The session starts with a very thorough scalp analysis. Which was interesting. I was happy to see that my hair and scalp are in very good condition. Tiffany and Them are really amazing at what they do. I was so relaxed and came out looking like a new person. I followed her after care and let scabs fall off naturally -- one of them is more depressed than the others and all have a chicken pox scar like ring that is highly emphasized with makeup. I was told I would have hyperpigmentation for 3-6 months which I wasn't worried about because that can be covered with makeup but now have to deal with this and am significantly less confident than I was before coming in and paying for this. Atrophic scars are mostly permanent, nothing gets rid of them completely and they can only be reduced in appearance with LONG TERM at home treatment. In office treatments that show quick results like chemical peels are expensive, and filler is also a very costly maintenance with no permanent solution. She offered to do veins on my face and I'm so glad I declined. Just love yourself and if you want to "fix" something about yourself always - always go to a professional like a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Don't do something that can potentially make things worse. My moles were fairly flat and now I have a much more annoying issue. I know I will have to see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon for this in the future if I'm not satisfied by at most a year of at home treatment -- for now I'm being diligent with retinol + Vitamin C and AHA BHA hoping for an improvement in 6 months to a year. Usually tret or other topical forms of vitamin A would be prescribed for this issue before more invasive and costly treatments like chemical peels and filler are recommended so that's all i can do. My experience for the 30 minute you are in your clothes and be prepared. Your clothes may get wet but nothing a blow dryer can't fix. My coworker and I enjoyed the herbal tea solution they rinse your hair with and we have grown to enjoy their herbal scents.
