    Overpriced bikes
    Sara B.

This place is huge and it's organized for the most part but what is really frustrating is their prices are insanely overpriced. They were selling half burned candles for $4 and candles without wicks for $3. Then there were the cheap bath sets you can get at TJ Maxx and Marshall's for $13. The big one was the bikes priced at $300 and $400 for USED bikes. These aren't high end used road bikes, these are run of the mill bikes sold at places like Big 5 for the same price. The cherry on top for me was the 18 or 19 year old girl walking up to random strangers asking for a dollar so she could buy the item she was holding in her hand. Everyone knows she isn't panhandling to buy the thrifted item, she is going to run off to buy alcohol or drugs. Who comes to a thrift store without at least thinking "hey, I should probably have money before making a decision to shop"?!

I can't believe this was my first time here! Wow, if you're just here to look around, give yourself at least an hour. This large and in charge store is so fun to navigate - men's and women's are divided into two parts of the store, but the shoes are altogether and you'll need to go through all the aisles to potentially find what you need. I found some great items and the employees are so wonderful and friendly. I can't wait to be back. Prices are decent and they do put more valuable items behind the counter and hung up high around the store.

Wow prices have gone up a bit. Surprised to see times as much as 89.99. What happened to cheap thrift shopping? Not what it used to me. It's not like finding treasure anymore. This store is very disorganized and dirty. Very unfortunate as years ago, it was one of my faves! I left with nada.

    Clothes all over the floor

This is the saddest thrift store in Oxnard! The customer service is mediocre to be honest the cashiers are always chit chatting and really when I walked in today they just looked at me with an awful look so I put my headphones in but honestly that's not the biggest problem here it's the mess I know it's a day after Christmas but there is another thrift store a block down that is absolutely immaculate clean and organized I couldn't believe my eyes truthfully idk who manages this place but please get a grip it's absolutely ridiculous this isn't something new I shop this store at least once a week you will find this mess here any day of the week the amount of times I have tripped over hangers clothes is incredible ridiculous it's an absolute hazard in this place I really don't know why this place has become such a disaster it's really a shame because it has a lot of potential it's HUGE inside I'm disappointed because I live about 5 minutes but I can't stand it I find myself hanging stuff back up and picking stuff up off the floor more than I actually shop please do better and please if you are shopping here please be careful of the tripping hazards ( I also added this to google reviews but yelp lets me add all my photos )

Pretty awesome thrift store if you're looking for gently loved clothing. Well stocked and really well organized. They have a discount day on Thursday mornings. Huge parking lot right outside. In the back area on the outside, they have a donation spot. Ido wish they had more carts for you to use in store. Seriously, there are only like 2. If you find heavy things or glass ware is such a pain in the ass to carry them around the store. Still no changing rooms but there are mirrors. Bathrooms available but you have to ask for the keys up in the front with the cashier and leave your keys in place of the bathroom ones. Their bric-a-brac is pretty well priced. I usually get my floral arrangement vases here for about two bucks. Some of the cashiers can be short and are always in a rush. But they'll wrap your glassware and place them in a box if you ask them ;) Cons: they need more carts

It's like the Japanese version for Five and Below. I also heard it is owned by Walmart. I read online that they have coffee pour overs and coffee filters for cheap. I found a ceramic mint green one that was $6 and the coffee filters were $2.25 for 90. I also picked up some chair feet covers to prevent scratching up my floors. I went a little crazy. I also bought a rice cooking mug that allows you to cook about 2/3 cup of uncooked rice and it comes out to about 2 cups cooked rice. I also bought a few odds and ends and some supplies I needed for my work tote for organization. They sell small cooking pans, some camping gear, travel items, small organization containers, laundry items for air drying laundry and mesh bags. They have some cute kitchenware and even nail kits and accessories. I did the self check out which they had a sign next to it saying bags were $0.15. I brought my own bag in. I will probably end up visiting Daiso a few times a year as there are so many cool things to help make life easier.

I let the woman at the counter know I am there with an order and have an order # in hand. She calls Monique over. I walk up to Monique with order number in hand and she doesn't even make eye contact and continues to walk away from me towards the counter to discuss with the cashier. Alright, I follow her up and let her know and am slammed with an attitude "do you have an ID?" And I said "well I'm picking up this order for my mother" and before I can even finish my sentence she rudely exclaims she cannot give me an order without an ID. I explain my mother is bed ridden and I have an order number and she refuses. I get my mother on the phone and magically Monique is able to provide the order after discussing it with her store manager. On top of that, she states "you need to be nice" after I asked her for the corporate number. She gave me the number to IT support. Pulled out a giant binder with tons of numbers in big bold writing I could read from 4' away and still couldn't give me the correct contact number. Unsure if that was on purpose or if she was feeling extra unprofessional. Last week we had a similar interaction when purchasing items labeled $5 and charging for $7 or more. We asked the cashier to fix the price because it is clearly labeled on the sticker with the SKU $5. Manager did not want to come talk to us, leaving the cashier awkwardly having to state the manager wasn't coming and he'd have to charge us $7 for a sticker that says $5. We had to ask him 3 times to get the manager up to the front and he finally came. Was not willing to fix all the prices so those items were left behind

Novelty drinks, stationary, toys, basic clothing and sports equipment. Not everything was $5 or less today though. I guess that's the state of things. I ended up buying a big bag of mostly candy for $31. Some for me and some as quirky gifts for friends. Self-checkout was easy. Overall the store was clean and well-stocked, though a little messy/disorganized. Some stuff, especially in the candy "bins" was not in the right bins, which makes the prices confusing. One of the candies I bought, I thought it was going to be $4 but it was $2.50. And a toy I bought, I had no indication of price at all, and it turned out to be $4. Their stock changes regularly so it's fun to just check in every so often to see what they have. And if you see something you're interested in, it's a good idea to buy, as it may not be there the next time you visit. Staff I talked to were polite and professional. Parking was easy - it's in a big strip mall sort of shopping center.
