Additionally a seam allowed water to penetrate and the top has swelled/buckled in a very conspicuous spot. Note this was all after just a couple months of light use. The company was unwilling to offer anything to us- replacement, repair, nor credit for the poor quality workmanship of the product. Needless to say I'd recommend not using Cherry Street for counters!

I came in several times looking for stone, trying to price out exactly what I needed for my project. Each visit felt more disappointing than the last. I was "helped" by someone who was clearly overly qualified for the position -- and unfortunately, acted like they were far too good for the job. The lack of interest, lack of effort, and lack of basic customer service was obvious from the moment I walked in. After multiple trips, clear explanations of what I needed, and plenty of opportunities for this new associate (who will remain nameless for the sake of this review) to actually assist me, it became clear they simply didn't care. Their indifference cost them a customer who was ready to spend real money and generate real profit for the business. Because of that lack of effort, I took my business elsewhere -- and I won't be returning. A & B Kearns needs to seriously rethink who they put on the front line representing their company.

One of the guys at 84 lumber has even went out of his way to get samples and send them to me through the mail! They are also all very knowledgeable. My only wish is that they accepted credit card payment from regular buyers. As we need materials and some need to go on credit for the time being, we are unable to make larger purchases there and have to go elsewhere. Also, the reason we like to use our credit card for those purchases is for the the points. For that reason we have made some larger purchases at places like Home Depot and elsewhere for materials. If 84lumber in front royal would accept credit cards for payment on larger items, I'd give them a 5 star review.
