This location is roomier with a nice big bench table by the door. We did a couple flights and got a turkey sandwich which was a surpisng highlight. They didn't quite have a spruce tip ale that I was hoping for but their lager hit the spot. They also have some nice art so I came away with one of their cool deer hoodies. When in Alaska! They also have a Mexican and seafood truck just outside that you can order from and bring in. 10/10 recommend doing the trails and then stopping here for a pint and a snack!

While the hotel is off the beaten path, it's within VERY easy walking distance of Sitka port. Given the food and kindness, we'd definitely return. They transferred us from the airport and then to our Uncruise meetup. We also learned about their fishing charter service, which seems super popular amongst their patrons.

There are plenty of windows that brings that outside natural light so this is not your dark and gloomy dive bar. There are also tons of pictures of many of the Fishermen who have came to visit this bar. There is a cool tradition here that if you ring the big bell that they have you have to buy everyone in that drink a bar. Cool enough one of the people in our tour rang the bell and it was exciting to see. You are then given a rain check token that you can save for your next visit or use right there and then. We used one and kept one as a souvenir. Also there is a liquor store connected to the bar where I'm sure locals come to stock up on their alcohol and tobacco. Overall it was a nice spot that really does feel like this is a locals only/fisherman's bar.
