    Latte

This spot is in the top 5 throughout PR for best tasting coffee. The beans are locally sourced and roasted in small batches by the owner of the shop. The attention to detail is outstanding and shows through every sip. I tried a latte and filter, both absolutely flavorful and well rounded. The owner is a bit pretentious at first (comes naturally with being a coffee guy :)) but after a little while speaking, he was very nice. Went home with a bag and he even gave me the recipe for that particular roast. If you're a tourist to San Juan, stop here and experience how incredible Puerto Rican coffee truly can be. Everywhere you go serves coffee, but this is where you can experience it.

The cappuccinos here were amazing! Honestly, the best cappuccino I've ever had. I'm from New York City, so I'm not sure if our coffee will ever prepare to that of Puerto Rico's, but the cappuccino was extremely smooth. They replaced the milk for almond milk which was great for me since I can't have too much dairy. Service was quick and staff was kind. The outdoor seating area was gorgeous, a great place to take pictures. I wish I could take this place home with me, coffee was amazing for those who love strong brew!

espresso, yogurt with passion fruit, come brew coffee

Had a really lovely espresso and cold brew. Espresso was balanced and medium brightness, a little fruit forward. Cold brew was strong and worked well with milk. Also had the yogurt with passion fruit. Everything worked great as a pick me up and lovely to hangout in the relaxing terrace. Owner/barista was super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about coffee. They roast their own coffee, using local green beans.

Stopped for a quick coffee and it was delicious. Cute hidden seating in the back, I had an iced almond milk latte and a pour over.

Grabbed an iced latte and an iced tea to go: the latte was smooth and well-balanced, not over-roasted like a lot of tourist-zone coffee shops nearby, and the iced tea was refreshing after walking the cobblestone streets. The menu keeps it simple -- espresso drinks, paninis (Cuatro Sombras, Yauco, Viejo San Juan), open toast with avocado & egg or salmon, and a solid breakfast lineup with guava butter toast and dulce de papaya oatmeal that lean into the Puerto Rican flavor profile. Loved seeing local sodas and juices in the fridge case alongside the usual water and La Croix. Staff moved efficiently even with a small crowd at the counter. Good spot to duck into for a quality coffee break in Old San Juan -- feels like a real local roaster rather than a chain, and the space itself is worth a look even if you're just passing through.

My sister and I got the same sandwich, Cuatro Sombras Panini and it was delicious! A bit heavy on the garlic aioli but it gave it a lot of flavor I got and iced caramel latte, I like when I can taste the coffee more than the flavoring and it was a perfect balance. My sister got their iced mocha. She likes her coffee sweeter than I do but she still really liked her drink too. The reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because all the tables were a bit dirty. It wasn't busy when we first walked in but we still had to wipe down our own table

They originally told us 45 minutes because they were at MAX capacity. We put our names down and walked around to see what else was nearby, and no more than 10 minutes TOPS later,we got the text that our table was ready! Our waiter Mark was amazing and gave us great recommendations, especially the croquetas. 100% get the house ones instead of the regular jamón y queso! For brunch, I had the avocado toast with turkey, my S/O had the chicken sandwich, and both were SUPER delicious. The star for me was the jalapeño salsa verde--honestly one of the best salsa verdes I've ever had!The passion fruit mimosa pitcher was also great. One thing to know: the front seating near the door can get warm, but they have fans. If you really need A/C, the back seating is air-conditioned,so just ask if they can seat you there. The vibe, service, drinks and food checked all the boxes ,Definitely recommend!

We couldn't choose amongst all the empty tables, because staff were rude and dismissive. AC wasn't working, so we felt the humidity and heat. Ceiling fans weren't cutting it. We got the $25 wagyu burger and $20 Mallorca chicken sandwich, both of which were dry, bland, and underwhelming at best. The burger patty lacked flavor and there was no sauce or any accompaniments besides a very sad, wilted, thin slice of tomato and lettuce leaf. Pretty bad burger! The chicken sandwich was so heavily fried, we almost broke our teeth against the chicken. Insanely salty--we couldn't take more than a few bites. Felt so parched for the rest of the day. Fries were the best part of the meal--so salty and thin.
