This restaurant used to offer dine in but since the pandemic, they are takeout only. The menu ofers plenty of choices of a variety of Chinese dishes. The portions were ample (translate that as large) particularly the soap. The hot and sour soup, in particular, was delicious. For the 6 of us (4 adults and 2 kids), we ordered a variety of meals and no one was disappointed. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Very reasonably priced. read more

The restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, and the food was cooked fresh and was piping hot. But the Szechuan pork was just sweet, no spice to it. Hot sour soup reminded me more of a vegetable soup broth, than hot and sour. I ended up only eating a small portion of what I bought. read more

This place has amazing food and is very efficient on making sure that your order is correct. Easy to call and they don't use MSG. I've been coming here for years and it probably reviewed before but just want to make sure to update it everything is still delicious. This is by far the worst Chinese restaurant I ever visited. The food has no flavors at all! We ordered pork fried rice. There was no pork. It looks like they bought precooked piece of bologna and cubed it. There was no any spices of any kind not to mentioned the ones that make Chinese kitchen so attractive. The soups were cold! Great Wall has been offering the best fast Chinese food in the area for years. Since covid, there is no longer seating offered for dine in...but they ensure your food will still be hot when you get home. They will likely be busy, but it's worth waiting for; just plan ahead! read more

My wife's friends talked this place up so she ordered takeout after work. I guess my hopes were up, because this place missed the mark for me. The egg rolls were very doughy, the crab Rangoon was all cream cheese, and the fried dumplings for the soup were very stringy and added nothing. Our entrees were standard Americanized Chinese, which is the usual fare. Not bad, but definitely not the best. I thought the Hot and Sour soup was good, and the chicken fried rice had lots of chicken--always a plus. They loaded us up with a tonof four tune cookies, too. read more

The person at the register was very sweet, but the food was disgusting. There wasn't a single piece of orange chicken that I could get down. All of the pieces had weird coloring, a weird texture, or just didn't taste like chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was fine, but the sauce was really weird. This place is ok if you have a hankering for Chinese food. Truth be told, I haven't found a go-to spot for carry out in this part of town. When I just want a small soup with a combo meal (ie, nothing fancy), there's a spot closer to downtown that gets it perfect. Still, if it's he only thing that you want is a hot and sour soup with an egg roll, chicken and broccoli with a side of fried rice, this place will do in a pinch. Both times they have not included silverware with my carry out meal; maybe it's possible to grab it around the corner from the register in the restaurant, but they've never indicated that when I've picked up my food. Walked in and ordered a hot and sour soup and 2 egg rolls. Waited a few minutes for order to be prepared. $8.11 Just a bite as we had late lunch. Live 3 minutes away. Egg rolls might have been good if they were not room temp. Hot and sour was maybe warm. If you like cabbage soup this is for you! Got the sour but not a bit hot. We ate half and poured the rest down the drain, sorry drain. I will never go back to this establishment. If you cannot get a simple order right cannot imagine what a meal would be like. Cold in 5 minutes? Our normal Chinese restaurant is 12 minutes away and you have to be careful because it's so hot 15 minutes after I get home. Doesn't deserve one star. read more

Simple and cheap food is what I am always looking for and this little place has it. Snuggled in a shopping center near Kroger off of 22 and the Snyder. It's not much to look at but they have good food and it's quick. It's run by a little Chinese family who is very friendly. Go check it out. They have good egg rolls. Strip mall Chinese food. Exactly what you expect for inexpensive, quick Chinese food. $5.99 for a small lunch buffet that comes with a fountain soda. Nothing fancy at all but the hot and sour soup was tasty and the 8-10 selections main dishes were all hot and good enough. As far as "fast food" Chinese goes, it's hard to beat this place. I go here often getting their Garlic Chicken combination - extra spicy and an order of their crab ragoons. LOVE - and probably the worlds best hangover cure. The lady up front is always really friendly and prompt. I've even walked in where she was making the crab ragoons off to the side, which makes me feel like at the very least that is made by hand (and includes actual chunks of crab). It's a fairly tiny restaurant, so I typically grab take out, but have been there once or twice for their lunch buffet - which includes a drink and is less than $10! While there never is really a lot of one item on the buffet, it's their way of ensuring everything on there is fresh, so they are constantly adding hot food. I also want to note that this place is kind of in a nook there in that little plaza. It's wedged between Sun Tan City and a dry cleaning shop (Yale?), but parking is always easy to find since it shares a parking lot. read more

888 Great Wall is hands down my favorite Chinese takeout. I have not found another restaurant (not even in New York City) that has better tasting takeout than here. Everything is simply amazing. Getting food from here is a staple whenever I come home to visit. My favorite dish is the Beef Lo Mein. The beef is tender and flavorful, and the noodles are addicting. Every time I order this, I catch my mom eating the leftovers cold out of the box the next morning. The egg rolls are also amazing. Every chicken dish has my heart. I don't think I will ever find another Chinese takeout place better than 888 Great Wall. read more

Just got takeout and it was ready really fast and tasted very good. We had Beef lo mein and General tso's chicken. Both had a good flavor.

This use to the be the take out restaurant in the area, but they have changed their cuts of meat. The beef use to be fresh sliced beef, now they use some spongy meat that has terrible texture. The pork and chicken a fatty. If they fix their meat issue, they will once again rise to the top of my list. read more
