bar in the middle of making our drinks saying what the fxck. Then we realized they actually had a third person but he was just standing on the side and when we asked if he works, he laughed and said I do and proceeded to take a selfie .
787 coffee shop was located 3 blocks from our airbnb and what a Lucky find. this place is definitely well known by locals and Tourists alike cause it was busyyyyyy. it's super trendy and the have something special. I got a Tres Leche with oat milk latte and my sister in law got a Horchata and they were both so tasty I opted for the rum infused beans for both and since they're mixed and bagged in those bags, I didn't know what to expect when it came to sweetness, but they were mixed with just the perfect amount of sugar and not too sweet but remember if you were going, you will probably wait online because it's so busy and there's not too many people on staff, but it's definitely worth it
I just love 787 coffee and sad it is not as accessible to be in New Jersey as I would like to be event though they did open one out here but sort of far and I don't have a car but on the other hand went to Bistro cafe near by and saw they had open this location! Came here Sunday morning after a night with Benito and waited on this line which took 30 minutes or so to get our order in. Yes, it's in a very popular spot and many people know it but it's worth it. The ambiance in their locations are always amazing. Service is friendly, they did happen to not take my boyfriends order and it tol longer but none the less, everything tasted amazing and I will always recommend this spot whether you are in PR, NY, or NJ!
This was a charming and colorful café. Not only do they farm their own coffee, but they also believe in the power of coffee to bring creative minds together--a philosophy that adds to the warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features was their unique selection of drinks, including rum-infused coffee and dulce de leche, both of which were absolutely delicious. Their cafe also had a great variety of items to take home, making it more than just a coffee stop--it was an experience. The service was excellent. I'll definitely be back.
Highly recommended having ice cold or hot coffee or even matcha!! So many options for syrups or milk options! Great place to enjoy coffee inside or outside area! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable with drink options! Great delicious pastries to enjoy with coffee!!

Two coffees for $18. One was a 12oz hot coffee infused with rum and the other was a 16oz iced coffee with rum horchata. Both tasted really good, but just on the pricier side. The service was great. The person who took our order was very patience and happy to explain to us the different rum options available since they didn't have cream or hazelnut. Inside was cozy although we didn't sit down drink cause the line was out the door and it just seemed like to much traffic leading up to the counter to sit in. read more

The coffee comes in a plastic bag with a straw. It leaks, it's impossible to hold. As soon as you open it, you can't apply any pressure to the bag or it all squirts out the top. Good luck trying to take it to go and drink it on your morning drive. Just use a cup next time people. The coffee is bitter and they got my order wrong. Won't repeat. read more

He the coquito latte with rum. Amazing! Service was great too. The barista made good convo and broke down how the coffee was made. The latte didn't feel artificial at all. Felt like authentic coquito with light rum in it. Didn't feel drunk, which is great and meant it wasn't too overpowering, but left feeling "nice." Had the latte before heading over to Bistro Cafe, a few doors down. Just make sure to drink your coffee before you go to the cafe or after because you can't have it in the restaurant. read more

Me and and my family came here after the beach because we wanted a drink and I got the iced matcha latte with oat milk and it was delicious 10/10 and we also had their banana bread and it was amazing, I usually looks out for what I eat but this was an exception it was really good, Definitely recommend come here and the place itself is very beautiful read more

Was frantically searching for food and coffee on New Years Day. Turns out, almost everything is closed even if it says they are open on google. However, 787 was one of the few places open and actively serving coffee. Love love LOVE the decor and overall ambiance. I think there was a lot of thought put into the creation of this space and it shows. I didn't realize this, but 787 has 19 locations in New York as well. I ordered the mocha latte along with a guava pastry. The coffees came our relatively quickly. Compared to the other coffee I've had along the island, this mocha was one of my least favorites. My cup had heavy syrup on the bottom and I wished it was incorporated more into the drink. I love light sweetness and I think the drink gave that, just hated to swamp at the bottom. The pastry was so tasty and was pretty large for the price. My father ordered the chocolate chip cookie and it was to die for. Honestly, probably my favorite cookie... ever. It was large and had THICK chocolate chunks in it which I am never opposed to. We ended up taking two cookies for the road because we liked them so much. Would recommend 787 coffee. read more

I was so happy to stumble across 787 Coffee. I had just said to my friend "I need a cute place for coffee" and a few minutes later, we saw this place. It was perfect. It's super cute and cozy inside. We were there somewhat early-ish in the morning and people were already working away at their laptops. There is a tiny parking lot in front. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. I love that there are sweet and savory breakfast options. We ordered a quesito de guayaba and a quesito de almendra, along with a caprese empanada. Everything was delicious and I loved the empanada. I ordered an iced latte with almond milk and my friend got a coffee. We enjoyed both. 787 Coffee is a fantastic find and I highly recommend when in San Juan. read more

Some coffee and chill while we wait for brunch. This fresh squeezed OJ was either made on 12/12/21 or expired on 12/12/21. It's January 2nd of 2022. Not what I would call fresh at all for it being over 16 days old. Grabbed another OJ that was made on December 31st, so it's only a couple of days old. The peppermint cold brew with oat milk is decent. $5.50 for the cold brew. The OJ doesn't taste so fresh even though it was supposedly made 2 days ago. OJ was $4.50. read more

In love with this place! The whiskey infused or rum infused coffee does not actually have alcohol in them which is nice. The whisky infused Coquito is incredibly creamy and delicious! The cake is moist and I can't believe I found this place on my last day in PR! I need to come back for this! read more

When in PR 787 Coffee is a MUST. I tried their coquito latte and it was impeccable. The staff was so welcoming and patient with me as it was my first time having their coffee. I hope they expand to California sometime in the future because I crave it all the time haha. read more

Best coffee I had on my stay, first day got a coffee for me and my wife. Next day came back and got 3 different styles espresso shots before bringing back my wife her expertly crafted capuchino. The roast taste of deep dark chocolate and bright coco. Grapefruit peel can be tasted at the end of the swallow with little lingering citrus after. While traveling it's hard to find places that roast the beans grown regionally. Look no further than 787, not only are their roasts top notch their baristas steam a mean cup of milk and pull a velvet smooth shot! Not to mention their latte art is in point. There is also a selection of baked goods and some breakfast treats including a vegan empanada! I altered my morning 3 days in a row just to insure I ended with this liquid gold running down my tongue ! read more
Really enjoyed the rich and creamy latte, but not the kind of bland cold brew. So I would recommend getting espresso based drinks here. The service could be a bit slow when the shop was busy. Still happy to see a good coffee shop near the beach. read more

Island time is used here. Come to be chill and with good spirits. The wait will be worth it. It's a quaint coffee shop off the main road in Isla Verde. We ordered 2 regular cafe con leche and bacon and cheese sandwiches. They were simple but had flavor. The barista was quiet yet nice. read more

Super cute on a busy intersection this cafe is a complete vibe! While waiting on my husband I stopped by here for some quick coffee and was pleasantly surprised. The lady at the counter was super sweet and patient. She help me out with my order and worked quick to get it out. I didn't have to wait long or anything. Plus, the coffee was delicious too. Great spot to work and study, would definitely recommend as a cool spot to relax. ¡Súper lindo en una intersección concurrida, este café es un ambiente completo! Mientras esperaba a mi esposo, pasé por aquí para tomar un café rápido y me sorprendió gratamente. La señora del mostrador fue súper amable y paciente. I first had 787 in New York, and I ALWAYS make time for it when I'm in the city, so you KNOW I has to stop by in Puerto Rico. Nothing compares to their coquito latte. Creamy, sweet and perfect every time for that morning/ mid day pick me up, plus they always have the swings and neon lights for vibes. read more

We always have to visit this shop when we are in San Juan. The coffee is locally grown and processed in Puerto Rico. The coquito and dulce de leche iced lattes are delicious and the ambiance and decor in the small shop are very cool. read more

Quaint little coffee shop with a local vibe. The coffee was delicious and serving the iced drinks in the bags makes it taste so much better. Must just be the change of pace! I had the dulce de leche latte and my husband had the coquito latte (he added two extra shots). Both were really delicious! The chicken empanada was tender and flaky and so good that we ordered another one! Thankful that the kind young lady at the register recommended it to us! read more
