I pulled up to 810 Entertainment feeling like I was about to headline a tour stop. First trip flying with my brand new Pelican case for my bowling balls--had that thing rolling through the airport like I was on the PBA payroll. I was ready to throw absolute missiles. Instead... I stepped into a bowling alley that felt like it was actively at war with bowling. Let's start with the lanes. I don't know who's in charge of oiling them, but I'm convinced they retired in 2007 and no one replaced them. These things were so dry I could've started a campfire at the foul line. My plastic spare ball--a ball that normally goes straighter than a tax return--was hooking like it just got its CDL and decided to take the scenic route. I've seen dump trucks make tighter turns. By frame three I'm looking at my ball like, "who hurt you?" Naturally, I turned to survival tactics. Thought about rubbing wing grease on the coverstock just to get something--anything--through the front part of the lane. And honestly? The wings and fries were the only thing in this building doing their job. Absolutely incredible. If this place leaned into being a restaurant and gave up on bowling entirely, they'd be thriving. Now let's talk about the approaches... because WHAT IN THE BARNYARD HELL WAS THAT? I wore my brand new bowling shoes in there and walked out looking like I just stomped through a county fair livestock pen. The soles were so caked with grime I half expected to hear a "moo" when I took a step. No slide, no consistency--just vibes and debris. After one game I said screw it and bowled in my socks like a man who's given up on society. And for some reason--while we're all out here fighting for our lives--they're rationing beer like it's the apocalypse. Only two pitchers at a time for the group. Two. Meanwhile I'm trying to process why my spare ball just snapped across the lane like it saw a ghost. Then... the string pins. I don't even know how to describe this in a way that does it justice. It's like bowling inside a puppet theater run by someone who's never seen bowling before. Pins flying, getting yanked, doing weird little mid-air decisions--nothing felt real. Clean pocket hits turning into splits, absolute garbage hits striking like they were blessed by the bowling gods. It wasn't pin action, it was a social experiment. Final verdict: * New Pelican case: tour-ready, carried the whole night * Food: elite, life-saving, borderline reason to return * Lanes: criminally dry, should be investigated * Approaches: petting zoo conditions * Beer service: confusingly strict for no reason * Pins: possessed marionettes Would I go back? Yeah... but only if I'm eating wings, drinking beer two pitchers at a time like a responsible citizen, and leaving the bowling balls safely locked in the Pelican where they can't be harmed. read more

This place is great for families too. Nice lanes, great two bars, lots of pool tables, A/C was perfect, very big space. Bartender hella cool. The bigger bar was closed probably until later in the evening. We just got drinks, food is limited, we wanted a good lunch before heading to airport, so ate elsewhere. Was immediately greeted by staff at the front and grabbed a seat at the bar for Sunday Night Football. Tons of lanes for bowling and tables for billiards if that's your thing. New fresh clean hip feel, great atmosphere, GREAT pricing ($10 an hour (adult) for bowling which is 2 to 3 games based on how fast you go, $10 an hour to play pool regardless of how many people play, $4 shoe rental, unsure on kids pricing), food was surprisingly delicious and well priced, and yummy drinks. We will definitely be back, and will refer it to anyone and everyone. This place is fantastic. I held a business event there for 40 people including bowling, dinner and drinks. We had multiple nights out during our law firm retreat and people absolutely loved this night. This is NOT your average bowling alley; it is very clean, intimate, the food is amazing, and the service could not be better. I went because the sign outside said "scratch kitchen", they had chicken on the menu, and they had a big sign outside of someone shooting baskets in an indoor basketball game which looked fun. The chicken was overpriced bar bleh. There was no basketball games. Just pool and bowling. Again to be fair this might be a good place for pool and bowling. They had lots of pool tables and I think 4 bowling lanes. Vibe was quiet. Not intimate or fun per se, just kinda like a big room with pool tables. Employees mostly standing around because there wasn't much to do. (I don't blame them for that.) Service was fine. I remember feeling a little awkward when I asked for water and a food menu. They seemed caught off guard but nothing bad. Food took a while considering how empty it was but I mean it wasn't a bad experience. Just mediocre. This place was overall wonderful! Walked in with a party of four and was greeted with a friendly smile by an employee name Asani. She set up with our pool game and our bowling lane. The manger was also present and was welcoming. We didn't get any food when we were there but the menu had some good options to snack on. My friends and I enjoyed the vibe of the place. I was in the Phoenix area work and several of us (8 total) came here for dinner and drinks. We were lucky to hit happy hour! We ordered mostly appetizers. We had the spinach dip, the loaded nachos, the rosemary fries, the fried pickles, the two types of wings, chili cheese fries (at least that's all I recall). Usually at a place with bowling, billiards, and ping pong the food is greasy and nauseating - NOT true here! The food was super good (except maybe the fried pickles). We had a variety of drinks. I had cider which is one of my go-to's. There was music, which was loud, but not deafening; several large screen TVs with various sports playing; and the above mentioned billiards, bowling, and ping pong. The service was tremendous; they put together two long tables to accommodate our group and they did a pretty good job of keeping up with our orders and keeping our glasses refilled. OH! And the water they gave us at the start were LARGE glasses of water - much appreciated! Highly recommend for groups! read more

Such a great environment! The bowling was fun, it is like a combination of traditional bowling and duck pin bowling with the pins being on cords. The pins don't fall the same as with traditional bowling but it is still a good time! Also the lanes are oiled very well, but it's great for just a fun game with friends! My experience at 810 bowling was great! I went on a Sunday evening and there was we no wait. I ordered chicken tenders and fries and they were BOMB! The service was great I just wish someone helped with working the actual machine when it came to entering names. This place is a little pricey but a nice date night or fun night with the kids. WORST lanes I've EVER bowled at. Even our friendly server, quick service, and okay food didn't make up for how bad the lanes were. I even told the server I'm going to have to put in a bad review, and she was still nice to us. Haha. So, back to why these were the worst lanes ever... There was absolutely no oil on the lane we were at making it nearly impossible to hit the head pin with any sort of spin/action. And, as a righty, forget about picking up that spare on the 10 pin, if you somehow were able to manage knocking 9 pins down. If this was a dive bar, maybe I'd give it a 3 star for service/food/drinks, but since this is a bowling alley, I have to give this place a 0/1 star. read more

My husband and I really enjoy bowling and found this place near our hotel. It is really over priced for bowling prob 30-40% more than any average alley. But, it's in a downtown area so we settled. The balls are off-centered. Also, the pin setters are on strings so they don't fall like at traditional alleys with automatic pin setters. The place was decorated nicely, but it was hot and a little humid. They definitely should've cranked the AC up. read more

I came in to watch a UFC fight and catch a quick bite and and a drink. The food and drink were decent, gravy fries and a Maker's and coke, kind of hard to screw up. I sat at the bar top it wasn't crowded and I never had worse service, ever! It took over 20+ minutes later my fries were still not delivered. They get dropped off and the server says "oh yeah I'll get you silverware, 10 minutes later and half way through my fries he remembers to get my silverware. Not once was I checked in on again. One hour and twenty minutes later and the bar even emptier I had to practically beg to be closed out. Horrible service. read more
