The women's locker room was nice. My friend warned me about the lockers being confusing and they indeed are.

Been a member for about 2 years. The gym has nice equipment, tons of classes all good. However, the…read moregym has becoming increasingly crowded and members use the walking areas to spread out equipment so it becomes very difficult to move about the gym easily. The two small mat areas for stretching are crowded and often times unavailable. I often see coaches chit chatting on the mats and taking up space that could be used for workouts. The movable equipment like the boxes often are filled with personal item like phone and headsets so it's not easy to just grab what you need easily. Several times over the past few months the gym has had no hot water and/or no steam. I utilize the gym before work so this is a major issue. In fact as a write this just received a notification of no hot water. ‍ The sign up part was awesome, with Equinox providing guests passes, gift receipts for the store etc....ending the membership, however, has been painful. I started the process a week ago and my email wasn't on file despite providing all of my info thru the signup process. When I attempted to end my membership thru the email provided it had expired only two days later. Calling back, had to provide my email again. Went thru the cancellation process only to encounter an "error" at the end. Attempted several additional times with same result. Called the club and was informed a "report" had to be made and sent to the general manager for approval. What? My husband is now encountering the same shenanigans. No email on file, no address blah blah. The Equinox front desk manager was rude and condescending saying "I'm sorry mame" over and over. Extremely disingenuous attitude and tone as if just to get me off the phone and not genuinely sorry. Overall an awful experience. Beware, this is a hotel California membership.

He is counting the years until he will be eligible to be a CIT. When I asked my son why he likes Coach Russell and Kids in Motion so much he said "it is the best camp because there is something for everyone and everyone is included. If you like sports and games there are lots to play. If you want to do art or trading cards you can also do those activities." While my son didn't use the word inclusive, I think what he was getting at and what I have seen is that Coach Russell and his exceptional staff create such a sense of inclusivity, of excitement and of belonging among their campers and within the community. Other things my son (and I!) love about camp--there's a super great variety of activities each day including water slides and other fun adventures. Kids are grouped very thoughtfully by age/grade level into groups so there's not a big range of ages. It feels very safe and secure to me as a parent but kids also get a chance to meet other kids who are similar in terms of age. We always run into Coach Russell camp campers around town after the summer is over! On a more practical note, Coach Russell is also extremely responsive to email, extremely organized and great at communication! If you're looking for a day camp opportunity in the Conejo Valley Kids in Motion is just the best!

Our son and his friend started with the club when they were 14 and Chris helped them develop good values, inspired them to develop good study skills, helped them to visualize a successful future, and last but not least, taught them strong volleyball skills and strong team values. We have seen our son's skills and self esteem develop beyond our wildest dreams through our son's involvement with Chris and his team. Spectrum Volleyball Club is far more than a sport - boys develop into wonderful young men by being a part of Chris Harger's team.

I know all parent think there children should play more. But our son was a good player; he was good enough to be on the team. In reality I think he was just good enough for Chris to cash our check. My son did not go back this year to play. There were a few other players on the team that hardly ever played. One boy was really tall and an asset to our team, but he hardly ever played. That player was going out of state to play volleyball; after the season he figure he wasn't good enough to play so changed his college plans and isn't playing volleyball. Our son will continue to play high school volleyball. We were fortunate that his high school coach was so positive. One boy Chris sought out and told the boy he needed him on the team, his parents told me that Chris showed up at one of his games to asked him to play, emailed and called to try and get him back on the team. He hardly ever played the boy, he was sad. He was crushed. This boy was a good player, I saw him in the paper and he made First Team All CIF. So he wasn't a bad player. I hope that boy didn't quit, he was crushed. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. To add insult to injury, he email us with a flyer attached asking us to recommend him to other people. Instead I wrote this review. Hopefully it was save some boys son heartach and some parent some money.
