I made an appointment online via their website and when we arrived the shop was closed up with the "Open" sign blinking. My phone number and email were in the booking but no one called to say they were going to close early. A woman working in the Rent A Center next door said everyone left early. My family is rooted in this community but since we don't know anyone personally in the barber shop I guess we don't matter? I can see from a recent review that I'm not the first person to be left hanging. This is for Rome. Another barber at another shop made me look like a q-tip - my regular barber was out so I got stuck with a random. I stopped here to (hopefully) get it fixed. Rome did it; gave me exactly what I asked for, and even recommended a hard part. I wasn't too sure, but I took a risk. He was 100% right - it looked awesome. This man knows his craft, forward and back. He may not be aware yet, but today he earned a repeat customer for life. Rome - thank-you sir, I will see you next week for a matching shave to go with this magnificent haircut! Worst experience I had ever had here. Only 2 barbers 1 guy an older lady named Lauren. I went couple weeks ago and got awesome cut by Jake. T Out of respect of my elders I didn't say anything just paid $30 since she had no change. Had hair all over after. Her clippers are dull, she kept dropping the clips, she was digging into my head cause the clippers were losing power, and my head is hot and itchy, not sure if I'll be back after this. Had a 2:30 Appointment. Its not 3:30p & Still havent been seen. Totally unprofessional.

I went in for a haircut and showed the guy what I wanted and he still didn't cut my hair the way it should've been . He basically did his own thing . I am absolutely unsatisfied with the haircut he did and wouldn't recommend him again . I wanted a mid skin fade taper and he gave me a taper pompadour which is not what I wanted and the fade went to high to where it looks like I have a borderline mohawk . There's not even a fade . He just buzzed my hair . And on top of that he was using the same buzzer that he was using on me, on another person right across from me and wasn't changing the buzzers at all which I thought was totally unsanitary . I was also there for more than an hour which I thought was ridiculous bc my hair wasn't that long . And on top of that he kept coughing right by me while cutting my hair and was wearing no mask . It was honestly a horrible experience . I've been there 2 years ago and it was a much better experience then i had yesterday . I wouldn't recommend this place and I was really disappointed . Now I have to go to my first day of work with a haircut that I didn't even want . It was basically what the barber wanted and that's not okay . read more

Cash only. You might get cut with a razor blade if you get edge. Happened twice. Also had a guy cut my hair and stopped to text on his phone. Off and on. About 10+ times. Over at least 10 min. Not even an exaggeration. Went there this Sunday and they were closed. Found myself staring at the sign that read "We are open everyday." Why do I torture myself like this. Took my son this morning and signed in at 11:10am. The only thing that I did not like was the wait. We were 3rd in line on the sign in sheet and did not get called into a chair until 12:25pm. After that it was great tho. The guys are friendly and really care about what they do. I guess that's why they spend a lot of time on each of their client's because they want to make it perfect. My son's fade is perfect with straight edges and not crooked at all and it was for a very reasonable price. The shop is also clean and comfortable. We will be going for his next cut too. read more

Terrible!!! First I called early in the morning to make an appointment for my two boys in the afternoon. The lady who answered the phone asked which barber do I want. I told her it didn't matter what barber. She said appointments are made with a barber only otherwise it's a walk-in. I decided to bring my boys in for their hair cut despite not having a appointment. I came into 808 Simply Faded at about 3:00 in the afternoon with my son 14, son 8, daughter 6 and 4 month old daughter. Wrote their names on the paper and sat down. While sitting in the waiting area we could hear the music playing. After about half an hour of waiting one of the guys cutting hair changed the music and turned up the volume. Wouldn't have been a problem, but the music being played was so obscene and completely inappropriate around children. Some of lyrics were "n**ger f**k sh*t what.....sh*t sh*t sh*t" repeating over and over again blasting at ear piercing volume. Not only that, but the barbers were repeating the lyrics and cursing back and forth to each while they were cutting another boy's hair. After waiting for an hour and still not being seen, I grew sick and tired of hearing the music and decided to leave. I was thinking of making this place our regular barbers. Oh well you lost business from me and my family and pretty sure you will continue to loose business with others because of this. SAD.....LOOSE MONEY!!!! read more

I went to the shop this morning and was greeted by Black da Barber who was very friendly and courteous. I waited for a very short while and quickly placed in a Barbershop chair I chose to go old school bald, it was an awesome experience from start to finish. My experience was nothing short of 100% 5 star. Would I go back 1000% yes would I recommend the shop to anyone 1000% yes. Terrible Customer Service!!!! I walked in and no one was at the sign in table, I put my sons name sat down and waited patiently. The guys there were all with someone at the moment, but nobody approached me, or said anything about how long the wait will be, they all kept staring at me especially the guy in the right corner coming in. I had a look as if "what I doing here" Two men came in sat down for a few minutes and were called by the 2next available. I understand if they had an appointment but at least have some courtesy to let me know how long it will be. If I knew I would have to wait long In the first place I Would of left.. Besides this was for a 12year old if you guys are professionals you guys would be able to do this kids fade real fast. And the guy with the appt. wouldn't even wait that long. What's 8min!!!!
