First off, Happy New Year!…read more 2022 gifted me with an HP Z Book (2 1/2 years old) that decided to quietly die last night. Poof! No "hey lady, I'm losing power" warning or anything like that. And you know how that "I really need to back up my hard drive" procrastination goes, right? Let's just say - I've been up since 2:48 a.m. stressing about this situation. #1 - commandeer hubby's computer (not a laptop - why is this screen SO BIG??) #2 - try to get as much work done without sitting in the corner and rocking (stress does weird things to a person...) #3 - Check YELP for the closest IT Repair Specialist who has awesome reviews (and isn't shady ;-) ) YELP "matched" me with Nick, the Computer & Network Expert here in Simi Valley - PERFECT!! Called and left a voicemail message for Nick. Promptly received a text letting me know he would call me in 20 minutes. Fast Forward: Spoke with Nick and he immediately put me at ease by letting me know he could save the info on my hard drive (feel that breeze? It's me finally exhaling after a l-o-n-g night). I drove to Nick's - what a nice guy! SUPER intelligent and very down to earth about his incredible talents.
