GET THE FRIES!!!! Seriously some of the best fries I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned and crispy on the outside. The burger was also phenomenal. Simple but has everything you need. This would be a perfect late night takeout place. Not much seating at all but it also wasn't super crowded so we had no problem grabbing a seat at the bar

7th Street Burger is the real deal. The service is always on point, fast, friendly, and the kind of people who make you feel like a regular right away. The vibe inside is pure New York, simple, cool, and full of good energy. The burgers are easily some of the freshest and best in the city. You can taste the quality, juicy patties, perfectly toasted buns, and that secret sauce that ties everything together. Every bite hits the right balance of flavor, texture, and freshness. It's the kind of spot you think about the next day and can't wait to go back to. Great food, great service, great vibes. Freshest burgers ever.

Made a little pit stop on the way for some Sunday day drinks. Solid. Not stellar. Great staff. This would hit at 2 am after the bar. ENJOY!!!

This place is great if a greasy burger is what you LIKE. From the moment they serve the burger to you in its wrapper, it's sopping with grease. It's the kind of thing you eat and you're instantly regretting it because you know it will be sending you to the bathroom soon! This particular location... the staff was nice, but they had the music blaring with heavy rap music making it hard to get my order across to the cashier. Service was quick, food was out in less than three minutes. Not worth the hype for me though.

Got my free burger for the "on the 7th" offer on the app, and the burger was amazing as always! Fries were yummy, and music was bumping. I got my food pretty fast as well, so my stomach was happy with that

I was in the area and wanted to see what the hype was about. This location was really small but still had space to eat. I ordered the double cheeseburger, fries, and a coke. The burger was okay at best. The quality of the meat was noticeable. However, the edges were not crispy and the burger was lacking flavor. Felt like they were relying a lot on the house sauce. The fries were nice and crispy but lacked flavor. At least their coke was in the glass bottle which taste better than the coke in the plastic bottle. Unless I am drunk, I don't see myself coming back!

Basically the definition of don't judge a book by its cover. The shop is small and doesn't provide seating but only counters to eat at. its crowded and they have a bottle opener on the wall to open your own sodas. The burger looks thin and honestly ugly. But you have to try it! It's nothing that special but it is made great and has a lot of flavor in their few ingredients! the burger is not dry at all despite being a smash burger. You can taste the grilled parts on the meat. The sauce pulls everything together and the cheese is a perfect melty gooeyness. I usually feel like bread to burger ratio is not great especially in smash burgers but because of the sauce and flavors, it felt perfect. Onions are a great addition to lighten it up a little (but i would still consider this a pretty heavy burger). 4/5

The best veg burger ever!!! Got this on door dash at first so it was a little cold and when I say I have never had good cold fries until now is soooooo true. Now im here is person and they are crispy fries. Definitely have to try.

Visiting from LA and have seen this place on my IG for the past year, so it was on my priority list. I write my reviews truthfully so it (almost) pains me to award 5 stars, but 7th street is deserving. Super simple menu (burger or fries). Got the double cheeseburger, fries, and 2x sides of sauce (1x special sauce, 1x spicy special sauce). The burger was super, super tasty. Seasoned to perfection, smashed well, and you get that yum, griddle taste (almost diner-esque flavor) which brought it over the top. Bun looks super squishy/about to fall apart, but it does not. It remains intact to the end. I went in skeptical but this burger was legit, wish we had it in LA (I liked it more than easy street and Goldburger). Special sauce (regular) is FIRE, with texture. The spicy version was too synthetic, it's like a bottled Kraft italian dressing texture, I hated it.

7th Street always does it for me. It's New York so of course the price will be a little high, but 7th Street Burger is easily making the most accessible and delicious burger you grab in the city. As an LA native, I miss In N Out everyday, but this does it for me. Service team is always quick with it, so much appreciated!

First time trying 7th street was after a night out. I love how convenient all of the locations are. It's so simple but done really well. I like the char on the meat and the bun. Their fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I have no complaints, would come again!

Everything you'd want in a burger. The flavor, the grease, the way the cheese melts perfectly with the buns complimenting the smashed patty. Imagine how great it would taste drunk at night. Fries were just mid but the burgers are really the star of the show. Prices on the burgers can be questionable due to the size of them, a person can eat two in one sitting easy. I would come back here again. Very straight forward menu but a must try if you are a cheeseburger lover.

We were thrilled to find two seats at the end of the bar when we arrived. As luck would have it, the two gentlemen next to us eventually left, allowing us to slide over and enjoy an even better view of the TV for the rest of the game. I started with a Tito's and club soda, but unfortunately, something seemed off--perhaps the club soda was flat. The drink just wasn't good. To their credit, the bartender took it back without hesitation and was very accommodating. I then ordered a Negroni after the woman sitting next to us highly recommended it. I don't usually drink gin, but this cocktail was absolutely delicious and changed my mind. Since we were there for several hours, we shared an order of zucchini and eggplant chips and happily snacked on them throughout the game. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, with a nice mix of ages and people enjoying the evening. We made sure to leave our bartender a generous tip since we occupied our seats for the entire game. Even though the Knicks didn't pull out a win that night, we certainly didn't leave defeated. I'd happily return for another game, cocktail, and fun evening out. And maybe even get dinner there. Little did I know there was another big room in the ack once you past the restrooms. They were having a thriving business there!

He was constantly busy zippin around but maintained a nice demeanor and made everyone feel welcome! Must orders of mine: the burger! Although small, it comes out piping hot and the fresh white onion between the bottom bun and burger is awesome because it doesn't make the bottom bun soggy and catches all the juices from the actual meat. Love subbing the fries for a Caesar salad! Standout appetizer is the fried zucchini and eggplant with tzatziki-- crispy, hot, juicy and I get it every time!

Reservations open 2 weeks in advance around 10am and they go super fest so I recommend you try for the day you need as for me I could only have gotten brunch on a Sunday. Those people spam the crap out of their buttons for the dinner spots and when I went I can see why. The place is brimming with old school New York charm and it's completely overwhelmingly beautiful and has an old jazzy vibe to it. It's large and spacious and they sat us in the middle of the entire restaurant. (I had a group of 6) The vibe was so good you don't really want to leave and they also don't really kick you out. I think we were the last ones to exit for brunch but they were so nice they didn't kick us out. Their espresso martinis are ok. It wasn't as amazing as a regular cocktail bar but it is just ok. We started off with a shrimp cocktail, smoked whitefish Caesar salad and the two plates of truffle monkey bread which was soooo good. I really enjoyed this as it's the main reason we came here. It's almost like a honey dinner roll with truffle. We got everything next which some people got their own and some shared. Some people got their own American breakfast platter which was some overdone eggs and a meat with gigantic toast and if you only order scrambled eggs it comes in a bowl but I would much rather order their classics like steak sandwich and the spicy shrimp was pretty good! Fries are top tier! I can see why people just come here for dinner. I would give it mostly 5 stars for the overall ambiance and environment and a few classics. I think their old fashioned is better than their espresso martinis though even though it looks so good in this type of setting! It's hard to get a reservation though so next time I'll need to try some new things if I score another!

Two-part, proper settle, tight dome, no rushing it. That's rarer than it should be in Midtown where half the bars treat a stout like a lager. Whoever's behind the bar here has been trained or grew up around it. Food's better than a second-floor pub between 5th and 6th has any right to be. The JRB burger comes on a house-ground patty (they grind in-house, and you can tell, loose texture, actual seasoning), caramelized onions cooked down all the way, not just softened, good cheese pull. Fried pickles on the side had a crisp cornmeal shell and stayed crunchy under the burger juices, which never happens. Buttermilk chicken salad was the surprise. Chicken actually brined, crust stayed on, greens weren't an afterthought. Only real knock: music was loud. Not sports-bar loud, more like the bartender's playlist got away from him. Fine at the bar, harder at a table if you want to talk. Room's got real bones. Reclaimed barn wood, old rail track as a foot rest, that big 45-star flag on the wall. Been here almost 20 years and it's aged into itself. For the neighborhood the pricing's fair. Beats P.J. Clarke's on the burger, loses on quiet. Go for a beer and a burger, not a date.
