If i could give 0 stars I would. Made appointment to pick up accent chair and provided 360 degree pictures of said chair. Scheduled pickup for afternoon. Day before get phone confirming appt for morning. Told them I made appointment for afternoon. They said schedule was already made and it would be between 9 a.m. and noon. Because of this I had to cut short a previous appointment. At 12:30, called to see where the men were. After checking, got a return call to say they were behind schedule and would be there this afternoon. At approximately 2:30 p.m. I hear a faint knock at my door. Despite being told I would get a phone call 15-30 minutes before, I opened the door to two men, neither spoke any english. I showed them the chair and that's when the fun began. They examine the chair and take a photo. Then they place a call to the "office" and tell the woman on the phone that there is a stain. I asked the women to have them show me the stain. The men then pointed to the fabric and said it was stained. I said it is not stained, that is the pattern of the fabric. The women then said that they would remove it at a nominal cost. That's when I lost it. I said you are scammers and the men are morons. At that point,, the woman said she was hanging up. I should have paid more attention to the prior reviews. I don't know how this organization works, but it's apparent that they get more money to "take it away" and then sell it again. Beware of them. I just had 9 Pickup to my home to pick up a practically brand new furniture set perfect for a kids room or a kids play area. It was too small for me so I decided to donate it. I sent them pictures and they agreed to come pick it up. They got here early today, which was fine, and the delivery drivers were nice enough, however,they would not accept my items. The reason being is because there was a little bit and I'm talking a little bit of dust on it, and a tiny bit of dog hair on it. I wiped it off and it wasn't even a ball of dust and fuzz the size of a ping pong ball. It was clean, meaning no stains and in perfect condition. I even wiped it off right then. I don't know what they expect when someone donates used furniture. This is not going to be brand new bought from the store with a price tag hanging on it. This is just really unacceptable and totally ridiculous. I certainly would not recommend this company to do business with when donating items. Oh, if they won't accept it, and you still want to get rid of it, they will take it out of your house for you for a fee of course. So everything started when we decided to change the living room furniture. We started with calling different places to see which one would fit us better, after all we were giving away a natutsi all leather couch 6 years old. So icalled 9-pick up and they were very nice on the phone, they explained to us how they wanted us to do it. First they asked for pictures of the sofa, the sofa had no cracks or tears anywhere. after receiving the pics they told us we will charge $ 50.00 to pick it up. the pics were clear and you could see very clearly the condition of the sofa. i spoke to gentleman name Ed to confirm all was ok for the pick up. He told us that they needed the money upfront and everything was fine the pics were good we send them the money thru zelle, they confirmed thay got the money and the pick date was all set with the condo office.when the 2 employees arrived the first thing they did was contact a manager i could hear the converstion, the person on the other side said to them take some pics and send them to me. So i asked the guys why are taking pics again i send 8 pics of the sofe from all sides as requested and they said all is ok sofa looks good with them before the pick up. I suspected some thing was being planned 2 minutes later one of the guys says to me my manager wants to talk to you i said ok, the manager on the phone starts by telling me that the sofa has rinckles and i said of coarce it has its animal leather, i said to her have you ever seen a leather real leather sofa 6 years old without rinkles, she said well we cant pick it up noone will buy it, at that moment i said i thought this furniture is for the poor peolpe that dont have anything. Operator called me and suggested that I go outside to meet the workers, because as they claimed I was not home! Apparently they parked at the wrong address- a few buildings away from mine, and was about to leave. The communication wasn't possible since the workers didn't speak English. When they finally got to my apartment, they refused to take any furniture as was confirmed 4 days before with 9 Pickup company!!! I called operator and she confirmed that they don't take the furniture....They only take the clothes... I was arguing that all my furniture pieces was confirmed 4 days ago to be donated and I spent all Friday from 11 to 5 waiting for that. The operator offered that I pay $250!!! for each piece if I wanted to move my furniture! This company is a SCAM! They trick people with demanding for $$$ for your planned and confirmed donation upon arrival. Please read other reviews and be sure never use their service. The employees at this company were great to deal and answered every question with professionalism and timely information. Any required fees (COI filing and non-eligible for free pick up items) was clearly discussed and explained. I have had two incidents occur when they ask you to approve the quote and call you to confirm pick up with the schedule date and you think everything is set and you leave all items outside and then have to call to see what time they are coming of them for pick up and then be told i don't have anything scheduled for you. If times are not really scheduled please don't call with a follow up call to confirm time and date. read more

It was not that worn out. it was a two-year-old couch in good condition. It's unbelievable how you try to donate things and they make it so difficult, with unrealistic requirements. I had a client pass away unexpectedly late afternoon August 1. She lived in an independent senior living community and had just paid her 6600 rent prior as it was auto-deducted. Her children lived in the Southwest and their mom was to be buried in the Midwest on August 3. I basically had 24 hours to liquidate their apartment in order to get their mothers rent back as a courtesy to the family. I had contacted this company and sent both video and photos to confirm acceptance of her 2 bedroom apt being liquidated of all things. We were scheduled for August 2nd between 10 and 12 noon. They did not arrive until 2;30 without a flatbed truck--for moving furniture and without tools for taking furniture apart. Purportedly, we were assigned the wrong truck for pick up, which I do not believe as I had spoken with Erica three times and reviewed our video and photos twice for pre-approval of everything to go. My clients had to stop making their funeral arrangements, flight arrangements, service plans in order to accommodate the movers to be able to move the furniture items, they broke the bed and the entertainment unit in the process making the expensive furniture worthless and the men refused to take it as they no longer had room and had 4 more stops to make. I spoke with the owner of the charity, Rochelle to describe what happened, she had the operations manager, Brandon contact me to describe what happened again. I explained to him the predicament and the costs incurred as a result of this fiasco. He agreed that I should be livid over what happened, Although, as a professional myself, I just gave the facts and asked for some sort of minor renumeration as I had to call 1-800-Junk to remove the rest of the furniture items to the tune of 500 dollars plus my own fees of 250, as I live an hour away from the site. I did contact Brandon again, to at least remove the clothes as a part of the renumeration, but not the total renumeration, as my clients did not want their firm back. I suggested at least reimbursement for my fees as if the job had been done correctly the first time I would not have had to return to my clients site. I submitted my invoices, as I said I would. I never heard from Brandon or Rochelle since...this is not only a bad reflection of their business, but also of mine. Their lack of proper management of their business caused my clients undue distress, not to mention money lost. Had they COMPLETELY followed through with me on their side I would have gladly given them another chance, but not now. PS, Essentially the men only took the boxes, coffee tables, a mattress and some lamps, nightstand and the leather sectional sofa. We were left with the broken leather platform bed, the broken entertainment unit, a liquor cabinet, sculpture pedestal and sculpture, highboy dresser, office desk and chair, daybed, two mattresses, and the clothes. read more

They tell you everything in the pictures looks good, then driver shows up and says they don't want it, but will take it away for $600.00. They are just trying to scam you for a high priced waste removal fee. I thought I would donate some furniture and they state they are helping children with the donations. I sincerely doubt they are helping anyone but themselves. This is a true scumbag operation and these "people" should be ashamed of themselves. But my own fault for not reading the reviews first. But the joke is on them, they got nothing from me and only wasted their gas and time and did not get anything. I can't say much positive. They ask you to send pictures to see if items are acceptable beforehand. I think most people would assume if you send pics and no one makes comments that items are acceptable. They do not go upstairs for items for liability reasons. Ergo..I wrestled a California king mattress and box springs down myself. Then..when guys show up to pick up they tell me that no the bed and a chair I had were not acceptable. This..after you have rearranged your day to meet pick up window as well. Nothing against driver and his helper , they could not have been nicer. We had a very bad experience and unfortunately the woman who operates the phones, Jackie, is very rude. We scheduled a pickup a week in advance and I sent photos of all my items. The day before the pickup, they called and gave me a 6 hour window. 10 minutes before the window was open, they called to say they couldn't make it and rescheduled another week. I described the pieces that we needed to donate. When the employees came to pick up the furniture, they were extremely rude and refused to take furniture that had some scratches on it. They declined my leather sofa and sectional donation because it has cat scratch marks on 1 small side only that could be covered with a throw blanket. Yes I recommend 9Pickup. They just picked up a 2015 Baers sofa from Miami Beach which I'm sorry I had to replace due to my move. Two very nice men came up elevator to 4th Fl. Called me prior. Gave me a 3 hour window and were right on time. Both men were polite and efficient. I see some negative reviews here, but in all fairness my experience was very good. I couldn't ask for more. When they arrived they picked and chose what they were going to take and left us with items we were trying to remove and donate. If we knew they were going to just pick what they wanted and leave the rest, we would have selected another company to donate our items to. I will not be calling on this company again. I bought a new sectional and arranged 9pickup to pick up the old sectional the day before to make room. They made arrangements to pick up on a 3 hour window. well we waited for them and when they didn't show up an hour after the arrange time I called them. Was told the truck broke down and they were unable to come that day. Think it would be nice if they called to let us know they weren't coming. Meanwhile the new piece was coming next day and we needed the room. They said they would try to get the truck here the next morning and they would call us and confirm. That was a laugh you guessed it we had to call not once but 3 times. Extremely bad customer service. Finally got a commitment that they were coming and they did. EXTREMLY RUDE and refused the sectional even though I sent pictures. These people are working for charitable organizations. Bad coma.
