Great guys! They came out to our property to offer a quote for mold remediation that had accumulated in the walls after a leaking window went un-noticed. They were friendly, information was given in detail, and on time for the appointment. I approached Build Pro because I saw cracks in the stucco. We had water damage before and I was paranoid about additional damage. The team came out to inspect it and quickly spotted problems with the fascia boards and window caulking as the source for the cracks. They gave me a (general contractor) price that was hefty but the promise to fix these issues expertly convinced me. They came with a team of 7 and got to work. Given the hefty price, I really thought this would be a major project. It turns out all they did was applying crack sealer and caulking over the existing window caulking. After asking them "this is it? Can you do something on the price?" I got something like: General contractor doesn't work for handyman prices. After that, I couldn't get over the fact that they charged so much and asked for an itemized bill. Radio silence... I wrote it off as a very expensive lesson learned. The main reason that made me write the review - They recommended getting the house painted as an extra protection layer. I got 4 different painters companies to come over for a quote. Not only did I learn that wall cracks and window caulking is typically done by painters as a preparation step but literally every single one of the painters pointed out the "sloppiness" of Build Pro's work. Crack sealer wasn't applied with the right tools and is clearly visible now. The house looks totally scarred. Also Build Pro didn't use tape to get straight caulking lines around the windows. They just went cheap and free form. The painter that I hired not only had to replace some of the caulking, he also had stucco over their crack sealer to make the house somewhat look good again. I really feel betrayed and simply ripped off. read more

Our bathroom had a leak and our water mitigation team (First Response) suggested Justin @ Build Pro. He came out and was very knowledgeable on how to repair everything and deal with insurance. I found his crew(s), e.g. Scotty, to be very responsive, cordial, and diligent. They worked despite the Christmas/New Years holidays to get us back in the house ASAP.
