Great responsive service! My plastic Manabloc valve key broke several years back, and at a neighbor's recommendation, I called 808 Plumbing and they mailed me a free replacement key! Wow - that was a life saver! The replacement key was heftier than the really cheap, original key that came with the house. Recently my water valve stems were starting to drip intermittently when turning them, and since my house had passed the 20-year mark, it was time to change them out. So I emailed Bryan and within a couple of days, he responded. I had to reschedule very last minute due to some personal reasons, and they were really nice about it. At first, they weren't available when we requested a plumber while we demolished our kitchen cabinets for renovation, but they were available after we reinstalled and the father and son team did a great job reinstalling the difficult piping through the cabinets since the cabinets were not exactly the same measurements as the old ones. They took a while, but they charged us a very reasonable rate for installing our sink and disposal. They also checked one of our valves that the first plumber installed and tightened it for us because it was loose. Where I live, work is always being done to our apartment buildings water lines and we get notices that the water will be shut off for a period of time. When they turned back on the water to my building, I noticed that one of my bathroom showers spout was leaking. I figured the water pressure from the water being turned back on did some damage. A friend recommended me to 808 Plumbing and Services when I mentioned that I just bought a condo and would like to replace the toilets in the apartment as a way to freshen up the apartment and make some small touches to make it feel like home (not too mention...it just felt cleaner to have brand new toilets to use). Bryan and Spencer were fantastic to work with from the very first contact. I reached out to them and they were very responsive. I mentioned that my toilets seem to be shorter than average due to my bathroom counter extends over the top of the toilet, but they were able to order the toilets that would fit and were able to quickly put me on their schedule to get it installed. I was very happy with how quickly they were able to do the install as my condo gives a limited amount of time to do plumbing work. Then, a few months later, I had a leak in my kitchen drainage pipe...so I essentially couldn't run water down my kitchen sink. I reached out to Spencer and he was able to come by the next day to check out the issue. I was so thankful that they were able to get me on their schedule in a few days time to repair the leak. First - skilled laborers are seemingly harder to find these days. Second - they are BUSY! With all that being said, my kiddo admitted to flushing a large cap down the toilet after I broke my plunger trying to clear the clog... We had a major problem when we got home and found water everywhere so after cleaning it up we evidently found the problem which came from a water panel that finally went out on us. My 30 year old condo had a leak with a 16 port manabloc that's discontinued by the manufacturer. Bryan knew exactly the right solution and it was a speedy and an efficient one. We had water seeping into our tile and grout and we didn't know where it was coming from. We thought perhaps a few bathtub or shower splashes? Slowly the lower walls looked a little discolored, so a friend recommended we call 808 Plumbing. We did, and Tracey came out the same day to take a look. He did all sorts of tests with specific instruments to detect if there was a leak from a faucet, toilet, plumbing issue, bathtub leak or what. He also checked to see if there was any moisture in the walls. Well there was a leak from the toilet, which ruined the grout, and there was moisture in the walls from the toilet having a slow leak. He worked on the problem and fixed the toilet, put in new parts, cleaned the grout where he worked and told me to check with my insurance on the moisture-laden walls. I appreciate his knowledge and being so conscientious to make everything work again. I live in the Kapolei Knolls subdivision and was having a problem with the manabloc plumbing system installed in my home. Several of the valve stems on the control panel broke off. This left me with no control to several outlets. The valves were now stuck in either the on or off position, depending on the position the valve stem broke. Whenever I had to do any type of simple plumbing work, such as just changing the toilet flushing mechanism, I would go to the main valve to turn off the water. This meant the entire house would be without water until I was done with the project. I did this in fear that more valve stem would break. This was becoming an annoying problem and a concern that If I were to have a major leak, I would have to run outside to turn off the main valve to avoid flooding in my home. I called several plumbers and asked if they worked on the manabloc plumbing system, many said no. Called 808 Plumbing and spoke with Brian and he assured me that he could fix my problem. Made an appointment and he and his partner showed up the next day to resolve my issues. Well they not only changed the broken ones, but they replaced all 30 of the valves on the manifold with a newer type of valve with large stems that wouldn't break as easily. They took less than an hour to change the entire unit. Brian suggested that I turn the valves at least one to two times a year to keep the valves from sticking, which I will make certain to do. Hooray, now its as good as new and I don't have to run outside anymore to control the water. I contacted the 808 Plumbing & Services for a leaky valve on an outdoor main waterline and the owner and his assistant showed up later that day (he had 2 previously scheduled stops and was still able to fit me in). After they showed up, they were extremely professional and got right down to business. Suctioned the water out of the main receptacle and after finding the problem, explained what it was and fixed in in about 10 minutes. Valve needed new wrapping and tightening.
