He was only moderately interested as he told us his specialty was "historic" preservation (sorry our house is only historic to our family). We were told we would be called to set up a visit for measurements followed by a quote. After two weeks and no call my husband called the store and was told we would get a call (last) Saturday and still nothing. Guess we'll move on. Would like to use this side of the state line, but what can we do. I spoke to a carpenter that has done some work for me in the past, and he suggested I talk to PC as they are a Andersen distributor. Stopped in PC with the idea I may have to buy a replacement window. I spoke with Sandra McClure and explained what was going on with my window. Once she narrowed down the exact model of my window, she took me to their window showroom. Ms. McClure pointed me to the Series 200 Andersen window and asked if that is my window. She was right on the money. At this point she starts disassembling the window so she could show me all the weatherstripping and gaskets. She showed me each one I should check. At this point we go back to the sales desk and she prints out a full schematic of my window and highlights all the pieces I needed to check. I had volunteered I thought I may have to buy a new window. Throughout our entire conversation she said I have excellent windows and she doubted it needed replacing. She kept saying she felt sure my window could be repaired without too much trouble. Additionally she stated any parts I may need she could get them for me. Not one time did she try to sell me a new window. I did ask for a quote just in case my worse fears were the case. So, I come home and start taking my window apart. Two of the main gaskets that seal the windows together are somewhat adjustable. I gently adjusted the gaskets and the window quit leaking air. Now one final small problem. As I was trying to tighten up the window latch, I stripped out the wood casing. So I call Ms. McClure and first thank her for her excellent guidance. Then I explain I stripped the screws on the latch. Yep, she had a fix for that too. Worked like a charm. In these times of less and less customer service, Ms. McClure and PC provided excellent service. You can bet if I need anything window related, I'll buy it at PC.

Well, now I really don't know what the deal is, do I look homeless or poor or incapable of making a purchase because I got the EXACT same reception as I did at the other location. Well, no actually this was worse because while I was there two people came in and got a rather warm greeting, while I am in their side room with all the displays making a terrible racket as to alert someone that I do in fact exist. Nope. I then came out into the main room and walked by the desk three times, all the while making notes and testing features. You think I could grab the interest of anyone by doing that? ha, well you are much more optimistic than me then. Simply abhorrent customer service. I called the corporate office of the company who's line they represent and the people there couldn't have been nicer. Except now I have to drive over an hour to the next closest place who sells it because K-I are a bunch of jerks. Gah, sorry that I'm trying to give you money.

AVOID AVOID. on a recent trip to the Rowan Street store a sign is posted that says "Odd Chairs $1…read moreeach while supplies last, Rowan Street location only". I select 2 which are similar and HAVE NO OTHER PRICE on them. I select another item or two. when I go to pay the cashier said they were $15 EACH...Mentioning the signage and asking where the $15 price sticker was I was told "they had just got them in" I left the other items I was going to purchase and left. Remember when this would have been considered false advertising ? ? Obviously she charges whoever whatever she chooses....wanted them herself... or ?? Certainly a store to AVOID. Also thinking of donating items ?? There are more honest charities to donate to.

Staff is usually very helpful or find someone that is. Prices are maybe a tad higher than others but stock is healthy! Our plants transplanted well!

Sixteen years ago we bought FROM Lowes a Whirlpool front load washer and dryer. We also bought at the same time Whirlpool pedestals for each. We have been very happy with both appliances but after 16 years the dryer is starting to act up. I totally understand we have received good service out of these appliances. So we start shopping to replace both the washer and dryer. I want to preface the following comments with I still have the receipts for the old appliances and pedestals proving we purchased them at Lowes in Clarksville. After a couple visits to Lowes, we decide on a new pair of Whirlpool front loading appliances. As we speak to the (very nice) lady, I mention we already have pedestals for both the washer and dryer. The sales person comments our old pedestals probably won't fit the new appliances. I assured her I had done my homework and they were compatible. I had done all the measurements, checked how both new pedestals and my old ones mounted. I even found they ARE compatible on Whirlpool's own website. Now, I have convinced the sales lady so she goes and gets a woman I'm guessing was the department manager. This woman was downright militant! She started by insisting my old pedestals would not mount the same, or were weaker etc etc. She said I would have to buy two new pedestals at $300 each. I explained I wasn't spending an extra $600 needlessly. This woman then stated the delivery guys would not remove my old pedestals and attach them to the new appliances, eventhough they would dismount the old ones to haul off the old appliances. I explained I had purchased the pedestals right there at Lowes. I even offered to pay extra for the delivery/haul off. She finally stated I would have to buy new pedestals and turned around and walked away. Needless to say I won't be buying at Lowes. Full disclosure, I got pretty much the same answer, but in a nicer manner, from Home Depot. Finally, I have found an independent appliance store that WILL make the pedestal exchange for a small additional fee. Plus they will match the big box stores prices on the washer and dryer. Haven't bought yet but will do a review once the transaction is complete.

PC is an authorized Stihl dealer. They also repair Stihl products…read more I have a 16 year old Stihl chainsaw I bought new. It has performed flawlessly over the years. I haven't used the saw in a couple years. Recently I took the saw off the shelf just to see if it would start after sitting for an extended time. Unfortunately, the saw was sitting in a puddle of bar oil. I checked You Tube for the possible problem. Turns out that over time (16 years) the rubber oil line from the oil tank to the bar/chain can deteriorate and start leaking. I also watched a video on how to change the oil line. Of course the repair guy on the video made it look fairly easy. So, I decide to make the repair myself. I got the part from PC and proceeded to tear down my saw to make the repair. Well it turns out the repair wasn't quite as easy as the video made it out to be. I got to a point I realized I wasn't going to get this done. I took my saw (in pieces) to PC to have their repair man look at it and give me a price to finish the repair. Keep in mind the saw is 16 yrs old and not worth putting a lot of money into it. The repair man, Ed, got the new line on and reassembled the saw with the parts I had taken to him. Not only did Ed fix the saw, he did it for a very reasonable price. Top notch service provided by Ed and PC. I have several Stihl products and would not hesitate to take any of them to Ed/PC for service or repairs.

PC's service is really hard to beat. In my experience they are always warm and helpful. I like…read morethat. I've never gone to PC and not left with what I was looking for at a fair price. Five stars and two thumbs up from me!
