Pancakes. Looks great but a tad cold and dry

Coffee was good and tried an egg sandwich and pancakes as a side cause they were little. I posted what I thought on each picture.

The place is super cute and thr staff is nice. The coffee, so so. My husband said he liked his, but my latte tasted watered down. Glad I tried it, don't need to come back.

Latte was great, matcha pretty sweet so great if you like that. Food was very average. The bread was actually pretty good and the highlight. Would give 3.5

Convenient location. You can walk in and order from the kiosk or go up to the counter and place your order with staff. Cozy ambiance and great choices. It's a great cafe to grab a bite to eat and some coffee with pastries.

I went to this very cozy Puertorican style bakery to eat a Spanish Caldo Gallego. The service was good. Unfortunately, although the Caldo Gallego looked very good, it was extremely, extremely salty. When I told the guy at the counter, he did not apologize. He didn't even say a word back to me or offered a refund.

Food came out quick. But, ultimately, it was average. There's better breakfast around here, but this is convenient. The star fruit, passion fruit, mango refresher was a delight though!

Great food and drinks. Good spot for breakfast / brunch. Staff is friendly and the ambiance is very cute! Lots of space inside and great service! Their strawberry matcha drink is a MUST-TRY! Waffles are delicious!!

Only stopped by for the coffee, which was great! They have milk substitution options here as well. Unique decor. Has a lovely outdoor seating area. It is attached to the residence Inn but not inside the hotel.

Friendly service. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor (much more than the Condado location). Sandwiches, coffee, and cakes. They sell an individual baguette, but strangely no Sabao soft bread.

We stopped by for food otw to the airport. The restaurant is inside or adjacent to a hotel. It has an elevated modern design. The food was good but priced higher than other similar restaurants. My coffee was weak. The oatmeal was good. Service to go took a little longer than expected. It seemed like they had a rush of customers at the time we went.

Hands down, my favorite breakfast spot in Puerto Rico! The food is always delicious--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. And the coffee? Absolutely amazing. Smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed every time. Whether I'm grabbing breakfast, a mid-day bite, or just stopping in for a great cup of coffee, this place never disappoints. A must-visit every time I'm on the island!

Pastries were yummy, service was on point, ambiance is great! Clean eating area, tables were cleaned quickly as people left. Friendly staff. Good pre-flight stop.

The restaurant is spacious with colorful and expressive art all over the walls. You're hearing Latin music in the background there's a large bar in the left corner. The menu is big, there's so much that you would want to try so go with the big party. Your offered three different styles of plant proteins when you order your traditional dish. We had the Pasteles, Mofongo, ALcapurria and Sorullitos. Everything came out hot and fresh. The Mofongo was out of this world. And I make Mofongo. The Alcapurria was delicious of Smith's first time having it. The portions are large enough to share. Or have leftovers. You are so lucky to meet the owner. The super friendly gentleman he gave us the backstory of why he started this restaurant. Changing his diet helped him recover from cancer. And it was about the way he ate. So he wanted to share this opportunity with meat eaters. So the whole goal of his restaurant is vegan food for meat eater so they can see that they are not missing anything. The owner also is a famous DJ. He has a talk show radio. And he's been doing it since the 70s. It was a lovely experience my Bestie found this restaurant for me. Because I'm a vegan/sometimes pescatarian. I don't get to try all the foods. It was such a lovely experience.

The good thing first- the line goes through fairly quickly considering how busy they were the day I was there, Sunday July 19, 2026, and parking was plentiful. Service was fine, cleanliness was good. The bad. Way overpriced for this region. There are plenty of bakeries in Puerto Rico offering the same things at half the price. The worst. The food quality sucked. Jugo de China Natural usually means squeezed to order. It was squeezed ahead of time and served with ice without being asked. Fresh squeezed orange juice is best served room temp. A good one will still be a little foamy on the top with very low acidity Ham and Cheese on Mayorca Bread- a staple of PR breakfast. Traditionally served pressed with a little powdered sugar on top that caramelizes a little because of the pressing. This one had a ton of floury tasting powdered sugar on the top and bottom of the top and inside the top and bottom of the bread, not normal at all. And for whatever reason, mine was served with the insides of the bread out side but I saw others that weren't served that way. So strange. And the ham was oddly pale. Also, no knives or forks to be found, so the extra sugar was extra confusing Quesitos- I ordered 4 to take out. I should not have. They went straight to the trash. The dough was severely under baked and soggy yet the filling was dry and crumbly without barely any sugar on top to offset the cream cheese. Arroz con Dulce- overly sweet and watery. Also went straight to the trash. Should be a little thicker from the starch of the rice combining with the sweet milk as it cooks. It tasted like they cooked the rice separately and then added cinnamon, evaporated milk and a ton of sugar without heating it. Not even a hint of vanilla to be found. For $44 dollars before tip. It was straight disrespectful to tourists and locals alike. I hope they improve because there is nothing worst than a popular spot resting on the laurels of a good location PS- The Habichuelas Escabeche were good.

They were serving lunch so we tried the Pernïl and rice and beans. We also got a salmon plate and a chicken cacciatore cooked in Spanish rice. The restaurant is old and very unassuming, but it doesn't stop the crowds of people to come and visit and see old San Juan history which this building has to be part of. It's not glamorous but you feel like you transported back into the very early years of Old San Juan when maybe it was still just San Juan.

Pictures of Old San Juan in the early 1900s line the walls to show how little the town has changed in the past century, and Mallorca Cafetería is a gem that has withstood the test of time. Definitely an affordable breakfast as the most expensive mallorca is still under $10. Cafe con leche in styrofoam cups is a staple that is great even in the heat. Definitely worth getting a cup of orange juice as it is freshly squeezed to order. During my stay in Puerto Rico I had several mallorcas around the island but none come close to what I consider the original. Pressed and doused in powdered sugar it's surprisingly both light and filling. We had tried coming at around 9a the previous day and there was already a long line outside so we chose go to somewhere else but made sure we were out the door by 6:30a the next day to get to Mallorca before it opened and there was still a bit of a line. We were able to get in and situate ourselves once they opened at 7a; there are lots of small tables with chairs which we chose because we had a larger group but if dining solo or with one person it's definitely a great experience to sit at the bar for a more traditional feel. Again, this is a must for me every time I am in San Juan and I'm happy to carve out some time for one of the greatest breakfasts you can have. Would rate ten stars if it were possible.
