A great place to find bargain prices on Amazon and other store returns, etc. You have to dig, but you may find some treasure.

Beware some of the items might be expired. The store has a lot of signs with warnings on expired items. There was a lot of people when I went. It's worth look at for some home good items.

Seems like a great way to find deals every once in a while, if you're willing to dig a bit and deal with some assholes. Here's the problem; they don't check anything or sort anything or.......really anything. They just dump new things out every Thursday. On Monday, July 7, I stopped in real quick on my way to the grocery store and as I dug through these huge piles of junk, I cut right through my fingertip. Turns out they left out some random slicer thing with an exposed blade. The cut was much deeper than I realized, and I bled for a very long time. It was serious. The fact that they left it out at all let alone to end up underneath these huge piles where you can't see everything tells you everything you need to know about whether they care about basic safety or (the loads of kids get come to this place). I asked the clerk for a bandage before the bleeding really got going. She handed me a wet wipe. No apology or concern. Nothing. Let's not forget that several of the times I've been here I've found numerous clit suckers, butt plugs, and dildos left out amongst the stuff (Mind you all the stuff they sell are returns. How is it even an option to put out sex toys if all you buy are returned items that end up touched by hundreds of people?) No Thanks. The concept is it what it is, but so are the people behind it.

SuperThrift is under Rescue Mission Alliance nonprofit…read more The store itself is HUGE for my shopping taste. It's a little overwhelming for me to find clothing items. I have been lucky finding some great deals on shoes-- Like new Danskos and Toms. I feel like retail businesses end up donating here, I do tend to see Toms shoes come through a lot. The clothing prices can range from average baseline prices similar (or lower) to Goodwill but some items may have unusually high prices. It's hard to gauge. I did see many clothing items that were stained or looked very worn and were still priced semi higher than expected. HOWEVER, what I want to focus on is the main nonprofit-- Rescue Mission Alliance. They run programs for women and men who are needing shelter due to domestic violence, trafficking, or difficult unhoused situations. People who commit to their programs are allowed to shop at this store for free, so donations do in effect go directly to the people in their shelter programs. So I want to commend the store and nonprofit for their directly giving back donations to their participants via vouchers. I also recommend that this is a great local nonprofit to give your donations to (more purposeful than dropping off at Goodwills)

As an example you cannot find a regular Tshirt for less than seven dollars unless it's got holes in it and stained. They used to be very affordable and a good selection. I don't know what's happened but maybe the economy has made them having to pay higher rent so therefore they're charging people tons more I will tell you 100%. I'm never coming back, which is sad because I used to come here a lot.

As someone always looking for deals, Camarillo discount center hits the spot in bargains…read more This is a small store that has a model where you pay for items based on prices depending on the day of the week. Ten dollars is the price for Fridays, $8 on Saturdays, $5 on Sundays, $4 on Mondays and so on until you get to products that are worth $1 on Thursdays. New items are brought in on Fridays, a variety of items from games to photo frames to vitamins and supplements, steamers, calendars, knick knacks, and more. I've encountered items that I had no idea what it was and also found myself holding an x-rated item after I read the description to figure out what it was. . So yeah, they have loads of items and half the fun is just figuring out what you're looking at. Items behind the display case behind the cashier are more expensive as are the pictures on the wall. No "bin" really has any particular order to it. You'll have to dig through stuff here. You might want to bring gloves, but it's not really dirty so much as finding your way through a treasure trove of items. Some products I found online and compared to the price online doesn't seem like a great deal, but I have found and bought some random objects that were very useful on a day when the price is low. If you're curious, like a good deal, and don't mind burrowing into who knows what in items, then you should check this place out!
