We were looking to hire a lifeguard for a team pool party and found 805Lifeguard online. Jasper was very communicative during the whole process and easy to book with. The lifeguard we had for our event was actually a new employee (with lots of previous life guarding experience) so Jasper tagged along to show him the ropes of how they operate. Both were friendly, attentive, and gave the parents a lot of peace of mind during the party! Especially since there was a large pool, wading pool, and jacuzzi with kids in it. I would definitely recommend booking if you plan on having a group of kids swimming together, it helped the parents be able to relax a bit too!

Jasper built confidence in my son on the very first lesson! He can swim and is no longer scared of the deep end. Thanks for being amazing!

Jasper transformed our 6 1/2 year old son's doggie paddle into a confident, strong freestyle over the summer. Over 12 45-min lessons, our son can now swim several laps in a half Olympic pool. It grew his self-confidence, as he was able to pass camp swim tests and even brave jumping off a diving board. The experience has given him a love of swimming, which will benefit him his entire life. As a parent, I'm so grateful that he has mastered this milestone. I appreciated Jaspers serious, professional style, while still making it fun, which made me happy to make the financial investment. We look forward to hiring Jasper again next year to continue my son's interest in learning new strokes.

Jasper has been working with my 4 and 2 year old for the last 6 weeks and he is amazing! Both boys were comfortable with the water but not swimmers before working with Jasper. He literally had my four year old swimming by the end of the first 30 minute session. With my two -year-old old( who is not easy), he was patient, caring and taught him the basics. The boys are excited every time he comes over and you're literally jumping up and down when he walks in. He was professional and very easy to work with. We have really enjoyed our time with Jasper and I would recommend him to anyone for swim lessons.

I think Jasper is so effective because he is patient, and heaps loads of positive reinforcement on the child.

As a regular observer at this facility, I feel compelled to share a serious concern regarding the…read moreschool's teaching methodology and lack of psychological awareness. Over the course of 15+ weeks, I have watched a young toddler spend entire lessons crying non-stop in absolute panic. Rather than pausing to address the child's emotional distress or adapt the lesson to build trust, or even recommending a 1-to-2-month break allowing the child's nervous system to reset and dissociate the pool from intense fear, the instructors ignore the panic and keep pushing the child through drills. The school relies on a rigid 'survival-first' philosophy, forcing distressed children through weekly trauma under the assumption that taking a break causes them to fall back. However, a panicked child cannot cognitively process or retain safety skills; this approach risks creating lifelong water phobia. In addition, school's policy prevents parents from entering the water to join a child over the age of 3, which would help in these situations. While individual instructors here seem kind and capable, the rigid one-fits-all curriculum lacks a basic understanding of child development and emotional safety. My rating: 1 star for management's philosophy and approach, and 5 stars for my child's instructor and a good personal experience.

My almost 5 year old son has a slight fear of getting his face wet and had previously attended 3…read moresessions at crpd last summer. He did not learn or retain much from those sessions, between his fear of putting his face in the water, inability to keep warm (a neoprene shorty was still too cold in the summer) and short attention span. When I signed up for Connect the dots l picked lessons at midday to ensure it was warm enough for him. The main difference I noticed was that lessons were very focused. There were learning goals to be met each day, and most of the time it was exciting and fun but sometimes the kids reach an area outside of their comfort zone and the teachers at connect the dots don't back off. They firmly but gently keep working on it. That's why these 1-on-1 lessons cost more. My son had McKenna, the new lady teacher and he did well. Not a tear in the end but of course, if we don't keep practicing he will forget what he learned. Other things that will help your child to maximize learning at these lessons (not requirement but helps) -Sufficient upper body strength to push/lift themselves out of edge of pool -Able to understand/follow instruction in English -Able to handle being in and out of water in outdoor environment for 25 mins (my son needed neoprene suit and midday lessons) -Ability to coordinate limbs I watched a 6 year old learn to thread water, and swim the length of the pool (12 feet?) and he came in with some fear of water like my son.

What a wonderful swimming class! It was worth every penny, and worth taking the time. My son is a…read moreconfident swimmer, and is ready to take on this summer! I would recommend this place to everybody.
